This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

One additional bit I thought of to add to the Hilarious in Hindsight trope for Jesu Otaku's YMMV page:
At the end of the review of Master Of Martial Hearts, to explain the severity of the show's Sudden Downer Ending while avoiding actually spoiling it, she compares it to the ending of School Days, feeling that there's next to zero chance of that ever getting officially released in America so it's okay to compromise and spoil that series' end instead. Nearly three years after the review was posted, Discotek revealed that they had acquired the rights to the School Days anime and would be giving it an American release the following summer.
Please add the following to No Real Life Examples, Please!, as per "Real Life section maintenance" thread in Long Term Projects forum:
* BoardToDeath: Villain trope.
* DemonicSpiders: Videogame trope, not possible in real life. RL entries were {{Shoehorned Example}}s.
[edit]
Also on the NRLEP page, Inhumanly Beautiful Race is out of order, run together with the entry for Informed Attractiveness. IBR needs to be moved to the proper place for ABC order.

A moderator might know why a page should be locked, but not whether it's ready. The Complete Monster pages are locked as soon as the cleanup thread has processed them; moderators do so in this thread upon receiving a report here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlso, Locked Pages needs The Wiki Rule and Start My Own taken off.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn the YMMV page on the Bible, [1], in the Complete Monster section, please add this writeup that was from the Monster.Other Media page which is under the Religion and Mythology heading.
Please add the following to No Real Life Examples, Please!, as per the "Real Life section maintenance" thread in Long Term Projects forum:
* ForTheEvulz: Villain trope.
* WorldOfBadass: Loads of {{Shoehorned Example}}s about social classes and species of animals.

Also, it looks to me that the very last sentence of The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours should be amended to read "don't", not "do". Otherwiste, in the context of the page it makes no sense.

All your safe space are belong to Trump"Please do not even request that we cut a page on your work."
I think 'do not' reads stronger than 'don't', personally.
I commented elsewhere that a note that the principle applies to every work page might be a good idea.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettPlease add this writeup of Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest to the Monster.Film subpage.
- While initially appearing as a caring figure, Nurse Ratched, from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is anything but. She would remorselessly and cruelly manipulate anyone to keep her control over the virtually harmless mental patients all while maintaining her motherly image to her superiors and the outsiders to the mental institution. She then goes over the line when she convinces Billy that she'll tell his mother all about his "bad behavior," knowing full well what effect that would have on his mental health; he commits suicide. Nurse Ratched was also one of the employees who gave McMurphy, the film's protagonist, a lobotomy; he was later put out of his misery by Bromden. Ratched was so monstrously evil, Louise Fletcher (the actress who played her) herself was reported as being uncomfortable with watching the film because of her character's presence in it.

Please add The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours to Locked Pages. And I'm 10200% sure it's not in that page yet.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I have made a Creator page for Gary Cooper, and I would like the page for The Fountainhead to link back to the Gary Cooper page. Please add a single sentence to the description:
"It was made into a 1949 film starring Gary Cooper and Patricia Neal."
Per the discussion page: Mormonism needs the minimum age of female missionaries changed to 18.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanActually, it's 18 (provided they graduate from high school first) for males (used to be 19), 19 for females (used to be 21).

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Eeek, yeah. I mixed the numbers up.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPlease add the following write-ups to Monster.Live Action TV:
- The horror anthology series Masters of Horror usually has various monsters and serial killers as villains, but there are those who eclipse any others on the show in terms of sheer evil:
- From "Incident On and Off a Mountain Road", the silent Evil Albino serial killer dubbed "Moonface" lives in a remote cabin in the woods. He periodically kidnaps people from the nearby road to brutally torture and murder them, taking care to dispose of their cars so no one will catch him. He typically uses an electric drill in his torture cellar to perforate his victims through the skull, eyes first. Then he crucifies the corpses and displays them around his lawn. He has also kept an elderly man captive for an untold amount of time to the point that the guy went completely crazy and became slavishly devoted to him. There are even some infant skeletons stashed around his cabin, still in their baby carriages.
- From "Dreams in the Witch-House", the Wicked Witch of the episode habitually sacrifices babies for her magic rituals. She uses her abilities to force various men to kill them for her, destroying countless more lives in the process. She also uses a Shapeshifting Seducer trick to have sex with the protagonist by impersonating his neighbor, apparently to further mess with his mind for kicks. It's later discovered that there were at least 80 baby corpses hidden in the walls of the house going back all the way to the 1600s, so she has been willingly doing this for centuries and for seemingly no other reason than For the Evulz.
- From "The V Word", Mr. Chaney is a blood-thirsty vampire who sees his new transformation into a creature of the night as a great opportunity to murder people to his heart's content. He was also a pedophile before his undeath who sexually abused many boys at the school he worked at. He slaughters a mortuary's entire staff, turns two teenage boys in the age group he previously targeted to become his new obedient vamp minions and tries to force one of them to murder his little sister to prove himself to his new 'master'.

Not sure if this is the correct place or not as it's a troper page that I'd like edited.
Troper Durandall passed away about two months ago and thought it'd be a good idea to have a mention on his Troper page.
If possible could you add this link to the page?

Unclouded TJ: Taking Bunny-Ears Lawyer too literally. Please take Wikipedia off Locked Pages as it's no longer locked.
For the same page, in the Theatre section, in The Lion King entry, replace the word "rape" with "force himself onto" and move the entry above Der Vampyr.
Also, redirect Monster.Professional Wrestling to that page.
