The plot concerns a gathering of monster hunters at Bloodstone Castle, who all partake in a deadly monster hunt in order to claim the elusive Bloodstone relic. However, there is a deadly monster hiding amongst the group, and it's up to legendary monster hunter [[Webcomic/HetaliaAxisPower Japan]] to stop this suspicious hunt before things go out of control...or rather, out of his control. [[VideoGame/SenranKagura Katsuragi]] also arrives to compete for the Bloodstone.

Racing against the clock, the Guardians discover that they can save their friend if they can infiltrate [=OrgoCorp=], a bioengineering company that has the key to saving Wolf's life. While hooked up to medical devices, Wolf's origins are explored in full, unveiling his backstory and explaining how his traumatic past created the person that he is. It's revealed that he was uplifted by [[Manga/OnePiece Roronoa Zoro]], who also runs [=OrgoCorp=] and created the Sovereigns, in pursuit of creating a perfect society by any means necessary. The High Evolutionary then seeks Wolf for his own sinister designs, as he's dissatisfied with the way that the world is and seeks to recreate it in his image. The Guardians must now rally to face what could very well be their greatest challenge — and the last one that they will do together.
