This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

If we have to choose between the two quotes that are already there, the Nightcrawler quote works the best. If we want to change it to a quote from the Quotes page, I think the Lord of War quote would do nicely.
Yuri: Even if they're not men?
Andre: A bullet from a fourteen-year-old is just as effective as one from a forty-year-old. Often more effective.
Yeah, that works. Either of them.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Heyo, I brought up over at ATT that Fire/Ice Duo has the same page quote as Elemental Rivalry:
Firestorm: Heh, a played-out theme, don'tcha think?
Captain Cold: Got a soft spot for the classics.
I was advised to bring it here for potential solutions. Just from glancing at Fire/Ice Duo's quote page I see a different quote that could possibly replace it (that said, I think the quote in question would be better suited for the Elemental Rivalry page instead of FID):
I like the Injustice quote for Fire/Ice Duo, and the Game of Thrones quote for Elemental Rivalry. Is that what you meant?
I have a suggestion for Crapsack Only by Comparison, but I'm worried that it doesn't make enough sense out of context.
King Radical: There is... a lot of bad pizza in this land too.
Ron Wizard: WHY DID YOU BRING ME HERE YOU MONSTER!!!
That's exactly what I meant, sorry if I wasn't clear.
If the GOT quote were to be put on the Elemental Rivalry trope page, would it have to be removed from the Fire/Ice Duo quote page? Or could it stay on both?
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobIt can stay on both. The quote pages don't have anything to do with the page quotes.
Apparently the page quote and image caption for Miracle Star aren't actually from Miracle Star, but instead from The Amazing World of Gumball. Is that alright?

Firstly, it's been 6 weeks since I made this request, and yet, even though the poster below me agreed with it, it hasn't been made. Why is that?
Secondly, I have a new one. The current quotation for Never Bring a Knife to a Fist Fight relies not just upon dialogue but from describing the actions occurring during the same scene. Why not use one where the dialogue speaks for itself? Here's a suggestion:
For the first one, you could have made the change yourself since there had already been some consensus.
For the second one, the new quote suggestion doesn't really indicate the "fist fight" part of the trope.

Can someone explain the quote on Common Knowledge?
Restatement of the trope name.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. But why do we need it? What purpose does it serve?
The idea is that common knowledge is common knowledge. Personally, I'm all for replacing it with something less tautological.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. The quote on Darkest Africa doesn't really illustrate, lacking the mystical and isolated aspects of the trope. It would be more fitting for Bulungi, as it portrays more of the modern stereotype.
I suggest this instead:
- Over weary wastes of veldt and jungle, the drums bring you a story of Africa.Africa, that land of mystery and ritual, ebony bodies, witch doctors, and sudden death.— Intro to Moon Over Africa
The quote in Human Pincushion seem to be talking about something else entirely. The trope has no quote Subpage. Does anyone know a better alternative?
For Abdicate the Throne, I suggest text from Edward VIII's speech about his abdication. Found here: https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Edward_VIII_of_the_United_Kingdom%27s_Abdication
Namely, I suggest the second line and final line, so, it would look like this:
Makes sense.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Yeah, that works.
I have a possible quote for Peace Conference.
Would this work for that trope? Would it need to be shortened?

Do it for science! As much as I love that quote, peace conferences are usually voluntary affairs, so having someone angrily force a bunch of idiots to talk doesn't feel quite right to me.
But if there's no better option, it can work.
Alphabetical Theme Naming's sounds like Alliterative Family. The latter is where all family members of a generation have names with the same letter.
Attina: All of our names start with "A", Aquata.
Deagle Nation has a doozy that's not only from a drama wiki complete with a link but has a slur in it.
Catchphrase Insult's quote is a lampshade. How about this instead?
Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
Child Soldiers has two quotes. I don't much care for either. It has a huge quote sub-page, too.
