Chaos Gods
Tropes that apply to the Chaos Court as a whole:- Destroyer Deity: They are bent on the destruction of the cosmos.
- Divine Conflict: The gods were already at war when Chaos entered the world, but the Chaos gods are at war against literally all other gods.

- God of Evil: They're all malevolent and destructive in their own ways.
Wakboth
The Devil, king of the Chaos Court.
- Arch-Enemy: He's the Chaos god that Urox hates most, which takes some doing.
- Big Bad: He leads the Chaos gods in their efforts to destroy the world.
- The Dreaded: The single most powerful, and therefore most feared, Chaos god.
- Hero Killer: Kills Eurmal.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Killing Eurmal lets him join Orlanth in his quest in the Underworld.
- Physical God: He can step on your houses or cause a flood by taking a bath in your river.
- Top God: The most powerful of the Chaos pantheon, and their ruler.
Teghern
- Arch-Enemy: To Elmal, your main god. It's why he visits you so often.
- It's Personal: Teghern isn’t the most powerful Chaos god, but he’s the Chaos god that specifically comes after your clan, the one who cares the most about corrupting you, and therefore the one your people hate most.
Ragnaglar
The goat-headed god of malignant growth, and father to the Devil.
- Amazing Technicolor Population: He's blue, a hint of his kinship to Orlanth.
- Divine–Infernal Family: He was once a brother of Orlanth and Urox.
- Fertility God: He's the dark side of this trope—a god of malignant growth, and progenitor of the broos.
- God Couple: With Thed.
- Mad God: Due to failing his initiation.
Malia
Goddess of disease, one of the Unholy Trio, and midwife to the Devil’s birth.
- Face–Heel Turn: She was not alwasy a Chaotic deity.
- Fertility God: Said to be her original role.
- Non-Human Head: She has the head of a maggot.
- Plaguemaster: She's the ultimate creator of illness and disease in the world.
Thed
Wife and victim of Ragnaglar, goddess of rape, and mother to the Devil.
- God Couple: With Ragnaglar.
- Minor Major Character: She’s one of the parents of the Devil and a major Chaos goddess, but she has no solo appearances in the game. She's mentioned once on the Lore screen, can appear with the rest of the Trio in the Gods War, and appears in one group image of the Chaos pantheon—that's it.
- Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: The goddess of rape is part of the pantheon seeking to destroy the world, and rape is an inherently Chaotic act—one way a neighbor clan can strengthen Chaos is by refusing to punish a rapist.
Krarsht
Krarsht, the Devouring Mother, is the goddess of hunger and betrayal. She is a corrupted version of Yatelo.
- Early-Bird Cameo: She appears as an enemy in one of the endgame rituals of Ride Like the Wind.
- God-Eating: She devours Uralda Cow Mother.
- Hero Killer: She devours Uralda Cow Mother.
Ompalam
- Kick the Dog: Ompalam’s worshippers want you to sell them your own clan members.
- Slavery Is a Special Kind of Evil: The god of slavery is part of the pantheon seeking to destroy the world.
Nontraya
Nontraya the Taker is General of the Undead Army and one of Wakboth’s most powerful servants.
- He-Man Woman Hater: A female advisor can call Nontraya the incarnation of every bad male impulse towards women. He seems to specifically target peaceful female deities—though not exclusively.
- Hero Killer: Slays Ernalda (maybe—later Gloranthan myth insists she tricked him), and if you don't stop him first, Chalana Arroy and finally Humakt.
Pocharngo
The god of gorp.
- Blob Monster: Pocharngo and his gorp both take this form.
- Hero Killer: Slays both Redalda and Voriof.
Seseine

Vivamort
God of vampires, and rival to Nontraya.
- Hero Killer: Slays Humakt if Nontraya is out of the picture in the late game.
- Static Role, Exchangeable Character: If Nontraya has been defeated, Vivamort takes his place as head of the Undead Army and slayer of Humakt.
