Voiced by: Yuuki Hayashi (Japanese), Alan Brinks (English)

The CEO of one of the biggest companies in 3D computer graphics, with steady income and great employee benefits. His company was known to participate in the internationally famed animation feature film, Zoo Park Story, for which Misa was inspired to enter the business by. But in recent years, he settled for cases in creating models for the motor vehicle industry rather than the animation industry to provide consistent income for his employees.

  • Benevolent Boss: He wholly understands why Misa would leave the company even when she has become a rather good 3D modeller, as he cannot promise her a more artistic endeavor especially when the company has a steady source of work in rendering car models.

The young and witty Voice Director of the popular anime and Shizuka's first ever gig, The Prince of Baseball. Understanding Shizuka is a newbie with no name for herself yet, Asukawa is shown as a tolerant personnel.

  • Hey, You!: Since he doesn't require to remember one-time fill-in voice actors (unless they're popular), he gives his commands to newbies like Shizuka with this.

Aoi's older sister who works in banking, and visits Aoi on a leave. Being pretty harangued at work, she takes a chance to unwind and take off her stress by touring Tokyo with Midori as her guide.

  • Cool Big Sis: She's pretty much as into anime as the rest of the main girls, and being Aoi's big sister would most likely imply that she was the one who got Aoi hooked onto anime and inspired her to enter the business.
  • Japanese Tourist: Being a provincial, she hits all the stereotypes while still in Japan. All she does in Tokyo is ooh-ing and aah-ing at various tourist attractions, and spamming Aoi with lots of photos.
  • Office Lady: Who's also the New Meat in her company, so she's ridden on pretty hard by her sempais. Going to her sister on a vacation was a way of dealing with stress to her.
  • Sixth Ranger: She is as close and confident with Aoi's girlfriends as Aoi herself is, and it's shown that they are very fond of her, other than not being in their animation circle.
  • Uncle Pennybags: Even though she works in a provincial bank, she's considered pretty well paid compared to the main cast girls. Therefore she doesn't have that much of a financial problem, hence often treats the main girls with dinners and presents. Especially Midori, who's still a college student and has more free time to tour her around. They also state jokingly that should they make it big in the anime industry, it's Kaori who is going to finance them and handle their money.

Mimuji & Roro

Aoi's two sentimental toys, Mimuji (a doll) and Roro (a teddy bear) that she carries around with her at all times. They can be seen sitting either at her work desk, her car, or her apartment, and would come to life in Aoi's imagination.

  • Beary Friendly: Roro is, in contrast to Mimuji, polite and friendly, but delicate, naive, and doesn't have the best self-esteem.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: They frequently address the audience when teaching them about the ins and outs of animation production while the staff members are doing them.
  • Good Angel, Bad Angel: They're like this to Aoi. Mimuji is the negative voice and Roro is the positive voice.
  • Gothic Lolita: Mimuji wears this style.
  • Greek Chorus: They play no part in the plot and just appear in either imagine spots, alongside Aoi where only she can see them, or during the end credits.
  • Hopeless Suitor: The first set of end credits reveal that Roro has feelings for Mimuji, until Episode 12 where she finally returns them.
  • Ice Queen: Mimuji acts like an aloof, haughty rich girl who would rather not be around the shabby lifestyle of animation staff members (or, possibly, Roro).
  • Imagine Spot: They appear and/or host most of the imagine spots of the show in order to better explain the process of animation.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: After 11 episodes of rejecting Roro's confessions, in the end credits of Episode 12, Mimuji finally accepts his love letter!
  • Mr. Exposition: Most of their purpose in the story.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: In Episode 24, Roro, of all people, punches Aoi in the mouth and tells her to come up with a vision of what she wants to do.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Mimuji is the red oni, being hotheaded, irritable and prone to complaining about people, especially Roro. Roro is the blue oni, being calmer and more sensible than Mimuji.
