  • Iron Man: After being captured by terrorists following a missile demonstration in Afghanistan, multi-billionaire Kagura Mutsuki uses his brilliant intellect to devise a powered armor to escape. Being an irresponsible, wealthy playboy before, he (literally) has a change of heart regarding his company policies and dedicates himself to cleaning up Stark Industries' patented weapons and taking care of the terrorist group that got their hands on them. To do so, he builds an even better suit of armor. However, not everyone in his company likes the new direction he's chosen.
  • The Incredible Hulk (2008): The story takes place five years after the tragic accident which created the Hulk, glimpses of which are seen in the opening credits. Souji Tendo has taken refuge in Brazil as a worker at a bottling plant, where he keeps a low profile and works on controlling his anger in his spare time. When Souji accidentally spills blood into one of the bottles, a man falls ill from Gamma poisoning by drinking it, which is the clue General Ross uses to track Tendo down. Along for the ride is Kisame Hoshigaki, who is destined to become one of the Hulk's deadliest foes: the Abomination.
  • Iron Man 2: Several months after the events of Iron Man, the film deals with the consequences of Kagura Mutsuki outing himself as Iron Man and becoming the world's newest defender. His first major issue is congressional hearings about sharing his tech, with rival (and perpetually second-place to Maes) industrialist Justin Hammer standing the most to gain. Despite their best efforts, Mars is untouchable: unbeatable in conferences and unstoppable as Iron Man. But his invincibility is tested by Ivan Vanko/Whiplash, a man with a grudge against the Stark empire who is more than capable of challenging Kagura's genius, as Kagura is also dealing with a slowly fatal medical condition resulting from his arc reactor implant. Vice also features in a supporting role and Lt. Col Jabu suits up as his alter-ego War Machine.
  • Thor: After being betrayed by his foster brother Makoto Itou, All Might has to learn a lesson about humility and at the same time, stop him from invading other worlds. Quinella is his Love Interest and her assistant is Kobayashi.
  • Captain America: The First Avenger: Kyosuke Kousaka becomes a Super-Soldier. Nazi leader Mr. Big is the Big Bad. Yugito Nii serves as the resident Action Girl and Love Interest.
  • The Avengers: Puss in Boots brings together a superhero team consisting of Kyosuke Kousaka, Kagura Mutsuki, All Might, Ryofu Tallgeese and others to stop Kyokin and his alien army from conquering humanity.
  • Iron Man 3: When an enemy from the past targets that which industrialist Kagura Mutsuki holds most dear, he must rely on his ingenuity to protect those closest to him. Still haunted by the events from the Battle of Manhattan, he must confront challenges from not only this old adversary but from himself as well, and finally answer a question which has plagued him from the beginning: Is he the one who defines the Iron Man suit? Or is it the suit that defines him?
  • Thor: The Dark World: All Might has to stop the leader of the Dark Elves from getting the Aether and uses it to conquer the universe alongside Quinella and Kakyoin.
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier: Kyosuke has to face off against his own friend, Steve, who got Brainwashed and Crazy by the remnants of HYDRA.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (2014): Don Draper teams up with Finn the Human, Vernon Dursley, Maugrim, and the Big Bad Wolf when he discovers a powerful MacGuffin that's being sought after by Death Seeker Liquid Snake and Grand Doma. Ramba Ral does a cameo out there.
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron: Following the collapse of S.H.I.E.L.D. and re-emergence of HYDRA in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Kagura Mutsuki reassembles The Avengers to take charge of world security. Realizing the Avengers can't respond to every threat, Makes also revives a long-discarded peacekeeping program called Ultron, an Artificial Intelligence based on Kagura himself leading an army of Iron Man drones to maintain world peace. But Mark McKenzie evolves beyond his creator's programming and decides the only way to save the world from future threats is to eliminate the status quo and those who protect it, starting with the Avengers. With McKenzie wreaking havoc, the team sets off to destroy the rogue AI, encountering new heroes (and villains) along the way.
  • Ant-Man: Its story follows Dr.Kenzo Tenma, a recently-released burglar who is struggling to make an honest living when he is recruited by retired inventor Itakagi Kinoshita and his daughter Live-Action Kurumi Saiki for One Last Job: steal Kinoshita's research from his former company, before it can be abused by the firm's new owner Roy Mustang. To accomplish this, Kinoshita outfits Tenma with the "Ant-Man" suit, a piece of technology with the ability to both increase the wearer's strength and shrink them down to the size of an ant.
  • Captain America: Civil War: After Steve is framed, Kyosuke was forced to face off against Axel, his own teammate.
  • Doctor Strange: Revolver Ocelot is a brilliant but extremely arrogant doctor who becomes crippled and in spite of a lifetime of logical thinking resorts to supernatural means to get his health back, even seeking the guidance of Midori Azuma and her disciple Sebastian Michaelis and he will be confronted to Kakashi in an epic duel with the fate of the world in his hands.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Two months after the defeat of the villainous Gazef Stronoff, the Guardians of the Galaxy—which consist of Don "Star-Lord" Draper, Finn the Human, Vernon Dursley, Walter.W Wolf, and Maugrim —are riding high on their newfound notoriety, selling their services as heroes for hire. Unfortunately, when they take a job for a race called the Sovereign in exchange for their captive, Finn's sister Emily , the Guardians end up angering their easily-offended clients and get put on the Sovereign's hitlist. Now the Guardians are on the run from the Sovereign and the team's old Space Pirate enemies/allies, the Ravagers, who have mutinied against their boss Duke Nukem for his softness on his former apprentice Don, and are now leading the Sovereign's manhunt. And just to complicate matters, Don's Disappeared Dad Bui has resurfaced, along with Anna Ozaki, a protégée of his own.
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming: Bruce Wayne enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe to fight the new (for film) enemy Gouken, and also Archer, but still has to deal with high school; fortunately he's got his loving Aunt Carolina.
  • Thor: Ragnarok: All Might has to stop Ragnarok from his sister, Madam Mumblechook alongside Kakyoin (again), Horigome-sensei, and Asada Shino/Sinon.
  • Black Panther: Tatsumi Aragaki's heritage as the King of Wakanda is challenged by his cousin Mifune, whose aim is to free Wakanda from isolation, but to start another war with those who oppressed his own people.
  • Avengers: Infinity War: After years of planning behind the scenes, Galactic Conqueror Liquid Snake at last comes to the forefront and begins to assemble the six Infinity Stones into the Infinity Gauntlet — an Artifact of Doom with the power to make its wearer omnipotent — in order to enact his plan to save the Universe for generations by eliminating half of all sentient life in an instant. Now the heroes of Earth and the galaxy at large must unite, before untold trillions are killed with the snap of Souther's gold-plated fingers.
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: The film once again follows Reformed Criminal and part-time Avengers ally, Dr. Kenzo Tenma / the incredible shrinking Ant-Man or at least he was, until he once again became a criminal for his decision to side with Kyosuke Kousaka. Now, he's just hoping to not break probation and spend some time with his daughter. However, Kenzo is soon pulled into an urgent new mission by his now fugitive mentor, Itagaki Kinoshita — the original Ant-Man — and Kinoshita's daughter Live-Action Kurumi Saiki, who's taken on the mantle of The Wasp, previously held by her mother Julia, to save Julia from her decades-long entrapment in the beyond-microscopic Quantum Realm. But first, the group has to get through a black market tech dealer named Sonny Burch and an intangible thief known as Lacus Clyne, who both want the pieces of tech our heroes need for their rescue for themselves.
  • Captain Marvel: Vanessa has to stop Benitora, a shape-shifting alien, from invading earth alongside Puss in Boots. it was revealed to be a ruse by her mentor, Yoshikage Kira and they team up with Benitora to stop him from destroying earth.
    • Cross Ange version: Ange has to stop Embryo, a shape-shifting alien, from invading earth.
    • Naruto version: Hinata has to stop Iruka, a shape-shifting alien, from invading earth. it was revealed to be a ruse by her mentor, 4th Hokage and they team up with Iruka to stop him from destroying earth.
  • Avengers: Endgame: After the cataclysmic events of Liquid Snake's victory, half of the universe's sentient life is gone, and the completed Infinity Gauntlet has disappeared with the Mad Titan to a faraway world. The surviving heroes from The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, meanwhile, are left to pick up the pieces of a shattered universe. However, following the arrival of a few new allies, Earth's mightiest heroes discover a means that may allow them to undo Liquid Snake's genocide, and bring back the friends and family lost. And so, along with said allies, the original six Avengers embark on one last mission together to set the world right, whatever it takes.
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home: Set eight months after the events of Endgame as the world recovers from the actions of Liquid Snake, Far From Home follows Bruce Wayne — better known as the crime-fighting hero Spider-Man — on a European class trip, hoping to catch a break from superheroics following the death of his former mentor Kagura Mutsuki, when he's unexpectedly forced into yet another colossal conflict, this time against interdimensional entities known as the Elementals. Aside from receiving backup help from Puss in Boots and a resurgent S.H.I.E.L.D., Bruce also gains the help of an unexpected ally: a man with supernatural abilities who goes by the name of Kukri. Kukri turned out to be The Big Bad.
  • Black Widow (2021): Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, its story follows Michiko Daimon, a.k.a. Black Widow, still on the run for helping Kyosuke Kousaka's team, as she's summoned back to Budapest by Cyx, her former "sister" from the Red Room, the mysterious Russian program that trained them, who needs Michiko's help in freeing their fellow Black Widows from the control of the Red Room's commander, General Dreykov. Along the way, as they reunite with their other "family" members, former Soviet superhero Solid Snake/Red Guardian, and fellow seasoned spy Bayonetta, they must also contend with Dreykov's ultimate weapon, the deadly operative known as Taskmaster.
  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: Akari Hizamaru, a skilled Chinese martial artist who's tried to create a normal life for himself in San Francisco. He finds himself forced to confront his past once his father Hit - the mythical basis of Aldrich Killian's "Mandarin" persona - tries to draw him back into his criminal organization, the Ten Rings, named after the magical combat artifacts he owns.
  • Eternals: For over 7,000 years, a group of ageless superpowered beings known as the Eternals, sent to Earth by the powerful cosmic deities known as the Celestials, have secretly been assisting humanity throughout their history while defending them from their evil counterparts, a monstrous race known as the Deviants, never directly intervening in any major conflicts unless the Deviants were involved. Centuries after the Eternals' mission to defeat them seemingly ended, Deviants have reappeared in the present day. With the Avengers seemingly disbanded, the ten Eternals Yuri Watanabe, Shino Aburame, Anpanman, Fernando, Makkari, Soul Eater Evans, Sailor Venus, Lu Bu, Gintoki Sakata and Angrboda must reunite in order to defend the planet from their ancient enemy… all while an event known as "the Emergence" is set to happen in only seven days.
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home: But when the spell goes horribly wrong, Bruce Wayne and Revolver Ocelot must contend with a multiversal crisis as an entourage of supervillains who faced off with other Spider-Men appear, putting his own universe at risk. Bruce learns that must come to terms about what it really means to be both Spider-Man and the man behind the mask, as he debates whether or not he can really save everyone — including his enemies. Bruce also learns that other versions of himself Keiichi Naruse and Kyo Kusanagi have made their way to his universe, and it becomes clear that only together can they stop the sinister visitors from wreaking havoc.
  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: After his botched attempt to restore Bruce Wayne secret identity nearly resulted in a massive multiversal crisis, Revolver Ocelot must now prevent another one as he faces a new threat in the form of Casca, who's been unable to cope with the loss of the children she materialized when she altered the reality of Westview and wants to be reunited with them at all cost. As the Scarlet Witch, Casca recklessly uses spells from the witchcraft book known as the Darkhold, which has the effect of corrupting her mind, and she's after Nezuko Kamado, a teenage girl who has the power to open portals to other parts of the Multiverse. It's up to Ocelot to protect Nezuko and prevent Casca from becoming a multiversal threat.
  • Thor: Love and Thunder: Following the events of Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame, All Might has left the people of Asgard relocated to Earth in the hands of their newly christened king, Sinon, and joined up with the Guardians on their galactic adventures. However, after finding his heart just isn't in it anymore, Thor decides to retire from superheroics and set off on a Journey to Find Oneself with Horigome across worlds, realms, and mythologies instead— a plan that is soon complicated by the threat of a God Butcher named Dio Brando, and the revelation that his ex-girlfriend, Quinella, has gained the powers of his mighty hammer Mjölnir.
  • Werewolf by Night: The plot concerns a gathering of monster hunters at Bloodstone Castle, who all partake in a deadly monster hunt in order to claim the elusive Bloodstone relic. However, there is a deadly monster hiding amongst the group, and it's up to legendary monster hunter Japan to stop this suspicious hunt before things go out of control...or rather, out of his control. Katsuragi also arrives to compete for the Bloodstone.
  • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: In the wake of King Tatsumi's death, Queen Xander, Yoshino Ikoma, Pah-chin, Maria Ross and the Dora Milaje must pull together to defend Wakanda from a new threat Hisoka from beneath the seas.
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: The film again follows official Avenger Dr. Kenzo Tenma who, alongside his partner Kurumi is reaping the benefits of saving the universe at large. But, discontent to rest on their laurels for long, Kenzo's daughter, Hu Tao creates a device which functions as a communicator with / portal to the Quantum Realm. But things quickly go awry when the device activates, dragging Kenzo, Kurumi, Hu Tao, Itakagi Kinoshita, and Julia into the Quantum Realm. Now trapped in a mysterious, dangerous realm, the family must confront Julia's mysterious past, as well as face their greatest adversary yet: Fukurokuju, who, if released from this prison, could wreak untold destruction upon the Multiverse.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: The Guardians are still in mourning from the loss of their universe's Finn, and struggling to connect to her alternate 2014 Variant (who instead joined the Ravagers). Despite this, the Guardians have settled fully into their roles as the galaxy's protectors from their new home base of Knowhere, which they have transformed into a refuge for outcasts and people down on their luck. However, this new status quo is shaken by the arrival of a new threat — the Sovereign superweapon, Olaf, who pushes the Guardians of the Galaxy to the breaking point in an initial confrontation that leaves Wolf grievously injured in a way where he cannot be healed thanks to a copyright-locked bomb in Wolf's cybernetic body. Racing against the clock, the Guardians discover that they can save their friend if they can infiltrate OrgoCorp, a bioengineering company that has the key to saving Wolf's life. While hooked up to medical devices, Wolf's origins are explored in full, unveiling his backstory and explaining how his traumatic past created the person that he is. It's revealed that he was uplifted by Roronoa Zoro, who also runs OrgoCorp and created the Sovereigns, in pursuit of creating a perfect society by any means necessary. The High Evolutionary then seeks Wolf for his own sinister designs, as he's dissatisfied with the way that the world is and seeks to recreate it in his image. The Guardians must now rally to face what could very well be their greatest challenge — and the last one that they will do together.

  • WandaVision: Set in the immediate aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, Casca finds herself in an alternate reality in which her lover Kankuro is inexplicably alive once more. The two are soon Happily Married as they adjust to a new life seemingly devoid of superheroics in the idyllic, sitcom-esque town of Westview, New Jersey... but something's not right. It quickly becomes apparent that things are not as they seem in their Stepford Suburbia, and as new problems arise while S.W.O.R.D. agents attempt to make their way into the neighborhood, the two eventually discover something disturbing at the heart of their new life....
  • The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Set six months after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the series follows Ludaas Friegen and Steve on a worldwide adventure that puts their abilities to the test after Ludaas initially declines taking up the mantle and shield of Captain America.
  • Loki: Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the series follows the Alternate Universe Kyokin who escaped with the Tesseract/Space Stone after the Battle of New York. He gets arrested, then forcibly recruited, by the Time Variance Authority, an organization that exists outside of the flow of time and is dedicated to preserving the Sacred Timeline, to help them stop another version of himself that's been antagonizing and massacring their agents, who could potentially threaten reality itself if left unchecked. If that sounds a little confusing, don't worry: Kyokin's just as confused. But he's determined to turn this to his advantage.
  • Hawkeye: It's the most wonderful time of the year, and Ken Matsushiro just wants to spend the holidays with his family after the grueling events of Avengers: Endgame. However, after the enemies Ken made during his five-year stint as the vigilante Ronin resurface in New York, Ken must team up with the young archer Anya Forger to deal with them, all while ensuring that he makes it home in time for Christmas.
  • Moon Knight: Kanji Tatsumi is not okay. Suffering from insomnia and hallucinations, it's difficult for him to find the boundary between his waking life and his dreams. After receiving a call from someone who knows him by another name, Kanji finds the already tenuous threads of his reality begin to unravel. It turns out that in another life, he was Toki, a mercenary whose identity seems to be resurfacing. Bestowed powers by the Egyptian God of the Moon, Khonshu , Kanji and Toki must embrace the chaos within, get to grips with their rapidly disintegrating mind, and confront a cult led by the enigmatic Arthur Harrow.
  • Ms. Marvel (2022): The series centers on Shimakk, an Ordinary High-School Student and major fangirl of the Avengers… especially Vanessa, AKA Captain Marvel. Her life changes forever when she gets strange powers of her own.
  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: Cure March is an attorney and Alastor is an abomination.
  • Secret Invasion: Puss in Boots returns to Earth from deep space at the behest of Lara Croft to aid in a dire situation: a rogue faction of the shape-shifting Skrulls have infiltrated all aspects of life on the planet.
