The Hero

    Joseph "Joe" Gomez/ Ralabast

Joe Gomez

The main character of the story, an normal teenage boy that finds out he's a chimera and The Chosen One. At least, at first. In truth, he's IS Ralabast, the first chimera and in fact the first living thing in existences, who died mysteriously for mysterious reasons.
  • The Atoner: As its revealed, Ralabast killed himself partially because he felt the actions he committed to protect nature were too terrible to bear, and began to question wether he really needed to do them to begin with, and so opted to die so he could reincarnate as a new person with a fresher perspective.
  • Badass Adorable: A very dorky teenage boy that's also a terrifyingly powerful Chimera.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Joe is nice, friendly teenage boy who just wants to live his life with his family and friends, and who really hates when people get hurt because of him. None of that changes that he's also an immensely powerful Chimera that absolutely destroy you if needed And that's even truer for Ralabast. See Good Is Not Soft below.
  • Bully Hunter: Doesn't like seeing people abusing their power over others, whether that be normal humans or not.
  • Character Development: From a normal nerdy kid, to a powerful leader that stands as the main barrier between Nature and humanity and complete annihilation.
  • Clothing Damage: During the first few times he used his shapeshifting, his clothes were often torn off, leaving him stark naked once he transforms back to human form. This becomes less frequent as the series goes on.
  • Color Motif: When he uses his powers, his eyes turn and orange-yellow hue, at first, after embracing Ralabast, his eyes turn blue.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: By Season 2, Joe's hair has become more unkempt and reaches down to his shoulders.
  • Good Is Not Soft: Joe is a heroic and kind person that often offers his enemies mercy, and once they've shown that they don't care about that mercy, it's over for them.
  • Good Thing You Can Heal: Joe can heal himself from almost everything, which is fortunate given how much pain and suffering he goes through.

Allies

     Corkindale

Corkindale

A mysterious rat Chimera that's with a mission to help Joe.
  • Anti-Hero: Incredibly manipulative and deceitful, and even willing to murder, but, his goals are alligned to good, and his acts of ruthlessness are not something he's proud of.

Kagan

A ancient and powerful Chimera with secret plans that involve Ralabast.
  • Anti-Hero: Unscrupulous Hero at first. Kagan's motive's for her actions consists of 1) being with Ralabast, and 2) continuing his mission of protecting Nature. As the story progresses and more and more dangerous forces started surrounding his life, this resentiment grows to point that when offered power, he takes it, and even after finding out exactly what that means, he still clings to it.
