Class Zero Vs Organization XIII: Both groups randomly meet in the street, both wearing their mysterious cloaks. Both argue about whose mysterious cloaks are better. Class Zero throws theirs off and Org XIII do a team Dramatic Unmask before blades and spells start flying everywhere. Everywhere.

Addendum: What is the weakest version of Barry that could do that.

Probably CW Barry because he's incapable of remembering how to use his powers at the right time.

CW Barry is the most incompetent Flash in all of existence.

Without his friends to give him pep talks and Iris telling him “No Barry we are the Flash” he’s screwed.

I mean he's also the Flash that has probably been the most successful in years. Some people claim Superman's too strong to be interesting, and while I disagree that statement should count triple for the Flash. He needs something to ground him.

This is not grounding him though, it’s just flat out making him incompetent because they don’t know how to write him and they have too many supporting characters on the show.

At this point the shows only successful causes it’s on the CW so 90% of its audience is comprised of horny teenagers and shippers.

Rubi vs Revy - A deal goes wrong as the two fail to come to terms, or a drinking contest goes sideways when they begin to argue and instantly bring their guns out

Hod vs Rachel - Rachel gets an invitation to the Library and believes it to be another part of the Tower. Once inside, she confronts Hod, the two have a debate on betrayal that leads to Rachel knowing she can't convince her to be an ally, but she needs to see the stars. Cue fight

Yukari vs Yhwach - The Wandenreich start invading Gensokyo, Yukari notices and warps straight to Yhwach's chambers, ready to fight

Maki Aikawa vs Ichiri Sanjou or Nozomi Kaminashi - A simple martial arts tournament set up with any of them making it to the finals and squaring off

Oh shit Maki vs Ichiri would be brutal fun.

... Funny how those two are more "Down to earth" martial arts manga because they lack Ki Attacks and the like but the fights still wind up causing buildings to collapse.

How about we pit Blade against Hellboy or Vampirella?

Aku vs Shendu: Valmont runs down a hallway clutching the Rat Talisman, pursued by moving shadows. He reaches Shendu's statue, already adorned with the other eleven Talismans, and hurriedly places the Rat into the final slot. Shendu regains his physical form as Valmont rushes back out, and Aku materialises from the shadows, determined to acquire the power of the Talismans for himself.

I have also contemplated Hellboy vs Ghost Rider for a thematic "heroes from Hell" showdown, though GR in all likelihood beats Hellboy pretty badly. Hellboy vs Spawn as well with "renegade heroes from Hell", but Spawn is broken as shit. I think as far as evenly matched fights, Blade vs Hellboy is actually the closest one.

Hellboy vs Daimon (or Satana) Hellstrom would be a extremely deep cut but it'd be neat given they're both literal "devilspawn" struggling with being The Anti Anti Christ.

Vampirella vs Buffy?

Blade vs Red Rain Batman could be a funny twist (Red Rain Batman is the one who is a vampire).

Shulk VS Lightning: The two pass each other in a field, before receiving visions of one another delivering fatal finishing blows. They draw their weapons, cautious of the stranger nearby and hoping to change the fates revealed to them.

Sans VS Shedinja: This one's pretty straightforward- Shedinja arrives in the Final Hall, where Sans stands ready to judge. He prepares to fight upon seeing the hollow husk's LV is 100.

Henry Stickmin VS Problem Sleuth: Henry stages yet another heist, this time for a sapphire. Seems a local detective was already tipped that something like this would happen, though.

Hiccup and Toothless vs. Hiro and Baymax: Hiro and Baymax are just out for a trip when they suddenly fly into New Berk territory and Hiccup and Toothless are as well just flying around, leading to the classic case of misunderstanding and start attacking each other.

Galactus vs. Unicron - The two stumble upon Earth (or some other planet), and get into a fight over who gets to eat it.

Can we all agree that throughout the entire of Death Battle so far, The worst performing speedster is A-Train.

Some set ups for my dream matches

King Boo vs Muzan - King Boo has captured the Demon Slayers and many of the Twelve Kizuki, having trapped them in paintings. Just as he was to be putting the last painting (Tanjiro) away, he's rudely interrupted by Muzan who doesn't appreciate his work.

Ben 10 vs All for One - All for One takes an interest in what he thinks is Ben's quirk (The Omnitrix) after Ben dispatches Shigaraki and the other villains sent to get him, All for One decides to do it himself.

Gumball vs Eric Cartman - Gumball's antics while in South Park end up ruining Cartman's own scheme leading to the fat kid to try and take his anger out on Gumball.

Aren't the Hellstroms much more powerful than Hellboy?

Funny enough, there actually is a Vampirella story about her teaming up with a Buffy Expy.

Would Rayne from BloodRayne be a good opponent for Blade? Both are Dhampyrs who were fairly well known in the 2000s.

All for One should wait until MHA manga is finished because you just know he's gonna get more abilties down the line. Plus, Alien X stomps.

I would love to see All for One try to take his opponent's powers and is shocked to see that he can't. He goes "Your quirk is mine!" and nothing happens, cue the oh crap moment for him and his opponents be like "What's a quirk?"

What do you think of Pinhead (Hellraiser) vs Pennywise (Stephen King's It)?

Pennywise needs fear to be a threat, and Pinhead has no fear whatsoever.

So are we just going to ignore that Death Battle is being sponsored by a game featuring a Shonen Jump property, on an episode featuring a Shonen Jump character?

Never thought I'd hear "small dick energy" used to describe DIO.

I'd prefer if they stayed away from slang like "getting clapped, small dick energy, and incel" but I guess they've done all three now.

@windleleopard: Satana probably is. Daimon I'm not too sure, as I'm not as familiar with him, but he seems significantly weaker than his sister. There's an interesting question to be asked here of how effective Daimon's hellfire is against Hellboy given he's a literal hellspawn.

As for Blade vs Rayne, sounds good on paper but I'm not familiar enough with Rayne to make a judgement.

Alright cool, DIO is getting his vampire powers, so has some range now.
