And The Fandom Rejoiced / Injustice: Gods Among Us

  • Kevin Conroy is voicing Batman once again.
  • Solomon Grundy's presence in the initially announced roster was rejoiced not just by fans of the character, but also by fans of other B-list characters in the hopes that they might have a shot at getting in as well.
  • Nightwing being confirmed, after the character was omitted from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe & The Voiceless in Batman: Arkham City.
  • The confirmation of Cyborg, same time with Nightwing's announcement, also compounded that he's voiced by his Teen Titans VA Khary Payton is met with a resounding "BOO-YAH!".
    • Even moreso in the Battle Arena, even if he lost to Aquaman, the fans are once more rejoicing that Cyborg can say "BOOYAH!"

    • Raven as well, now all we'd need is Starfire and Beast Boy...
  • Catwoman has been confirmed.
  • Aquaman is confirmed? OUTRAGEOUS!
  • Adam Baldwin reprising the role of Hal Jordan for the first time in years.
    • Especially since his only appearance as Hal before Injustice was merely The Cameo.
  • Deathstroke is confirmed.
  • What's that? A Pre-Order Bonus? And is that a Superman: Red Son costume for both Supes and Wonder Woman? YES.
  • Black Adam's confirmation certainly made a lot of fans happy.
  • The Green Lantern story trailer gives one happy rejoicing for Raven fans: You know how she spoke with a distorted, demonic voice that didn't sound like the expected Tara Strong in the her reveal trailer? In GL's trailer, the distortion is gone and she certainly sounds more like a woman, despite being more adult than teen. Add to the fact that Tara Strong herself tweeted that she did voice Raven after all, the fans are happy again.

  • During the Battle Arena Finale, Ed Boon himself revealed that the first DLC character would be the Main Man himself, Lobo.
  • Including a blue reskin of Nightwing's New 52 costume was one to fans of the character, who have bemoaned the fact that he's been wearing red since the reboot.
    • In fact, the fact that the evil one is wearing red could even be seen as a Take That! to it.
  • Martian Manhunter being heavily hinted at to be DLC, courtesy of a close-up of him at the end of Scorpion's trailer, has caused much rejoicing from his fans.
  • After the reaction to the DLC characters being less than favourable to another member of the Bat Cast & the Mortal Kombat mascot being added to the game, the anouncement of a second batch of DLC (Supposedly having taken fan requests into account) has prompted this reaction.
    • The first character? Martian Manhunter, with Carl Lumbly reprising the role from Justice League, coupled with the anouncement that Green Lantern will be receiving a John Stewart skin, complete with Phil La Marr reprising the role aswell!
  • Zatanna is coming as DLC.
  • General Zod is finally getting his Man of Steel alternate skin, after a leak and quite some time.
