    The Sea Witch
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sea_witch_9872.png
"I'm the Sea Witch of the Tropical Lands and if I tell you to shoo it's because you gotta shoo!"

The last living member of the Bizargar race, the Sea Witch is a sorceress cursed with being hunted by Lympharians every time she develops a friendship with someone. Originally hostile because of it, recent events have caused her to warm up once more.

    Clothovera Moirai

"Company...I've not had company in...months."

A half-human, half-Wood Elf witch-in-training, Clothovera is one of the few survivors of a witch clan who once lived in the Empire of Man. After losing her family to human forces and Lympharians, she became a wanderer alongside her familiar Nyakik. Extremely shy and with little experience with her magic, all she wants is someone who accepts her.

  • A Day in the Limelight: Clothovera is the heroine of the story Training the Witch, centered around her training under the Sea Witch in-between Inferno Rises and The Golden Necropolis.
  • All Witches Have Cats: Her familiar, Nyakik, is a cat-like creature.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: Despite being a dark magic user and coming from a family of dark witches, Clothovera is determinated to use her powers for benevolent reasons only.
  • Black Magic: As a dark witch, she uses Dark Source magic.
  • Covert Pervert: Formerly a lot, but it has been toned down as her character was built. She keeps it to herself, but she has been shown lusting over many things, including even Kinmorunddraver's muscles.
T-this man...he's making me feel things I don't usually feel around men.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: She delivered one to an Exosubstratal army during Cherish the Twilight, where she killed not only all the mutants, but also their leader Qhomthell, without breaking a sweat.
  • Curse: One of her main abilities with dark magic is cursing others. As shown in Training the Witch, her curses range from forcing her opponents to dance for her to make their heads spin uncontrollably.
  • Cute Witch: Subverted. In-universe, she's average-looking at best.
  • Damsel in Distress: During Dawning of Distaste.
  • Exhausted Eye Bags: She's described to have them.
  • Expy: Of Tomoko Kuroki.
  • Future Badass: As seen in Cherish the Twilight, Clothovera is slated to one day become the most powerful witch in Koldenwelt and become the Arch-Mage of the Dryadali Sovereign.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Half-human, half-Wood Elf.
  • Happily Married: To Hachi in Cherish the Twilight.
  • Humble Hero: As shown in the finale of Training the Witch, Clothovera does not mind fame or rewards for acts of heroism, and is content with just doing the right thing.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends: Type B. Clothovera is very, very lonely.
  • No Social Skills: Trying to talk to anyone often ends with her stuttering and freezing in place.
  • Shrinking Violet
  • Tome of Eldritch Lore: Alhazred, her talking book from where she casts her magic and hexes.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Angering her causes this. When Minoqamius kidnapped her during Dawning of Distaste she refused to leave the Kamehebi Fortress before killing her captor. This caused her relationship to Hachi to crumble as he finally saw her bad side.
  • Tsundere: Type A toward Hachi. She really does still care for him. Nyakik can clearly see it.

    Nyakik
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nyakik_2327.png
"Hmpf. So be it. Call the waitress, I want milk."

Clothovera's magical familiar, Nyakik is a cat-like creature with a very bossy attitude. Despite this, she is still fiercely loyal to Clothovera and acts as her protector when she's in trouble.

The Lagosi

    Hachitao Yiachaakangan

"It feels like school all over again, except with strange enemies rather than harsh whip beatings."

A young Lagosi warrior who was exiled from his home land of the Kame Isles for not informing the island's government about his encounter with the dreaded Crystalbane, Hachi is an enthusiast, somewhat perverted and benevolent young man who wants to return to his people.

  • Curse: Like the Sea Witch, Kanna is cursed with Furor's Eye, a curse which attracts Lympharians to the cursed one whenever he develops relationships.
  • Deadpan Snarker: One of the most sarcastic characters in the setting, to the point other characters simply ignore him when he talks.
  • Playing with Fire: He also has power over pyromancy.
  • Righteous Rabbit: Downplayed. He's not the nicest Lagosi ever.
  • Revenge: His main motivation.
  • Samurai: He is more or less one, and his weapons of choice are a pair of katanas.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Earath.

  • Klingon Promotion: Played with. She became Wyvernlady after she killed the former Wyvernlord. However, she didn't do it for the promotion, she did it because he was a murderous vampire in disguise.
  • Meaningful Name: Her surname is Aerember, a portmanteau of aero and ember. She is a fire elf whose greatest passion is flying on top of a fire-breathing Wyvern.
  • Our Elves Are Different: She's an Erylia Elf, a race of elves gifted with natural fire powers.

The ghost of a cursed human warrior who is capable of manifesting a physical body, Norrigan is an extremely jolly knight who wishes to lift himself of his curse, so he may finally rest in peace.

  • Ambiguously Gay: Somewhat effeminate and flamboyant, but he has never explicity appeared gay. It's possible that it's just a side effect of his already quirky nature, and he may actually be a Celibate Hero.

  • Knight in Shining Armor: One of the few in the setting, surprisingly.

  • Our Ghosts Are Different: Norrigan died over 50 years ago, but due to his curse, he's trapped in the world of the living as a spirit. While he can use a physical copy of his old body to interact with the world, killing said body does nothing but cause Norrigan to be sent back to the original place of his death.
  • Shock and Awe: He wields lighting magic, which allows him to hurl thunderbolts at his enemies.
  • Super-Strength: Despite not appearing so, Norrigan is much stronger than any normal human. And despite being armored at all times, he has no problem leaping high into the air.
