Inspired by this thread, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

Yeah that Dork Age entry needs to go. Its next book shoehorning a personal opinion and trying to pass it off as an entire fandom's response.

DeviantArt's drinking game page has some noticeable complaining, such as this entry: "Drink the entire can if you see the works of user MikeEddyAdmirer89." ...and they are about specific users, which means that should they be taken out?
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work makes Jack a mere boyYeah, those entries concerning specific users are asking for trouble. I'm all for axing those. Anyone else?
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI agree, nuke the Take Thats targeting specific DA users. TVT isn't for troper vendettas with other people.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI also removed the following which also seem to be targeting specific users:
- Take a shot if you see ShineShine Quacks.
- Take two shots if she's using her trademark Vore ability from her eating Vore Bread.
- Take at least two shots if you see the HILARIOUSLY awful Dippersnek, obviously designed to create 5 Nights at Freddy's Mary Sues, with a donation goal of a whopping ONE BILLION points.
As well as trimming part of this entry, since AFAIK there's just one user known for having a big knee fetish, so this can be seen as targeting them:
- Take a shot if you see giant tits, giant butts, giant tits AND giant butts, or giant knees.
That is good that they are removed, also because this process of documenting specific users like this, especially in a subjective manner, is an unwieldy waste of space and will bloat the page too easily.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work makes Jack a mere boyMary Sue is Flame Bait, so its presence there is problematic on its own.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I've zapped a few examples off of Perplexing Plurals for being Complaining About Plurals You Don't Like:
- Plural forms in Arabic are highly irregular. Rather than simply adding a suffix to the singular form like English, a majority of Arabic nouns become plural by changing their internal form entirely. Attempts to quantify the Arabic system of "broken plurals" (as they are called) into a teachable system produces dozens of distinct patterns. In other words, practically speaking, it's almost random. While not too much of a problem for native speakers, even Arabs will sometimes be at a loss what the plural form is of a more-rarely-used word.
- The Welsh language has 30 to 40 regular ways of forming plurals, depending on how you count, and no way of accurately predicting which one to use, as well as irregular plurals on top of all that. So, basically, all plurals are irregular and have to be learned with the singular.
I've also zapped another example:
- Xenoblade has nearly every race use the same word for their singlar and plural forms. For instace, the singular of Homs is still Homs; while the plurals for the Nopon and High Entia are the same. Only the extinct Giants have their singular form be the more obvious Giant.
because there is no perplexion listed in the example - the game makes it abundantly clear what the plural forms of the ethnicities are.

The examples for real-life languages were unnecessary, and the game-related example about plurals and singulars being the same is odd because that's no different from what the English translations of Pokémon games have been doing for almost two decades, both for the creatures as a whole and individual species.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. One fish, two fish. One sheep, four sheep. A moose, six moose. English has several precedents for the Pokémon pluralization decision.
(fun trivia) In fact, plurals identical to their singulars have been around since... Old English.

I was referring solely to fictional examples, particularly because Pokémon and Xenoblade Chronicles are both Nintendo RPG series, and because these examples are 100% deliberate instead of happening as the result of linguistic evolution. English plurals in real life can be so varied that they might qualify for a plural-related trope, and unlike the removed Perplexing Plurals examples about real-life languages it would be more clearly about what native speakers of a language think of its grammar, instead of what speakers of one language think of another language's grammar.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The Pokemon anime has these examples under Audience-Alienating Premise, but to my knowledge the show is still very popular among kids and adults and the slavery thing is incorrect in the games and anime.
- Pokémon:
- As per the games, the very idea of ripping sentient beings out of their natural habitats and pitting them against other said beings presented ethically. The relationship between Pokemon and their Trainers is presented as "friendship" rather than the sugarcoated form of slavery that it really is.
- The fact that Ash tries to be a Pokémon Master throughout the whole series, and yet is still no closer to that goal now than he was at the start, can prevent many people (particularly older fans) from getting invested in it. That the show is generally more "kiddy" than the games and other adaptations doesn't help.
- The Sun/Moon series completely upheaves the series: now, Ash is in school and not travelling a region, the show is more like a slice-of-life animé than an action-adventure series, and everything — particularly the animation — is Denser and Wackier. And this came after the X/Y series, which had an Animation Bump and ended with a suitably epic climax with Team Flare, making the jump to this series all the more jarring.
- Then there's Pokémon: Genesect and the Legend Awakened. A group of Pokémon created by Team Plasma come into conflict with one of the most popular Pokémon ever and their apparant foil, Mewtwo... only it's not the same one from Pokémon: The First Movie, but a Lighter and Softer, feminine, and hitherto unmentioned second specimen, who ends up thinly copying much of the original's story and tropes. The movie quickly became the most divisive/reviled piece of Pokémon media on that fact alone.
Those examples can be removed since the Pokemon Anime has too many fans to qualify for Audience-Alienating Premise. Audience-Alienating Premise, in general, has a problem of people adding entries for works that don't personally appeal to them even if said work managed to attract a sizeable fandom.

I feel like this example from WhatAnIdiot.Steven Universe is a bit too negative, especially towards the end:
- "The Trial"
- Once you look past the interesting lore revelations, this entire episode is a non-stop parade of idiot ball. To begin, Rose Quartz, or rather Steven Universe under the belief of being Rose Quartz, the most hated, notorious, and dangerous gem criminal in the mind of all Homeworld, is put on trial before the Diamonds.
You'd Expect: There would be extremely tight security at such an event. There should be legions of quartz soldiers and agates guarding the infamous Rose Quartz, armed with Gem destabilizers and a myriad of more deadly equipment, especially given that she's going to be standing within 30 feet of two of the remaining Diamonds, and she's already believed to have killed one. The trial room should be on complete lockdown and armed to the teeth
Alternatively: Rose Quartz should be seriously restrained. She should be bubbled, or caged, or chained down, or held under guard. We know Homeworld has a host of effective gem trapping technologies for keeping gems in line; we would expect them to use maximum security against Rose Quartz.
Or Even: There to be no trial whatsoever. Never in the series have we been given any indication that gems have any sort of rights or legal system, and Homeworld's hatred of Rose Quartz is overwhelming. In such a totalitarian society, you'd think dissidents and rebels would be executed immediately, with no thought of due process.
Instead: None of this happens. There is no security detail whatsoever. Steven is given a state appointed defense attorney, and is not restrained or hindered in way, shape, or form while in court. He's allowed to walk around the room freely with nothing to hold him back. There's literally nothing stopping him from launching an attack at the Diamonds right at that moment if he wanted to.
Then: The Blue Zircon Defense attorney requests that Blue Diamond's palanquin be brought into the trial for an illustration.
You'd Expect: Them not to leave the palanquin unguarded, open and running in the middle of the courtroom
Or at Least: To have some sort of safety mechanism on the vehicle that prevents it from being stolen, like, I don't know, a key.
Instead: Steven and Lars hijack the palanquin with no effort. Right in front of the Diamonds. Apparently anyone can fly the palanquin, even if they have no experience driving so much as a car. And mind you, this after Pearl was shown to be unable to operate Homeworld technology as simple as a door.
It Gets Worse: Right before their escape, Yellow Diamond loses her temper and poofs both Zircons, including the one who was on her side, but doesn't do anything to Steven. That's right; she takes her anger out on her own subjects but not the alleged criminal who the trial was set for, who she very vocally wanted to have shattered or worse. She doesn't even attempt to poof him; even though that would be as easy as literally putting down her thumb.
As a Result: Steven and Lars, who a combination of mechanical hijinks and apparently paper-this bricks used to line the courtroom, drive the palanquin straight to the wall of the building and escape with minimal effort and no bodily harm form what should be the most secure, guarded place in the universe.
And It Gets Even Worse: Yellow Diamond then takes the trouble to use her lightning powers to blast a freaking hole through the side of her own building as Steven and Lars are escaping. Is this to pursue them? To fire a lightning bold parting shot at them as they fall? To hinder their escape in any way? No, she just wants to yell a final taunt at them as they slip out of her grasp, while doing absolutely nothing to stop them.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢The CowboyBebopAtHisComputer. The Nostalgia Critic page is very complainy, nattery, and nitpicky at times while also being weirdly defensive of the original works.
"In his look at Sonic Sat AM, he painted Sally Acorn as a case of Princesses Rule while ignoring that she could not become a Queen because her kingdom was gone and was already taking great responsibility as the Freedom Fighter's field commander and strategist."
"Both the tagline for the review of The Sorcerer's Apprentice and the episode itself mock the idea of Nicolas Cage playing Mickey Mouse. Cage's character is more the closest equivalent to the wizard Yensid, with Jay Baruchel playing the Mickey equivalent."
"He claimed that The Swan Princess "feels like the movie that Enchanted was satirizing" when it was actually meant as a Deconstruction of fairy-tale tropes. Because this aspect wasn't well handled, it is easy seen as playing them painfully straight."
"Someone even made a Cinema Sins style video to point out all the errors he made with the The Jungle Book (2016) review."
"During his review of The Road to El Dorado, he claims that the point of the movie is to have animated characters act like live-action characters. The real point of the movie is explained on its main page."
The Protomen enhanced my life.It sounded desperate to complain when it was a Critical Research Failure page (especially the long intro at the top) and it sounds the same now.
Zap anything that complains about the Nostalgia Critic's opinions (rather than objectively wrong information), including those bullets you've posted.

It's hard to keep it all straight but I tried.
The Protomen enhanced my life.So I've started to think that Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has an issue with villain-whitewashing. If you're unfamiliar with the show, it's rather controversial for having a large Designated Hero problem, with the heroes beating the tar out of suspects for doing things that while squicky aren't technically illegal and such - thing is, some of the entries on the YMMV page extend sympathy to actual villains, such as murderous pedophile Jake Berlin. Several entries have even been removed for downplaying the villains' actions to the point of inaccuracy (check the history) but there's several more still up as well.
Oh joy. Which entries there are the most problematic that are still there.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Jake Berlin's under Strawman Has a Point, the guy that screwed his own daughter under Unintentionally Sympathetic, and a few from Unintentionally Unsympathetic, particularly the one calling a rape victim a "media whore," stand out to me.
YMMV.Four Kids Entertainment was recreated a few days ago by ~SM G4fan after being cut at least once for being a complaining fest. Please advise.
Why do we have Macekre, again?
The YMMV page is probably a Permanent Red Link Club candidate considering it's been cut before.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
I think the Pokemon fandom is too divided on what the series' high points and low points are for the series to have a clear Dork Age. Every generation has a good number of both fans and detractors.
