Any who I got something I like to under The Broken Base part of LEGO Dimensions:

  • Supergirl beaning only available in Post Series 2 Editions of The PS 4 Starter Pack. Many people who brought the game pre Series 2 find this quite annoying because it mean paying for the game full price again just for on character. Others aren't really bothered since she is a clone of Superman.

There. Is there anyway it could be cleared up fit for the page?

Welcome. smile

You do not need perfect grammar. When you reach an average of one error per paragraph, you are good.

I would also replace 2 with two, but would need to check usage on the page before committing to that.

First: as you can see from my next post, you have some problems with spelling.

TV Tropes can help you with this. After typing in something here, click on the button that allows you to edit your work. Anything that TV Tropes doesn't recognize as properly spelled will be underlined in red. While the system isn't perfect (for example, it doesn't recognize Wiki Words), it will alert you to words you should double-check.

Second: Your post.

I got a Editing Suspension because apparently someone claims I have grammar problems and The Banned/Suspended Users Thread told me I had to go here for help on prefect grammar before they would consider revoking my Editing Suspension.

  • a Editing Suspension -> an editing suspension
  • on prefect -> on improving my

I would break this up into two sentences to make it easier to read.

Okay here are a few edits I would like to add to the The Night Manager page.

  • Cultured Badass: Jonathan Pine, being the Night Manager of several high class hotels, having a taste for classic literature (Including the Seven Pillars of Wisdom) and smart suits qualifies him for the cultured part. For the badass, he manages to successfully pass himself off as former soldier turned mercenary and dangerous criminal, manipulate Richard Roper and personally kills both Freddie Hammid and Lance Cochrane.
  • Flaw Exploitation: As part of his plan to work his way into Ropers inner circle and replace him Pine plays upon Corky's growing alcoholism to make Roper believe the other party is concerned about it, as well as damage Roper’s faith in him.
  • Five Bad Band: Roper’s inner circle.
    • Big Bad: Richard Roper, Mastermind of the entire arms dealing situation.
    • The Dragon: Lance “Corky” Cochrane, Roper’s number one man and front man. A large part of Jonathan’s plans involve convincing Roper to lose faith in him, and place it in him.
    • Evil Genius: Lord Sandy Langbourne, its him who does the overall paper work and financial parts of the deals.
    • The Brute: Frisky, Roper’s Psycho for Hire who he uses to torture Jed and act as his general muscle.
    • Dark Chick: As Roper’s mistress, Jed falls into this by default although she honestly doesn’t want to be part of his organisation and is with Roper mostly for finical security.
  • Foreshadowing: The magic trick Roper does for the boys at his party is a classic sleight of hand trick, he later does a much bigger version of the trick in his arms smuggling deal. Having the authorities focus on the trucks actually filled with farming equipment, and the actual weapons smuggled separately.
  • Guile Hero: Jonathan Pine, he manages to infiltrate Roper’s inner circle through a combination of Engineered Heroics, and moves up the ladder through a combination of a charm and quick thinking. Integrating himself in to Roper’s trust and then exploiting the position to manipulate events without Roper even noticing. He even manages to talk his way out of sneaking out of Roper’s camp and Corky disappearing.
  • Indy Ploy: Jonathan’s briefing from Angela basically amounts to telling him he needs to find a way to infiltrate Roper’s operation, make him trust him and get them the information on his arms deals. Throughout the entire mission Jonathan is forced to constantly make up his plans on the fly to adapt to the challenges against him.
  • The Nicknamer: Roper has a habit of giving all his operatives Nicknames, creating an effect that is mutually comedic and unsettling as he refers to Five Bad Band of criminals and hired killers in a way that conjures up the works of P.G. Woodhouse (especially considering who plays Roper).
  • Pet the Dog: While a dangerous Arms dealer and all around Diabolical Mastermind, his scenes with him establish that for all Roper’s many faults he does truly love his son Daniel.
  • Took a Level in Badass: At the start of the series Jonathan Pine is just a hotel night manager (granted one with some previous military experience), by the end of the series he’s taken down Diabolical Mastermind Richard Roper, and personally killed two especially dangerous people.
  • Wicked Cultured: Richard Roper has a thing for high class hotels, living in style and fine dining.

Jonathan Pine, being the Night Manager of several high class hotels, having a taste for classic literature (Including the Seven Pillars of Wisdom) and smart suits qualifies him for the cultured part.

I would split this into two sentences as follows:

Jonathan Pine is the night manager of several high class hotels. Having a taste for classic literature (including Seven Pillars of Wisdom) and smart suits qualifies him for the cultured part.

  • For the badass, he manages to successfully pass himself off as former -> as a former
  • manipulate Richard Roper and personally kills -> kill

  • into Ropers inner circle -> Roper's
  • and replace him Pine plays -> him, Pine

  • Richard Roper, Mastermind of -> Either of these will work:
    • Richard Roper, mastermind of...
    • Richard Roper. Mastermind of...
  • lose faith in him, and place it in him -> lose faith in Lance, and place it in him
  • its him who does -> it's he who does
  • As Roper’s mistress, Jed falls into this by default -> In order for a team to be a Five Bad Band it must fit the specific requirements on that page, the same as a Five-Man Band. If it doesn't fit you must not include it. Beware shoehorning! :)
  • finical -> financial

Having the authorities focus on the trucks actually filled with farming equipment, and the actual weapons smuggled separately.

Sentence fragment alert! :)

He has the authorities focus on the trucks actually filled with farming equipment, with the actual weapons being smuggled separately.

  • Jonathan Pine, he manages -> Jonathan Pine. He manages
  • through a combination of Engineered Heroics, and -> through a combination of Engineered Heroics and what?
  • a combination of a charm -> a combination of charm

Integrating himself in to Roper’s trust and then exploiting the position to manipulate events without Roper even noticing.

Another sentence fragment.

He integrates himself into Roper’s trust and then exploits the position to manipulate events without Roper even noticing.

  • giving all his operatives Nicknames -> nicknames

  • Roper has a habit of giving all his operatives nicknames, creating an effect that is mutually comedic and unsettling as he refers to Five-Bad Band of criminals and hired killers in a way that conjures up the works of P.G. Woodhouse (especially considering who plays Roper).

That is a very long sentence. Let's break it up into bite-sized pieces.

Roper has a habit of giving all his operatives nicknames, creating an effect that is both comedic and unsettling. He refers to the Five Bad Band of criminals and hired killers in a way that brings to mind the works of P.G. Woodhouse (especially considering who plays Roper).

  • While a dangerous Arms dealer -> arms dealer
  • his scenes with him -> his scenes with whom? The actor who plays Daniel?

  • granted one with some previous military experience -> granted, one with

At the start of the series Jonathan Pine is just a hotel night manager (granted one with some previous military experience), by the end of the series he’s taken down Diabolical Mastermind Richard Roper, and personally killed two especially dangerous people.

This is a run-on sentence (two complete sentences grafted together).

At the start of the series Jonathan Pine is just a hotel night manager (granted, one with some previous military experience). By the end of the series he’s taken down Diabolical Mastermind Richard Roper and personally killed two especially dangerous people.

Okay thank you, I implemented all your changes and made a few others (partially cause I'm honestly not sure what I was thinking when I wrote parts of that.) Are there any more mistakes?

  • Big Bad: Richard Roper. Mastermind of the entire arms dealing situation.
  • The Brute: Frisky is Roper’s Psycho for Hire and acts as his general muscle. It is him who Roper uses to torture Jed and Pine when he realises what they are doing.
  • Cultured Badass: Jonathan Pine is the Night Manager of several high class hotels. Having a taste for classic literature (Including Seven Pillars of Wisdom) and smart suits qualifies him for the cultured part. For the badass, he manages to successfully pass himself off as a former soldier turned mercenary and dangerous criminal, manipulate Richard Roper and personally kill both Freddie Hammid and Lance Cochrane.
  • Dark Chick: Subverted. As Roper’s mistress Jed initially appears to be this. However she proves to be a much more sympathetic character, who honestly wants nothing to do with Roper’s operations and is with Roper mostly for financial security to support her and her son, after being estranged from her family.
  • The Dragon: Lance “Corky” Cochrane, Roper’s number one man and front man. A large part of Jonathan’s plans involve convincing Roper to lose faith in Lance and replacing him.
  • Evil Genius: Lord Sandy Langbourneis this in Richard Roper operation. It is he who does the overall paper work and financial parts of Roper’s arms deals.
  • Flaw Exploitation: As part of his plan to work his way into Ropers inner circle and replace him, Pine plays upon Corky's growing alcoholism to make Roper believe the other party is concerned about it, as well as damage Roper’s faith in him.
  • Foreshadowing: The magic trick Roper does for the boys at his party is a classic sleight of hand trick, he later does a much bigger version of the trick in his arms smuggling deal. He has the authorities focus on the trucks actually filled with farming equipment, with the actual weapons being smuggled separately.
  • Guile Hero: Jonathan Pine. He manages to infiltrate Roper’s inner circle through a combination of Engineered Heroics and pretending to be an ex-soldier turned mercenary; then moves up the ladder through charm and quick thinking. He integrates himself into Roper’s trust and then exploits the position to manipulate events without Roper even noticing.
  • The Nicknamer: Roper has a habit of giving all his operatives nicknames, creating an effect that is both comedic and unsettling. He refers to his group of criminals and hired killers in a way that brings to mind the works of PG Woodhouse (especially considering who plays Roper).
  • Pet the Dog: While a dangerous arms dealer and all around Diabolical Mastermind, Roper’s moments with Daniel establish that for all his many faults he does truly love his son.
  • Took a Level in Badass: At the start of the series Jonathan Pine is just a hotel night manager (granted, one with some previous military experience). By the end of the series he’s taken down Diabolical Mastermind Richard Roper, and personally killed two especially dangerous people.

Offer Void in Nebraska

  • Even the Internet falls victim to this. Because television shows are almost always licensed for viewing only in certain countries, online players will usually block users from foreign countries. Never mind asking why the networks prefer to limit their potential advertising base, but they do. YouTube offers the ability to do this as well because it offers content from television networks. It's probably easier to list sites that don't do this. Unauthorized uploads on Vimeo and the like obviously don't count. This leads to such absurdities like a Sony ad not being viewable in Germany because it contains music by... Sony Entertainment. So if you're trying to view an official clip from The Daily Show, the "not available in your location" message mentions, "but hey, at least you have kangaroos and boomerangs." If you want to get past these, just Google Proxy Mate, Hola Unblocker (both for Firefox and Chrome), or just learn how to do proxies. For YouTube, there is Youtube Unblocker.
    • For You Tube users, Germany receives a particularly bad example as a sizable chunk of You Tube videos are not available there due to a dispute with GEMA.

  • Germany receives a particularly bad example -> Germany is a particularly bad example

More importantly, that second example is a clear violation of Example Indentation. Either it should be merged with the example above it or the example above should be split off into its own line.

Because the second example is really just a part of the first one, I would merge it into the main example at an appropriate place like this.

This isn't a violation of English rules, but that's kind of a long and rambling example. One good way to shorten it would be to delete the last two sentences as they're not really necessary.

These characters are related to the Rising, an anniversary of the Calamity.

The Crystal Caravan

A troupe of puppeteers and actors working to put on the play based on the Calamity.

  • Accidental Truth: Two ending of their play depicts some of the lesser known (to NP Cs) aspects of the Calamity. Namely that Louisoux teleported the Warriors of Light away in one ending and that he defeated Bahamut in another.
  • Game-Breaking Injury: The Caravan actualy had an actor ready tfor the role of the Warrior of Light, but an injury left him unable to preform. The Leader has the iodea of having the Warrior of Light themselves act in his stead.
  • Hilarious Outtakes: Pretty much with the Multiple Endings of the play are
  • Multiple Endings: In-Universe, the play has 11 different endings. 9 of which are gag endings, one os the normal ending and the last is a special ending that you can only get after completing it once due to involving a cameo form the Wandering Minstrel.
  • Mythology Gag: One of the Joke endings has the player use Zidane's Catchphrase.
  • Very Loosely Based on a True Story: In-Universe, the play can be accurate to historical events. Or you can flub your lines and have Louisoux pull a killsteal before Bahamut emerges, a Cheerleader or another warrior of light coming instead of Louisoux. The Warrior of Light Talking the Monster to Death, Bahamut being defeat in an Anticlimax only for Bahamut Omega appearing and summing his kin, or a fat cat emerging from Dalamud and single-handily cuase the two countries to have peace!. Notably you have to avoid these ending to get past the quest the first time, but replaying the quest can allow you to mess up and pass with a "close enough" scene.
  • Special Effects Failure: In-Universe, one of the endings has the Bahamut puppet malfunctioning, resulting in the carpenter walking right onto the stage. The leader is naturally mad about him ruining the show. Oh and the puppet blows up, knocking the carpenter back.

On a side note. I put Very Loosely Based on a True Story there with an in universe tag instead of Adaptation Decay because the play is an adaptation of a certain event in the game's lore. And I felt like the former trope fitted more because of that

I have a few editions I would like to make to the Sleepy Hollow page:

  • Badass Decay: The Headless Horseman, during Season One he was walking embodiment of Nightmare Fuel, an unstoppable killing machine with a passion for decapitation. Their first attempts of character development while humanising somewhat, kept the terror in check, as he had to possess someone to communicate and the reveal he used to be human if anything made him more nightmarish. Come season two, he spends most the season pinning after and being manipulated by Katrina. He effectively regains his head cutting back on his entire point, not to mention gets to do far less action with him actually losing the few encounters they did give him. Fans were not happy.

  • First Installment Wins: Season One was massively popular and critically acclaimed, gathering a lot of praise for its tight writing, variety of interesting and complicated storylines and brilliant cast. Then the other seasons happened.

  • Seasonal Rot:
    • Season Two, already suffering from the Sophomore Slump was universally agreed to be inferior to the first series. Due in part to a shift of focus away from Ichabod and Abbie’s relationship and already popular characters onto other less popular and more controversial ones without them receiving any Character Development to balance it out. The second half became even worse, as after killing Moloch giving what had been up to that point the series plot an unsatisfying conclusion, the entire season lost direction and the writers randomly introduced new antagonists who never lasted longer than one episode.
    • Season Three: The first half of season three was regarded as something of a return to form, with a stronger storyline and a new villain Pandora. However the second half proved to be worse, with Pandora being reduced from the mastermind, into her husband’s submissive (not to mention abused) follower. The Hidden One was underwhelming with him doing little more than sitting around and whining about his loss of power. The majority of the episodes had no overall focus, save the vague idea of restoring the Hidden One to his former power. Killing off Joe Corbin (one of the more well received changes of the season) wasn't taken well either, made worse by the writers choosing to do so by reintroducing a problem that had already been solved twice by this point, in an act that they unashamedly admitted was to make Jenny more miserable. The season final was greatly disliked, due to it stuffing the Hidden One’s death and Pandora returning to being the main antagonist resolution into one episode while most fans feel it would have benefited from more time. And climaxed in them killing off Abbie in a way that pretty much destroyed what was left of the shows fanbase.

  • The Scrappy: Betsy Ross, between her getting hammered in as Washington’s greatest agent and Ichabod’s partner despite never being mentioned before and taking time and focus away from other already established characters, has left her quite unpopular. Compounding these issues due to the nature of all her appearances (baring one) being told from Ichabod’s recollections it made any form of Character Development, or establishment incredibly difficult. Many fans complained that the near constant praise she received felt unearned, and were unable to relate to her. The fact she also took away from the Mills and Crane pairing also didn’t help.

Thanks, here is the second version. I made a few minor tweaks as well, but its mostly the same.

  • Badass Decay: The Headless Horseman, during Season One he was the walking embodiment of Nightmare Fuel, an unstoppable killing machine with a passion for decapitation. Their first attempts at character development while humanising somewhat, kept the terror in check, as he had to possess someone to communicate. The Reveal he used to be human, if anything, made him more nightmarish. He spends most of season two pinning after and being manipulated by Katrina. This was due in part to a shift of focus away from Ichabod and Abbie’s relationship and already popular characters onto other less popular and more controversial ones without them receiving any Character Development to balance it out. The second half became even worse. Killing Moloch gave what had been (up to that point) the series plot an unsatisfying conclusion, the remainder of the season lost direction, with the writers forced randomly introduced new antagonists who never lasted longer than one episode. This completely destroyed the series sense of urgency and faith there was an overall plan, causing many fans to lose interest. The disjointed nature of the Penultimate episode and the season finale did little to help.
    • Season Three: The first half of season three was regarded as something of a return to form, with a stronger storyline and a new villain, Pandora. However the second half proved to be worse, with Pandora being reduced from the mastermind to her husband’s submissive (not to mention abused) follower. The Hidden One was underwhelming, with him doing little more than sitting around and whining about his loss of power. So I got suspended a month ago. Looking back I wish I gotten the chance to at least update the Happy Happy Clover and fix a few grammar issues for some of the tropes I added and a bit for the Yo-Kai Watch character page (Mainly the Komasan section).

  • For You Tube users, Germany is a particularly bad example as a sizable chunk of You Tube videos are not available there due to a dispute with GEMA. Neo-Nazi videos also tend to be geo-blocked from Germany.

Maya the Bee

(Needs to be moved to the Trivia Page) Edited for Syndication: The Japanese and Arabic version of the anime had longer scenes such as the Queen's arrival at the Hive where Maya and Willy are wearing chef hats and when Miss Casandra is injured and before Maya leaves the hive she says goodbye to her teacher and starts to cry. These scenes aren't present in the other versions of the anime.

  • When the CGI reboot airs on Tiny POP in the UK, some scenes are cut out for time constraints. The scenes left out are usually small and unimportant. The opening is also cut down slightly and leaves out the scene of Maya watching the moon on a lilypad. The DVD's keep the opening and episodes intact.

The Studio 100 Page also needs to move the examples (Earworm to YMMV, and Cash-Cow Franchise to the Trivia Page)

Adding new words for Darker and Edgier page for video game section.

  • Speaking of Touhou's side material, Touhou – ZUN's Music Collection is not only darker, but also more cynical than the core series. Not to mention, some stages themes and character themes in these compilations having a much moodier tone. Especially Dolls in Pseudo Paradise which is regarded as the darkest story ever told in the series, complete with gruesome deaths and further examination of what happens to those who get spirited away to Gensokyo.
