Character-Specific Pages (CSPs) are created when individual characters have so many trope examples that they can't reasonably be included on a shared page.
The Administrivia Character-Specific Pages policy details the rules that apply to these pages. All Character-Specific Pages must also follow the basic How to Create a Character Page policy, as well as the wiki's more general policies about spoilers and examples.
This cleanup thread handles the following tasks:
- Reviewing and approving new CSP proposals. All new potential CSPs must be reviewed and, if necessary, cleaned up before they're created.
- Agreeing on page names for new CSPs.
- Ensuring that wicks are updated when a new CSP is created.
- Reviewing existing CSPs if there's a concern that they need cleanup, or if it's believed that the character may no longer qualify for a page.
- Merging existing CSPs into other character pages when necessary.
- Ensuring that wicks are updated when a CSP is removed/merged.
- Creating, updating and cutting redirects, as necessary, to reflect these splits and merges.
Crowners are not normally required but, where appropriate, can be used to formalise decisions on any of these points.
If a character no longer qualifies for a CSP, it's often more practical to turn the CSP into a redirect than to cut the page entirely. This keeps the page history visible to users, and also helps to steer offsite 'inbound' traffic (search engine results) to the right place. With that in mind, cut requests for CSPs may be declined and referred to this thread if they don't have a clear consensus.
Comments linking back to this thread can be added to CSPs when needed - e.g. to confirm their creation was approved, to warn tropers that a cleanup is in progress, or to note the date and outcome of a more recent review.

Mod update 07 Mar 2024, reflecting new CSP policy, updated again 22 Mar 2024 to mention redirects for removed CSPs
- Other options must have been tried first, like splitting pages into further groups.
- The character's folder is cleaned up beforehand, fixing any Zero-Context Examples and Wall of Text entries and removing any outdated, misused, or non-character tropes.
- A character's folder is at least 6,000 words/40,000 characters (with spaces). Here is a byte counter.note
- The current character page bypasses technical limitations and requires a split up.
- A single character takes up the majority of a page or is disproportionately bigger than other folders.
Splitting a character into their own page is a major change and needs to be run by the community before it is enacted. Even if you believe a character meets these requirements, they should be run through this thread first. Having other tropers take a look can help spot issues you may not notice or believe to be issues.
Per How to Create a Character Page, character-specific pages should only include tropes that describe the character. These tropes should fall under Characterization Tropes or one of its related indexes, unless they're recurring character traits (distinctive things that the character does repeatedly). If you're unsure what counts as a character trope, you can ask the Are these Character Tropes? thread.
If you have concerns with a general character page, they have their own separate cleanup thread, as do the self-demonstrating character pages.

You don't have to change the name of the page since the page will still include Pink Diamond in a sense, it'll merely just link to it's CSP instead

Bringing up Genshin again for two other CSP which are not as straightforward as Arlecchino.
- Should I merge Characters.Genshin Impact Zhongli (56,3k bytes) into Characters.Genshin Impact Liyue Harbor (170k bytes)?
- Should I merge Characters.Genshin Impact Xiao (51,8k bytes) into Characters.Genshin Impact Adepti (121.6 k bytes)? The problem here is that Xiao is kind of detached from the rest of the adepti and he's listed in that page under his Yaksha name, Alatus.

EDIT: Just because a character is a "Walking Spoiler" (honestly that trope needs a cleanup thread of it's own) doesn't mean they automatically need their own page.

Bumping from here:
Characters.Persona 5 Strikers page is currently sitting at 303,899 bytes, triggering the page length warning. About 178,922 bytes is taken up by the Jail Monarchs section alone.
I feel it would be appropriate to split the Jail Monarchs into their own page.
The True Culprit folder on the same page takes up 34,514 bytes by itself and moving it to the proposed Jail Monarchs page would make it over 200K, and it doesn't have enough by itself to warrant its own character page, so it likely can stay on the Strikers character page.
On a similar note, Zenkichi Hasegawa and Sophie combined could possibly get their own page, as they are 64,815 bytes combined, but I think they could also stay on the strikers character page without a split.

Faust, Jack O and Asuka seem like they're good to merge back. Idk about Sol and Ky though. The former is the biggest folder and would be most likely to stay as is. All of the characters from Missing Link come together to make ~350k bytes, so it will have to be split no matter what. If you were split between base roster and unlockable roster, that would still leave ~286k, and removing Sol from that puts it at ~215k.

Big City Greens Chip Whistler (52,944 bytes) and Big City Greens Antagonists (31,882 bytes). Not only is this an easy remerge but I am questioning how this was allowed even before the new rules.

Dragon Ball: Zamasu is getting the warning label and it's already exceeded 258k bytes. Fortunately his merged incarnation is approximately 90k bytes, so we can break that off.

I looked into that recently.
Shez has 69k and can be merged back into Other Main Characters, which has 60k. Rhea can also potentially be merged back, but since her page is around 104k, maybe it's too much? The other main chararcters are too big to merge together.
For the secondary characters:
Bernadetta (46k) can be merged back to Black Eagles (141k). Maybe Ferdinand (56k) as well? Hubert, who has the most of the three (58k) can keep his.
Ingrid (48k) can be merged back to Blue Lions (145k), while Felix (73k) can definitely keep his. Sylvain is in a similar boat as Ferdinand where his page is 51k and the BL page is under 250k, but maybe it still will be too much?
Finally, Lysithea 46k can be merged back to the Golden Deer page (176k). Or should every house have at least one page each?
The biggest question revolves around Rhea, Ferdinand and Sylvain (or Bernadetta and Ingrid taking the latter two places). I think it's for the best to let two characters from each house keep their pages. Not only is it near 250k, but even if they were merged back, it would only be a matter of time before those pages reaches the limit so it would be convenient to keep the pages as is.

Characters.Steven Universe Diamond Authority. Pink Diamond (149k) is much longer than the others and a Walking Spoiler, so she might get her CSP. Other three, Yellow (73k), Blue (89k), and White (83k), are relatively short and can be merged. They look close to 250k, but removing duplicated indexes will bring that number down. However, I can't think of a good name to name this potential page; "Diamond Trio"?
