So almost everyone's in agreement to keep Bagura. That's fair; Complete Monster is a YMMV trope, after all. How about I propose a second option: Merging his writeup with his later incarnation Buggler's in the same way we handle other CMs with multiple incarnations in one series (e.g. the Shredders in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003)) rather than treating them like seperate characters.

• Bagura ^{also named}  Buglear/Bagulaa/Bugler/Buglar/Buggler/Bugglar/Burglar/Bagula is the Big Bad of the entire Bomberman franchise, an Omnicidal Maniac, Bomberman's most recurring enemy, and by far his widest-reaching and most vile adversary.
  • Bomberman '94 through Bomberman Hero: Bagura makes his first appearance by splitting Planet Bomber into pieces and attempting to send a comet on a collision course with it after Bomberman puts the planet back together. In Super Bomberman 3, he resurrects the Five Dastardly Bombers and uses them to take over five planets; after Bomberman defeats the Five Dastardly Bombers, Bagura attempts to destroy the planets with his Battleship. Even after he's killed, his resilience allows him to live through a Brain in a Jar. In Bomberman Hero, he is the Man Behind the Man to the Devil Bomber, and possibly the reason for his evil, including brainwashing, as he had him locked away under a planet for being "too unruly".
  • Super Bomberman R: In this reboot of the franchise, Bagura's new incarnation, Buggler, is as bad as ever. Starting off the game by performing a grandiose speech about his plans of taking control of the galaxy while also threatening the lives of all that live there, he is revealed to have brainwashed the Five Dastardly Bombers into being his slaves; forcing them against their will to serve for him, and using them as part of his Giant Mecha in the final battle. He reveals his true plans at the end of the game: Convert the sun into a black hole so that it would inhale the entire solar system, and later the universe. Vicious, manipulative, and sadistic, this new incarnation of the classic villain manages to be even worse than his origin.

What do you think? If we do go through with this, should we also use the name "Buggler" for his main name on the header, as it's his most recent English name?

Okay to this merge.

Before I get to work on splitting the other MK entries, I want to get this out of the way.

So a few weeks ago, the latest installment in the Physical Exorcism Series, Case 03: True Cannibal Boy, came out, and Nya does a bit more stuff in this one.

So Nya's effects on Marty in the previous game, which turned him into an insane Yandere for his girlfriend Sally Sweet, reaches its zenith here due to Marty going out of his way to murder numerous women in order to obtain a new body for Sally, whose entire body was eaten by the spirits of cannibal children.

And what's even crazier is that Jadrienne "Jade" Lee, one of the main exorcists of the series alongside her partner Bruce "Brucie" Lyne, is revealed to be in service to Nya, who enables the exorcist to ruin many peoples' lives for the sake of amusement. Their actions lead to Jade giving in to her sadistic love of making people suffer, which we see primarily in Case 00: The Cannibal Boy and True Cannibal Boy, where she sadistically has innocents killed after manipulating them into trusting her.

It may not be much, but it's still enough for Nya's writeup to be expanded a little.

• Nya, the Goddess of Reincarnation, is a humorous yet wicked sadist who values humans as toys meant for their own personal entertainment. Entrapping the comatose Marty in his own personal fantasy realm, Nya has sapient NPCs killed in order to keep the world in order so they can keep ruling it as a tyrant. Beaten by Marty, Nya reincarnates the defeated Gl'aki into the human realm, enabling her plan to unleash a Zombie Apocalypse by having her infect an entire hospital. Seeking to toy with Marty some more, Nya traps Marty in a "Groundhog Day" Loop where he continuously dies as he's slowly driven to insane, murderous possessiveness over his new girlfriend Sarah "Sally" Sweet. Nya also encourages the exorcist Jadrienne "Jade" Lee to indulge in her sadism by ruining the lives of many innocents.

I went to watch a walkthrought to see Ja-Mu's crimes and do a better write up but...

...I think his affection towards his boss is genuine. Even when Ja-Mu is overdosed with Larsenium/Orgone and is on his KILL KILL KILL!! mood, he is thinking on Al-Van with some fondness.

He is hypocrital for sure, as he is trying to kill Calvina, the woman that his master loved, but its because he blames her for Al-Van's misfortunes.

And when Ja-Mu dies...he gets a pretty unambiguous Alas, Poor Villain, as both Calvina/ Touya (the heroes) and his current new superior Fu-Lu are saddened at his death, where Ja-Mu screams about how he doesn't want to die, with characters commenting that is sad that a young man like him was so indoctrinated that he died like this, with his superior paying respects to Ja-Mu while she is dying.

And honestly...I know this is not relevant to Judgement, but Moon Dwellers, which gives a massive Adaptation Expansion to Judgement characters just outright shows Ja-Mu with 100% clear redeeming traits, showing that Author Intent never was to shown him as a Complete Monster. A rabid bigot and supremacist that gets even worse? Sure, but also with a degree of tragedy as he is both indoctrinated to drug himself into a genocidal mania.

That's also got me thinking that the entries of Shao Kahn, Quan Chi, and Shinnok should also be split between the original and rebooted timelines, like therealjackieboy did for Shang. Would this be a good idea?

Has anyone talked about Saitama one Punch Man yet? Suprised that it has never been brought out, even searched it on tropes and I had not found a discusion pertaining it. I am not very familiar with the series and haven't read/watched it prior, so I cannot provide an EP. Is it because nobody can count there because the villains either have redeeming qualities or just aren't bad enough?

As someone who's read a lot of One Punch Man, I don't think any of the main villains could really qualify? They don't always do that much special or they don't have enough screentime, usually, to qualify, or for ones like Boros or Garou, they have way too many redeeming qualities to make them count.

I like that idea.

Agreed as a fan of that series, most of the antagonists fail the extremely high heinous standards where mass murdering Kill All Humans plots are the norm, closest to come is Psykos but I don't think she counts due to questionable sanity. Do-S from the manga I do wonder about but not sure if she even does enough despite her sadistic personality. So far the only two contenders now is "God" and possibly the Mad Cyborg who are wait and see on my book.

Would anyone mind splitting the entry like this. It seems weird how the write up looks with two separate characters listed together. From a witch shall be born.

  • Constantius the Falcon was selected for his "utter lack of characteristics men call good" by Salome the Witch to overthrow her goodhearted twin sister Taramis, queen of Khauran. After Salome frees Constantius from the dungeons, the two quickly replace Taramis, with Constantius raping and brutalizing the queen for his amusement. Salome's only response is to gleefully tell Constantius to "tame her as he will." Under the ruling hand of the duo, Taramis's kingdom becomes depraved and dissolute. Constantius's soldiers abuse and violate the people at will with any who resist facing death or slavery. When only Conan realizes that "Taramis" is an imposter, Constantius captures him and crucifies him in the desert, leaving him in agony and to be devoured by the vultures while still alive.
  • Queen Salome takes every chance to abuse her captive sister, presenting her with the head of her faithful friend and councilor, and allowing the guards to violate her multiple times. Salome also has a demonic being named Thaug that she uses as a guard dog that she and Constantius round up people as food for. At the end, they even try to feed Taramis to it before unleashing Thaug on the populace when all is lost.

"L-lady Shana! I-I can't believe YOU were the one that betrayed us!! Who'd actually listen to YOU, Lady Shana-Mía? I'm going to crush them with exactly the care they deserve, because of them, Lord Al-Van's been..."

That is Ja Mu when he start his last battle.

Then when he dies, his superior Fu Lu outright mourns him and tells him that she will at least go alongside him to afterlife of their religion

Separation from mira, rewrite of Nya, Shang Tsung, and also support similar separation of Shinnok, Quan Chi and Shao Kahn. Honestly, I still vote for cutting Bagura. There's too little detail and his comet looks more like the site of a final battle rather than a horrific event that's sure to kill a bunch of people. Good catch Shooting Star 7 X!

Honestly, don’t think the Stargate page is needed yet. 8 examples, even if they are scattered across three environments. And speaking of the Bomberman franchise, there's another guy that I think needs to be discussed. I'm not saying it should be cut or left, but feel he still needs to be discussed.

Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden:From Series IV, Dark Koutei, in the form of a giant eye, is the main, and worst, villain of the entire series. One thousand years ago, he and his army attempted to take over a solar system before being locked away by the Big Good; another thousand years later he reemerges. He is a truly Bad Boss: instead of just berating or even firing his minions, he locks them up in strange, inescapable domes, doomed to float around in space for all eternity. There's also the matter of how he procured his son: by kidnapping a child and corrupting him. Koutei manages to be the most despicable villain in Bakugaiden without really trying.

Um, it seems pretty standard overall? Or does the review simply not reveal the depth of his evil? The ONLY thing that makes him stand out is his terrible treatment of his subordinates and dooming them to a horrific fate, but.....is that alone enough? Yes, it has its own continuity, but not sure that the disgusting treatment of the minions is enough. Plus, not sure how much the idea of ​​fate worse than death plays out.

Again, I'm not saying cut he, but saying discuss it. Because from the recording, he seems to be a standard tyrant with one nasty aspect, namely punishing his subordinates, but again, it is not clear how clearly this is portrayed. I couldn't find the EP anywhere. If he is taken into account, then the entry needs to be rewritten.

I've also been doubtful of Dark Koutei's qualification. Leaning cut on him until we have more information.

EDIT: And while we're at it, MA-X also seems questionable.

Here's his effortpost. While MA-X is short on resources and forcing the Kid Hero to kill his best friend is nasty, I don't think it compares to Dr. Mechard's attempted double Colony Drop—which MA-X also seems reliant on merely being complicit in to count for himself. Thoughts?

@ACW: What's this about Jua-Mu's entry? Did you change something or are you asking me to change it? I'm not the one who originally proposed that entry.

I know you didn't originally propose Jua-Mu, but he needs a rewrite (if he in fact still keeps), and you seem to know the work.

@ACW: I think Kazuya Prota makes a good case here. Cut him. And if not, I can't think of which part of original writeup needs an obvious change.

Also, from what I'm seeing, Gu-Landon is currently on the YMMV page of Judgment, but not on the Monsters page for Super Robot Wars.
