This is a list of female wrestlers currently on the All Elite Wrestling roster.

Riho

A Joshi Idol who began wrestling in 2006 in Ice Ribbon at the ripe age of nine. She's since become one of the most well respected Joshi wrestlers in the world, and won in a shocker against Nyla Rose to become the first-ever AEW Women's Champion.
  • Book Ends: She beats Nyla Rose to become the inaugural Women's Champion. Three guesses who ended her reign.
  • Badass Adorable: She's absolutely tiny, wears frilly wrestling gear, and has a lovely smile. She was also AEW's inaugural Women's Champion, defeating the much larger Nyla Rose to win the belt.
  • Child Prodigy: She's began wrestling when she was nine and has been competing against industry veterans before she was a teenager.
  • Determinator: She's easily one of the smallest members of the AEW women's roster, but she's been in more kinds of matches than nearly everyone else in the company while part of several joshi and independent Japanese promotions, and has been wrestling people several times her size since she was in grade school. As Nyla Rose learned, she will not go down easily.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: She initially had regular conflicts with Jamie Hayter when the latter was a Heel. However, the two began to grow a respect for each other, both helping save the other during altercations with The Outcasts. After Hayter defeated Riho to defend her title in April 2023, she sincerely congratulates Riho for the match.
  • Fragile Speedster: Her waifish body build does not do her favors when it comes to strength and resistance, but once she gets moving, it's very hard to catch her.
  • Kid-Appeal Character: One of the youngest and smallest women in the roster and also the Token Wholesome.
  • Light Is Good: Wears white, and one of the friendliest people with an adorable smile.
  • Little Miss Badass: She's not afraid of anyone; she fought MINORU SUZUKI when she was 12, and lived to tell the tale.
  • Pink Is Feminine: Her frilly wrestling gear has pink accents.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Only 5'1", but has proven to be one of the most skilled female wrestlers in AEW.
  • Red Baron: "The Little Monster".
  • Surpassed the Teacher: She has already defeated her mentor Emi Sakura as well as her sempai Hikaru Shida.
  • Token Wholesome: She has the most family-friendly gimmick in the entire company.
  • Weak, but Skilled: An industry veteran in spite of only being 22, and one of the smallest women in the promotion, she has a very attuned and flexible wrestling style that allows her to overcome her physical limitations.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Billed as being from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (but is actually a native of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania - yes, as in Groundhog Day), Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. cut her teeth on the independent scene and will gladly knock her opponent's down their throat. Speaking of teeth, she also happens to be a fully-licensed, practicing dentist. See her own page for more details.

Penelope Ford

  • Arch-Enemy: She, together with The Bunny, made enemies of Anna Jay and Tay Melo during 2021.
  • Cool Shades: Part of her entrances but removes them during the match.
  • Hell-Bent for Leather: She wears a nice leather jacket to the ring.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Her wrestling gear is one of the more revealing ones in the roster and her entire gimmick is basically her being "the hot chick".
  • Odd Friendship: She made one with Allie after the AEW All Out 2021 Casino Battle Royale.
  • Official Couple: Formerly with Joey Janela, now with Kip Sabian. She and Sabian got married in 2021.

Nyla Rose

A First Nations bruiser with strength and ferocity to spare. She is notable for being both the first wrestler of indigenous descent in AEW and the first transgender wrestler ever to sign with a major promotion.
  • And All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt: After Nyla destroys a jobber, her manager Vickie Guerrero often enters the ring to drape one of Nyla's merchandise shirts, emblazoned with "I SURVIVED NYLA ...AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS T-SHIRT" over their face as a mocking consolation prize.
  • Arch-Enemy: Riho shaped up to be a big thorn in her side during 2019. She had been also developing a fierce enmity with Shanna, who fought her behind the scenes more than once.
  • Bloody Handprint: Her personal symbol is a bloody handprint, usually seen in her breechcloth and in her titantron. According to Nyla, it has multiple meanings, the most obvious being that it is a Native symbol for someone with hand-to-hand battle prowess, while another is a reference to the massive number of missing Native women on American reserves, as well as a Shout-Out to "The Dark Brotherhood" from The Elder Scrolls (whose symbol is also a bloody handprint).
  • Deadpan Snarker: Cocky as hell on the mic and on Twitter, because, c'mon, who's gonna stop her?
  • Dick Dastardly Stops to Cheat: She has a tendency to go for brutal and illegal Heel tactics even when it does not benefit her, such as giving her opponent time to recover while she sets up a table.
  • Finishing Move: "The Beast Bomb" (sitout powerbomb)
  • Hated by All: After she became AEW Women's Champion, it soon became clear nobody on the roster was particularly enthused at the prospect.
  • The Juggernaut: Ran through AEW's full-time roster in a battle royal by being both larger and way stronger.
  • Red Baron: "The Native Beast"
  • Marked to Die: Not literally, but she has a thing with licking her own palm and attacking people with it (or licking her own palm after attacking people) to signify that person is "marked" to be beaten to a pulp by her. This likely relates to the Bloody Handprint symbol she often uses. Notably, Nyla did this after driving Riho through a table and announcing she'd be fighting her.
  • Mighty Glacier: She's not as slow as some wrestling examples, but Rose tends to be lacking in speed but is provided with terrifying strength and resistance. The commentary team often points out that the ideal tactic to beat her would be exploiting her comparatively slow movement.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: The Native Beast and when she was on the independent circuit, The American Kaiju.
  • Twofer Token Minority: Transwoman AND First Nations wrestler, notable for being the first ever in a major wrestling promotion, as well as the first world champion of those groups in a major promotion.
  • Sore Loser: Cannot fathom losing in any shape and form. Every time she has lost, she has attacked her opponent post-match. The exception was upon losing in the Women's Tag Team Championship Cup tournament, where she attacked her partner, Ariane Andrew, instead for getting pinned.
  • Wrestling Monster: Big, powerful and unstoppable, Nyla is a constant threat to the entire AEW women's division.

Marina Shafir

  • The Dragon: To Nyla Rose. Marina is her right-hand woman and gives her assistance to Nyla whenever she can.
  • Red Baron: "The Problem"

Hikaru Shida

An Ice-Ribbon, OZ Academy and Pro-Wrestling WAVE veteran who is best known for her elaborate ninja costumes and vicious performances in intergender matches. See her own page for more details.

Emi Sakura

A Ring veteran from 1995 from the IWA Japan promotion and for Ice Ribbon. She is notable for having trained several of the women on the roster (including the then-champions Riho and Hikaru Shida), and for promoting women's wrestling in southeast Asia for two different companies.
  • Badass Teacher: An industry veteran who trained several of the women on the roster, including the inaugural champion.
  • Commuting on a Bus: Because Sakura wrestles in Japan, Thailand and the Philippines, she rarely appears in AEW.
  • Old Master: In her mid-40s and showing no signs of retiring, Emi Sakura is also responsible for training half of the joshi on the roster.
  • Requisite Royal Regalia: Her second outfit since returning to AEW involves a royal crown and cape. She even has Lulu Pencil accompany her as a personal butler.
  • Ring Oldies: She's still wrestling in her mid-40s.
  • Shout-Out: Her theme song and her first ring outfit is a giant reference to Freddie Mercury.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: A guest wrestler who can take credit for the training of two AEW Women's Champions, one of which also being the inaugural one.
  • Student–Master Team: She teamed up with her students Riho and Hikaru Shida on different occasions.

Kris Statlander

An alien from the Andromeda galaxy who came to earth to Wrestle. She appeared to devastating effect, getting a surprise win over Hikaru Shida.
  • Affectionate Gesture to the Head: The first time she and The Best Friends accompanied Orange Cassidy to the ring for a match the two men gave him a fist bump, Kris gave him her signature “boop” on the nose. This has always been a habit of hers, also booping referees and opponents.
  • Defeating the Undefeatable:
    • Delivered Jade Cargill her first ever loss at Double Or Nothing 2023, albeit after Jade was already exhausted from facing Taya Valkyrie immediately before. Later during the September 15, 2023 episode of Rampage, Kris had a rematch against Jade, once again defeating her, resulting in her being the first person to defeat Jade Cargill clean.
    • Later defeated Julia Hart at WrestleDream 2023, Julia having been on an undefeated streak prior since joining House of Black.
  • Finishing Move: "Wednesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday Night Fever" (tombstone piledriver variant)
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Her makeup when she returned from her injury implies she has green skin underneath her human skin.
  • Honorary True Companion: A close companion to The Best Friends, even joining in on their group hug.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: After getting blindsided by Leyla Hirsch's betrayal, she's dropped her goofy alien girl persona for a seemingly darker, more aggressive persona that utilizes her raw power.
  • Put on a Bus: Taken out by a serious injury (a torn ACL) during a tag match on Dynamite, and has been on the shelf for over half a year.
    • The Bus Came Back: Made her return during the "Arcade Anarchy" match between Chuck Taylor/Orange Cassidy and Kib Sabian/Miro to help the good guys by dealing with an interfering Penelope Ford, before officially joining the trio.
  • There Is No Kill Like Overkill: To make sure that Julia Hart would stay down at the end of their match at WrestleDream 2023, Kris hit her with a Piledriver, then followed immediatly by a Package Tombstone Piledriver before finally pinning Julia. This worked so well that Julia had to be taken out of the ring and carried on his back backstage by Brody King.

Yuka Sakazaki

A Tokyo Joshi Pro wrestler who is a genie from a magical country.

Anna Jay

"The Star of the Show", Anna came into AEW full of eagerness to make her mark, but after her momentum was cut short by a shocking encounter with the horrific Abadon, she fell under the sway of The Dark Order, becoming their first female recruit. She would later join the Jericho Appreciation Society at Fyter Fest 2022.
  • Arch-Enemy: Along with her best friend Tay Melo, they feuded with The Bunny and Penelope Ford throughout 2021. And later Ruby Soho later joined with Willow Nightingale in 2022.
  • Character Catchphrase: She got one in 2023:
"I got a fat ass and a bad attitude!"
  • Cool Mask: Unlike the full head-covering masks worn by the male Dark Order recruits, Anna wore an elegant Masquerade Ball-like mask decorated with purple sequins around her eyes.
  • Crack Defeat: After an impressive debut in a losing effort against champion Hikaru Shida, Anna was looking to become a star in AEW, with an extensive character vignette played about her before her second match, which made everyone assume she was heading for an easy, position-building win. Her second match turned out to be against Abadon, who brutally squashed her in minutes, leaving her shocked, shaken, and vulnerable to the temptations of Brodie Lee and The Dark Order.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Appeared in Wardlow's very first vignette, long before she was actually signed.
  • Expy: Her original look was very Zatanna-esque.
  • Face–Heel Turn: After being tempted by Tay to look for more opportunities, Anna gave a call to Chris Jericho and aligned herself with The Jericho Appreciation Society. Her first act was to help Jericho during his Barbed Wire Everywhere Deathmatch with Eddie Kingston at AEW Fyter Fest 2022.
  • Fag Hag: Outside the ring, she's known to be very close with Sonny Kiss.
  • Finishing Move: "The Queenslayer" (rear-naked choke)
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Tay Melo through the Women's Tag Team Tournament.
  • In-Series Nickname: Upon joining The Jericho Appreciation Society, Anna appropriated the faction's name to her own as "Anna Jay A.S."
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's known for flaunting her good looks, and her ring gear often includes tight pants or low-cut shorts that tend to accentuate her butt. Lampshaded by her Character Catchphrase ("I got a fat ass and a bad attitude!").
  • Nice Girl: Since turning face with the rest of The Dark Order, she became one of the most consistently heroic wrestlers on the women's roster (regularly teaming up with Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa, Ruby Soho, and numerous other fellow faces). If a female wrestler was being targeted by the underhanded tactics of a Heel, Anna came to her defense. However, this is no longer the case after AEW Fyter Fest 2022 because of Anna turning heel to help the Jericho Appreciation Society.
  • Official Couple: She and Jungle Boy announced that they were dating (in real life, that is) in June 2021.
  • Power Stable: Formerly part of The Dark Order, now part of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
  • Red Baron: "The Star of the Show"; once she began feuding with Brandi Rhodes, Anna switched to calling herself "The Queenslayer" after she choked Brandi out during a Dark Order beatdown on her husband Cody, and later beat her in a match.
  • Smash Sisters: With Tay Melo.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Initially the only woman in The Dark Order, although they soon approached Tay Melo after she tagged with Anna to moderate success in the Women's Tag Team Cup tournament, who seemed receptive.
  • Tag Team: Was paired with Tay Melo for the Woman's Tag Team Tournament.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: After joining the JAS, Anna gained a penchant of choking out someone with the Queenslayer on the notion that the offending party doesn't believe she's enough of a sports entertainer.
  • We Used to Be Friends: With Tay Melo; after a good two years of being tag-team partners, the two of them had a falling-out in 2022 after Tay's Face–Heel Turn until she made her own heel turn against Ruby Soho, which reinforced her friendship with Tay.

Abadon

The Living Dead Girl who hails from the Black Hills, Abadon has made theirnote  mark on AEW and is always searching for souls to consume.
  • Always Someone Better: For a long time they only had two losses in their AEW career, both to Hikaru Shida. They were eventually defeated by Britt Baker as well, but Baker was forced to resort to a surprise roll-up to get the win after everything else in her arsenal was unable to stop Abadon.
  • The Dreaded: Their opponents, the commentators, even Hikaru Shida is creeped out by them.
  • Finishing Move: "The Cemetery Drive"
  • Man Bites Man: As befitting a ghoulish fighter; when Britt Baker tried to use the Lockjaw on them, Abadon simply grabbed Britt's gloved hand and started chewing on it.
  • Mark of the Supernatural: As part of her ghoulishness, they have one red eye and one pale blue eye.
  • No-Sell: Much like The Undertaker, they can sit up after taking a vicious beating; even getting wedged between a steel chair and getting stomped on it by Britt Baker wasn't enough to put Abadon down.
  • Ominous Visual Glitch: The cameras use a jarring filter to evoke this image.
  • Parts Unknown: Billed from the "Black Hills", but no one knows where its exact lacation is.
  • Red Baron: "The Living Dead Girl".
  • The Speechless: They scream, but they do not speak although when they do, it's short one-worded screams similar to Death Metal singers. Once they started to enter a program with Julia Hart in late 2023, Abadon's first words were put on AEW TV.
Abadon: Julia....Julia! Soon enough the heart stops beating!
  • Shout-Out: Abadon's Halloween outfit in their October 2023 Collision match against Hikaru Shida is based on the titular character from Spawn.
  • Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl: Complete with crawling onto the stage.
  • Talking with Signs: During their interview with Lexy Nair on the premiere episode of AEW Outside the Ring, Abadon communicated answers to some of Lexy's questions by scrawling single words onto a hand-held whiteboard.
  • Wrestling Monster: The most literal example in the entire AEW roster.

Tay Melo

Former NXT superstar that made her AEW debut during the Women's Tag Tournament.
  • Arch-Enemy: She and her best friend Anna Jay had a feud with The Bunny and Penelope Ford throughout 2021. Later with Ruby Soho and her friend Willow Nightingale
  • Badass Adorable: She's very nice and friendly but knows Jiu-Jitsu.
  • Cool Big Sis: They’re not actually related, but this is the kind of relationship that she has with Negative 1.
  • Cuddle Bug: Very VERY affectionate. Nobody seems to mind in the least.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Became this with Anna Jay during the Women's Tag Tournament.
  • Finishing Move: "The DDTay" and "TayKO"
  • Genki Girl: Often arrives to the ring dancing and bursting with energy.
  • Honorary True Companion: To The Dark Order through Anna Jay. Negative 1 sometimes accompanies her to the ring.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She's blonde and, until her Face–Heel Turn, was one of the nicest girls in AEW.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Her ring gear definitely emphasizes her beauty.
  • Nom de Mom: After marrying Sammy Guevara in real life, she changed her ring name from Tay Conti (the surname of her first husband) to Tay Melo (her maternal family name outside kayfabe).note
  • Official Couple: With Sammy Guevara (her Real Life husband).
  • Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: Apparently, WWE was hesitant to release her, believing she would head straight for AEW. She had no plans of doing so because she had no contacts there, but she wouldn't be let go. When her two years were up, she headed to AEW.
  • Smash Sisters: With Anna Jay, until Tay's Face–Heel Turn. Reformed again after Anna's Face–Heel Turn
  • Waif-Fu: Has a slim build, but her experience in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is integral to her wrestling style. She uses this to great effect against Nyla Rose.
  • We Used to Be Friends: She abruptly stopped appearing with her longtime Anna Jay after she and Sammy Guevara emerged as a power couple, leading to speculation that the two had drifted apart. This was confirmed when Tay taunted an injured Anna following her match with Serena Deeb. Subverted a week later when Anna Jay turned heel and aligned herself with the JAS.

Red Velvet

  • Always Someone Better: Never beat Jade Cargill in 3 tries. She got closer each time, but Jade always overpowered Velvet and pinned her in the end.
  • Defeat Means Friendship: Has become a part of Jade's "The Baddies" posse in 2022 despite always losing to her. Later subverted when she left the posse in 2023, fed up of Jade's treatment of her during their tag team match against Skye Blue and Kiera Hogan.
  • Jobber: Was pretty definitively everyone's punching bag in 2020, to the point where she was basically guaranteed to lose to whoever she faced. Changed drastically in 2021.
  • Lady in Red: Her ring gear is mostly red with black accents, evoking the cake she's named after.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Former dancer, extremely flexible, and loves to wear outfits that accentuate all of this.
  • Parts Unknown: "Straight out of your mama's kitchen."
  • Red Is Heroic: Again it's in her name and her outfit. She's been a face the majority of her time in the company, with the exception of her time as a Baddie.
  • Student–Master Team: She and her mentor Cody Rhodes memorably teamed up in an intergender tag-team match with Jade Cargill and Shaquille O'Neal (yes, you read that right).
  • Sweet Tooth: As her name suggests, her gimmick leans into dessert and bakery puns.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Took a huge step in her career by stepping up and challenging Jade Cargill, even though Jade is twice her size. Even though she lost that match, she made huge waves and acquitted herself very well in the biggest match of her career. This led to her being signed in March 2021.

Skye Blue

A former-independent wrestler before making her AEW debut in April 2021, Skye Blue became All Elite over the Easter weekend of 2023.
  • Butt-Monkey: Prior to June 2023, she lost every major match she was in for years and tended to be targeted for beatdowns and humiliations after said defeats. In the AEW All Out 2021 Casino Battle Royale, she was the very first person to be eliminated.
  • The Dragon: After fully embracing the Black Mist and completing her Face–Heel Turn, Skye Blue became Julia Hart's right-hand woman.
  • Face–Heel Turn: After months of signs of being corrupted by the Black Mist, Skye Blue finally completed her turn on the December 16th 2023 episode of Collision, joining forces with Julia Hart and ganging up on Abadon alongside her.
  • Finishing Move: "Code Blue", where she runs towards her opponent and leaps onto their back before delivering a sunset flip powerbomb.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Is only 5'2", and is capable of taking and inflicting a ton of punishment.
  • The Worf Effect: She proved herself to be a skilled wrestler on Dark and Elevation, as well as on fellow promotion Ring of Honor, but in Dynamite and Rampage, she lost every match she had for years.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Even before her Face–Heel Turn, Skye Blue became notably less cheery and more hostile after being sprayed by the Black Mist from Julia Hart. In addition to having fits of needless aggression, she coldly rejected Kris Statlander's congratulations after losing against her, acted completely ungrateful when Kris saved her from a beatdown at the hands of The Outcasts, and attempted to dissuade Willow from accepting Kris' handshake after the former lost to her at Battle of the Belts VIII.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone:
    • Finally got a victory on Rampage in a four way match against Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and Mercedes Martinez in June 2023 to determine who would face AEW Women's Champion Toni Storm the next week on Dynamite.
    • After being defeated and humiliated multiple times by The Outcasts, she, alongside Willow Nightingale, finally defeated Toni Storm and Ruby Soho on the premiere episode of Collision. For the cherry on top, it was in Skye Blue's home city, Chicago.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Skye used to be good friends with Willow Nightingale, her friendship with Willow even causing her to briefly refuse Julia Hart's offer to join forces with her despite being corrupted by the Black Mist. But by the time Skye fully gave in and joined forces with Julia, she was more than comfortable throwing away her friendship with Willow, attempting to attack her when Willow interfered with their attack on Kris Statlander.

Diamante

A Cuban wrestler and one half of the tag team that won the AEW Women's Tag Team Cup.
  • Arch-Enemy: She formed one, in a rivalry with Big Swole.
  • Bang, Bang, BANG: Her entrance music incorporates gunshots, of which she typically cocks an arm like she’s firing them off, herself.

Serena Deeb

A well-traveled veteran of the industry who signed with AEW.

Rebel

Former member of TNA's The Menagerie, she is now employed as Dr. Britt Baker's personal assistant.
  • Beleaguered Assistant: It's very apparent that she doesn't enjoy being Britt's assistant. When a wheelchair-bound Britt briefly fires her for leaving her side, thus allowing Big Swole to drop her in a dumpster, Rebel's first instinct is to ask if that means she's free.
  • Game-Breaking Injury: Her rotten luck of injuring her leg both in kayfabe and for real has become a part of her character to the point where her insignia is a pair of crutches.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Britt Baker insists on calling her Reba, even when the rest of the company refers to her as Rebel. She even got AEW to bill her on posters as "Rebel (not Reba)", but Britt refuses to take the hint.
  • Token Good Teammate: Actually quite good natured, despite being a heel and allied with Britt Baker.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Following the Heel Face Turns of Britt and Jamie, Rebel has vanished without a trace with no word about her whereabouts.
  • Yes-Man: Britt only seems to keep her around for her flattery than her wrestling skill.

Leila Grey

  • The Dragon: To Jade Cargill after being defeated by her and subsequently recruited by Stokely Hathaway, becoming the most loyal member of The Baddies despite Jade initially wanting nothing to do with her.
  • Put on a Bus: Has not appeared on AEW television since Jade Cargill's departure.

Leyla Hirsch

  • Husky Russkie: Double Subversion in that she's the shortest wrestler on the roster, but uses a style that emphasizes strength and technique over speed. Plus, she's Russian, to boot.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Leyla is tiny for a wrestler (even shorter than Riho at only 150 cm tall, just under 5 feet) but is very strong for her size.
  • Red Baron: "Legit" Leyla Hirsch.

Thunder Rosa

The former NWA Women's Champion and one of its mainstays, she's made several challenges to the AEW Women's Championship while defending NWA. On July 22, 2021 it was announced she was officially All Elite.
  • Absurdly Youthful Mother: Gave birth to her son when she was only 19 years old.
  • Arch-Enemy: Britt Baker, which led to their bloody Unsanctioned Lights Out match at AEW St. Patrick's Day Slam 2021.
  • Calacas: The facepaint she wears in her matches is designed to resemble this.
  • Guest Fighter: She debuted in AEW on August 22, 2020 but wasn't officially signed until almost a year later.
  • She's Back: After being off the shelf from injuries, she returned on December 16, 2023, to aid Abadon during an attack by Julia Hart and Skye Blue.
  • Portmanteau: "ThunderStorm" with Toni Storm in tag team matches.
  • Red Baron: "La Mera Mera"
  • This Means Warpaint: She goes into matches with half of her face painted with a Calacas design.
  • Two-Faced: Her facepaint covers exactly half of her face.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Was angered when Deonna Purrazzo got involved in her match with Toni Storm at AEW Dynasty 2024, even though Deonna only did so to prevent Mariah from cheating in Toni's favor. This resulted in the already boiling tensions between the two to explode, leading them to finally wrestle against each other on April 27th, 2024.

Jamie Hayter

A former wrestler from World Wonder Ring ST★RDOM, Jamie Hayter made her AEW debut on October 23rd, 2019. After being absent for over a year, Jamie returned on the debut episode of Rampage on August 13th, 2021, where she officially became All Elite.
  • The Bus Came Back: Showed up in the early days of the promotion before disappearing for more than a year, only to return with a vengeance and a completely new look during the debut episode of Rampage on August 13, 2021.
  • The Dragon: Serves as this to Britt Baker as a Heel; upon turning Face, Jamie transitioned into The Lancer as a growing part of a group of women who stand against The Outcasts.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: As a Heel, she regularly feuded with Riho alongside Britt Baker. However, the two began to form a mutual respect for each other, both helping save the other from attacks by The Outcasts. After defeating Riho to defend her title in April 2023, she sincerely congratulated Riho for the match.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Both she and Britt Baker turned Face in response to Saraya and Toni Storm turning Heel.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She is quite pretty, and her ring shorts are very small.
  • Shout-Out: Her hair color combination of brunette with blonde parts is an homage to Rogue.
  • Signature Move: "Hayterade" (Ripcord lariat)
  • We Used to Be Friends: Used to be roommates and best friends with Toni Storm. However, the friendship fell apart upon Jamie Hayter's return to AEW, when she allied up with Britt Baker.
  • Worf Had the Flu: Toni Storm defeated her at AEW Double or Nothing 2023 for the AEW Women's Championship with little trouble due to Hayter having a heavily injured arm from a previous match with The Outcasts, which was made even worse when Ruby Soho and Saraya attacked Jamie before the match started, specifically targeting her injured arm.

Ruby Soho

Formerly "Heidi Lovelace", then "Ruby Riott" of The Riott Squad, Ruby Soho's career has taken her through SHIMMER, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, CHIKARA, and WWE NXT. She became All Elite during AEW All Out 2021 as the "Joker" in the women's Casino Battle Royale and winning it.
  • The Dog Bites Back: She turned on Saraya, abandoning her during a tag team match against Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale, after Saraya attempted to manipulate her and sabotage her relationship with Angelo Parker.
  • Finishing Move: "Destination Unknown" (converted swing over faceplant)
  • Face–Heel Turn: Betrayed the Heel Face Turning Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter at AEW Revolution 2023, revealing herself as the third member of The Outcasts with Saraya and Toni Storm.
  • Red Baron: "The Runaway"
  • Ship Tease: With Angelo Parker, the two flirting multiple times in backstage promos, and Angelo even staring at Ruby's butt as she walked away at one point.
  • Signature Move: "No Future" (wind-up overhead kick)

Kiera Hogan

  • Guest Fighter: After leaving Impact (with her on-screen "death" at the hands of Su Yung as her send-off scene) she wrestled 3 matches in AEWnote , all of which she lost. She also made 2 appearances for the N.W.A after thisnote , before getting her first win against Blair Onyx on an episode of Dark Elevation, and following an appearance in the Women's Casino Battle Royale match at AEW All Out she was announced as having signed to the company (albeit she didn't have an "All Elite" graphic) during her next appearance on Dark (where she defeated Leila Grey).

Mercedes Martinez

  • Early-Bird Cameo: She was part of the Women's Casino Battle Royale all the way back at AEW All Out 2019, over two years before officially signing with AEW.
  • Hired Guns: She was brought back into AEW full-time by Britt Baker in the hopes that Mercedes could "take out" Thunder Rosa, who was steadily rising up the women's rankings for a shot at Britt's then-world title.

Paige VanZant

Previously appearing as a guest of American Top Team during 2021, Paige signed an AEW contract after AEW Revolution 2022.

Toni Storm - AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPION

Making her debut at the end of March 2022, Toni Storm was the surprise entrant signed to AEW, taking part in the qualifying round for the women's tournament of the Owen Hart Memorial Cup.
  • Arch-Enemy: Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter; exemplified when she became Saraya's first recruit into The Outcasts and continuously targeted the two.
  • Character Catchphrase: "Chin up, tits out, and watch for the shoe!"
  • Continuity Nod: In an interview with RJ City after losing to Saraya at the 2023 edition of Dynamite Grand Slam, Toni mentions how the wrestling business can be a "cruel mistress" - that she misses "the old days" - a happier, simpler time, including "slap(ping) a pie in someone's face". This is a reference to the infamous pie spot where Toni was the recipient to this by Charlotte Flair at the WWE back in 2021.
  • Deliberately Monochrome: As part of her Hollywood-inspired Timeless gimmick, Toni's entrances and pre-taped segments are done in black and white, with the exception of her lips in bright red.
  • Finishing Move: "Storm Zero" (Pile-driver)
  • Portmanteau: "ThunderStorm" with Thunder Rosa in tag team matches.
  • The Prima Donna: Mixed with White-Dwarf Starlet, Toni's new persona that she's adopted following her second championship reign has shades of this, what with her elevated arrogance and Heel delusion that she's still relevant, even though she's no longer a champion. That she may look sweet and innocent during interviews, until it slowly unravels her true personality, is typical of this trope.
  • Red Baron: "Timeless" Toni Storm, a new monniker she's adopted after the inaugural AEW WrestleDream.
  • Running Gag: After being dethroned by Hikaru Shida at Dynamite 200 for the AEW Women's Championship, Toni began to take her frustrations out on interviewers such as Renee Paquette and Lexi Nair by throwing a shoe from off-screen at them post-interview.
  • Sanity Slippage: As interviews with Toni continued in her second post-AEW Women's Championship run, her incoherent rants and shoe-throwing antics really started to take a toll on her mind.
  • Shout-Out: Toni's change in attitude and personality into The Prima Donna/White-Dwarf Starlet, as well as her ever-changing hair-style, after losing the AEW Women's Championship to Shida, is reminiscent of Norma Desmond and her descent into madness/paranoia mixed with a touch of Gloria Swanson (who portrayed Norma), Marilyn Monroe and the general aesthetics of The Golden Age of Hollywood. She even used one of Norma's Signature Line, "I'm ready for my close up", during a promo, which adds to her loss of reality.
  • You Wanna Get Sued?: Lampshaded; when Toni announced the first ever "Toni Awards" in the build-up to AEW Revolution 2024, she had to mention it contains the letter "i" so as to avoid a trademark with the other similarly-sounding Tony Awards.

Athena - ROH WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPION

Previously known as "Ember Moon", Athena entered the promotion during AEW Double or Nothing 2022.

Saraya

Appearing in the 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam after the Interim Women's World Championship match, the wrestler formerly known as "Paige" became All Elite.

Willow Nightingale - AEW TBS CHAMPION

Hailing from Ring of Honor, Willow Nightingale made her AEW debut on Dark in January 2022 and occasionally appeared on AEW programming throughout the year. She officially became All Elite on the October 21, 2022 episode of Rampage, and was the inaugural Strong Women's Champion of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
  • Afro Asskicker: Wears her hair in either an afro or buns.
  • The Anti-Nihilist: Her personal motto as shown on her entrance video is "Nothing Matters, Smile Anyway".
  • Badass Adorable: Willow is extremely sweet natured and often dances awkwardly to her entrance music, but she's surprisingly powerful and capable in the ring.
  • Big Fun: She's a Genki Girl with a stout build compared to the rest of the women's roster.
  • Finishing Move: "Babe With The Powerbomb" (Gutwrench Powerbomb)
  • Foe-Tossing Charge: One of her signature moves is "The Pounce" which on one notable occasion sent Jamie Hayter sliding out the ring to the floor.
  • Good Is Not Soft: Despite her genki nature, Willow isn't shy from being dangerous and ruthless as she's been in the most street fights of any woman in the AEW roster.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: She was hit by Julia Hart's black mist in an attempt to recruit her into the House of Black, but, other than being a bit more aggressive for a few weeks, she resisted the mist's power because she's just that kind hearted.
  • Morality Pet: Became this for Skye Blue after the latter got sprayed by corrupting mist from Julia Hart. Willow's the only one who Skye shows anything remotely close to affection towards. Subverted after Skye completed her Face–Heel Turn however, Skye being more than willing to try and attack Willow when the latter interfered with her and Julia's attack on Kris Statlander.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Her main color scheme is purple and she's proven to be a powerhouse of a wrestler.
  • Shout-Out: In her last promo on Collision before the inaugural AEW Dynasty, Willow proclaimed she would beat Julia Hart for the TBS Championship and "take her back to the Shadow Realm".
  • We Used to Be Friends:
    • She used to get along well with Ruby Soho, the two having teamed up together before in the past and Ruby even defending her from Saraya and Toni Storm after the latter beat her. After Ruby's Face–Heel Turn by joining The Outcasts, Willow tried to talk down Ruby from spray painting Skye Blue after beating her. Ruby rejected Willow's offer and beat her up alongside Saraya and Toni Storm, allowing Willow to be spray painted as well.
    • Similarly, Willow was also good friends with Skye Blue before the latter was corrupted by Julia Hart. While Skye resisted initially and maintained the friendship with Willow for a while, when the latter officially joined forces with Julia, she was more than comfortable throwing away her friendship with Willow, attempting to attack her when Willow tried to stop the two from beating up Kris Statlander.

Taya Valkyrie

Having the longest reigns as Impact Knockouts Championship and AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, Taya Valkyrie became All Elite on AEW Dynamite on March 15, 2023 to challenge Jade Cargill for her TBS Championship.
  • Arch-Enemy: Made herself this to Jade Cargill pretty much immediately after it was revealed she became All Elite. She regularly provoked Jade after matches, whether she was getting up in her face, or using the "Road to Valhalla" right in front of her despite Jade insisting that the finisher belonged to her.
  • Finishing Move: "Road to Valhalla", a chicken wing face buster. Commentary mentions that Jade Cargill used the same finisher but called "Jaded" in the latter's case.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She made it clear how unhappy she was that Kris Statlander defeated Jade Cargill to become TBS Champion instead of her, especially since Taya went through the effort of weakening Jade before Kris took the victory.
  • Red Baron: "La Wera Loca"
  • Worf Had the Flu: Nearly defeated Jade Cargill during their match in April 2023, but due to a special condition setup by Jade, Taya was unable to use her Finishing Move or else she'd be disqualified. When Aubrey Edwards reminded Taya of that when she was about to finish off Jade with it, Jade defeated the distracted Taya with a surprise roll up.

Julia Hart

Originally debuting as a perky cheerleader and wrestler for The Varsity Blondes, Julia Hart became the newest (and only female) member of "The House of Black", courtesy of a corrupting mist from Malakai Black.
  • Berserk Button: Upon joining The House of Black, she does not tolerate it when people touch her hat.
  • The Cutie: Perky, constantly smiling and absolutely adorable - plus, a decent wrestler, too.
  • Corrupt the Cutie: Ever since she was hit by the Black Mist from Malakai Black, Julia has been shedding her initial sweet side for a more outwardy vicious persona.
  • The Corrupter: Attempted to become this to Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale by spraying them with the Black Mist, just as Malakai Black did to her, though she only succeeded with Skye who eventually joined her side while Willow only became a bit more aggressive for a time before reverting to her usual perky self.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: As ruthless and vicious as she has become after being misted by Malakai Black and joining The House of Black, she does genuinely cares for her fellow members of the house, and seems to truly care for Skye Blue after the latter joined her, having helped Skye get up and even hugged her after Skye got beaten by Thunder Rosa and Anna Jay in the tag-team matches they have participated to together.
  • Eye Scream: Malakai Black sprayed Black Mist into her eyes to provoke The Varsity Blondes. Her agonised screaming made for a disturbingly convincing sell (apparently it made her kid sister cry when she saw it).
  • Eyepatch of Power: Wore one as a result of getting hit with The Black Mist. The "power" part came in her new aggressive streak that seemed to have manifested thanks to the attack. Averted after joining The House of Black as she no longer needs to hide the corruption.
  • Face–Heel Turn: A gradual, but noticable one ever since getting hit with The Black Mist - she went from sweet cheerleader to sour delinquent. The turn would be complete at AEW Double or Nothing 2022 by joining The House of Black as its fourth member.
  • Finishing Move: "Hartless" (variation of the sugar hold submission)
  • Hell Is That Noise: Her screams of pain after being attacked by Malakai Black.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She was a blonde former cheerleader and was very nice and sweet, but Subverted when she joined The House of Black.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Of her fellow members of the House of Black, she's closest with the hulking Brody King, with the two often accompanying each other to the ring, and Brody having done some promo for her and even helped her in several matches.
  • Pom-Pom Girl: She was a former cheerleader and dressed like one until her Face–Heel Turn. Even then, Julia wears a black version of her Varsity Blondes costume in her match against Valentina Rossi on AEW Dark, her first match since joining The House of Black, though she eventually shed the cheerleader look completely.
  • Red Baron: "Princess of the Black Throne"
  • Throat-Slitting Gesture: Before being attacked by Malakai, her entrance would include her pointing to her name printed on her top and moving her hand back and forth several times, some time after the attack she started only moving her hand once, then making a sharp slashing motion across her neck in the opposite direction.
  • Two Guys and a Girl: The girl accompanying The Varsity Blondes. This would be increased to three guys upon joining The House of Black.
  • Villainous Friendship: With her fellow members of the House of Black, though she seems to be particularly close to Brody King, as well as with Skye Blue after Skye turned heel and joined her.
  • We Used to Be Friends: With Anna Jay; after Anna gets a dose of the Black Mist from Julia, the animosity between them became a full-blown feud, leading to a no-holds barred match on Dynamite in May 2023.

Billie Starkz - ROH WOMEN'S WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION

Formerly a top independent star who had experience in Game Changer Wrestling, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and MLW, Billie Starkz began working on AEW Dark in December 2022. Despite not having an All Elite graphic, Starkz confirmed her official status with the promotion days after participating in AEW WrestleDream.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Although Nick Wayne is technically the youngest member of the AEW roster, Billie isn't far behind, only 7 months older than Nick, making her the youngest female wrestler in the promotion.
  • Minion with an F in Evil: Zigzagged; while she was taken under Athena's wing, Billie remained as kind and bubbly as ever and refused to cheat in matches, much to Athena's annoyance. However, in order to win the inaugural ROH Women's World Television Championship against Queen Aminata at Supercard of Honor 2024, Billie feigned a neck injury in the middle of the match, catching her opponent off guard and won by submission.
  • Teen Genius: She made her professional debut a couple of months before her 14th birthday—years before she could legally do so in her home state of Kentuckynote . Arguably qualifies outside the ring as well; she was a high school valedictorian while enrolled in the rigorous International Baccalaureate program.

Mariah May

A former wrestler from World Wonder Ring ST★RDOM, Mariah May became All Elite on November 8th, 2023, quickly becoming an ally of Toni Storm's. Due to needing to have her American wrestling license approved, Mariah May waited until January 3rd 2024 before having her debut match where she defeated Queen Aminata.
  • Co-Dragons: Became this alongside Luther to "Timeless" Toni Storm. Mariah regularly helps Toni cheat in matches, as well as assisting her whenever Toni gets into skirmishes outside the ring.
  • Fangirl: Is a massive fan of Toni Storm, and was ecstatic when RJ said that he'd introduce the two.
  • Finishing Move: "Mayday" (Samoan Driver)
  • Red Baron: "The Glamor"

Deonna Purrazo

A five-time women's world champion throughout various promotions, Deonna Purrazzo made her AEW debut on May 4th 2022, defending her Ring of Honor Women's World Championship title against Mercedes Martinez, only to be defeated by the latter. Deonna officially became All Elite on January 3rd, 2024, where she declared her intentions to challenge Toni Storm for her AEW Women's World Championship title.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Upon losing to Thunder Rosa and realizing the audience vastly favored Rosa over her, Deonna attacking Rosa from behind as a result of her loss, turning Heel in the process.
  • Finishing Move: "Venus de Milo" (Scissored armbar)
  • Red Baron: "The Virtuosa"
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Was not happy when Thunder Rosa saved her from an attack by Toni Storm after Mariah May after Deonna defeated the latter, believing Rosa upstaged her moment. This contributed to the already boiling tensions between the two.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Used to be best friends with Toni Storm years prior to either of them coming to AEW, to the point where they got matching tattoos together. However, after Deonna joined the promotion, Toni's drastic change in personality and Deonna's intentions to take Toni's title as Women's World Champion has led to them becoming bitter enemies.

Queen Aminata

Mercedes Moné

Best known as "Sasha Banks" from the WWE, seven-time women's world champion Mercedes Mone became All Elite at the inaugural ''AEW Big Business" in 2024 in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
  • Continuity Nod: Mercedes' animosity towards Willow Nightingale was readily apparent following her AEW debut due to Mone's ankle injury during her May 2023 match against the latter for the inaugural New Japan Strong Women's Championship that led to a lengthy recovery.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Mercedes was first seen on AEW programming as part of the audience during All In 2023 in London.
  • Foreshadowing: A major hint to Mercedes signing with AEW came with the announcement of ''Big Business", where its promotional image featured the name of the city of Boston, but spelled as "Bo$$ton". During her WWE run, one of Sasha Banks' epitaphs was "The Boss".
  • Red Baron: "The CEO"
