The Owl House Revived is a 2023 webseries spearheaded by thelovelyliz and illustrated by various separate artists.

The series serves as a Fan Sequel to The Owl House, picking up shortly after the events of "Watching and Dreaming's" Time Skip, and following the adventures of the teenaged Hexsquad as they navigate the trials and tribulations of growing up, and deal with issues on both sides of the portal.

Two episodes have been released, and can be watched on Liz's personal YouTube channel.

On November 17th, 2023, the series officially went on hiatus, with Liz citing private personal factors behind the decision.

This series contains examples of:

  • Call-Back: The moment when Hunter calms Willow down in "Under Wraps" is a direct parallel to him doing the same thing in "For the Future".
  • Continuity Nod: Upon meeting Masha again, Gus mentions how they helped the group decipher the map in the cabin. Gus remarks that it was "One weird Halloween".
  • Crush Blush: Amity and Luz, naturally, but Vee develops a heavy one when she's around Masha.
  • Curse Cut Short: During "Under Wraps", Luz lets out an "Oh shit" upon finding out that she's forgotten about meeting the Azura author, but is quickly cut off by Jacob Hopkins.
  • Given Name Reveal: Masha's full name here is revealed to be Masha Sartovski. Jacob's is also revealed as Jacob Christian Hopkins, the Third.
  • Growing Up Sucks: Luz and Amity are hit with a case of this, questioning if they should be at the Azura book signing, given that they're now part of the Periphery Demographic. However, after seeing a couple cosplaying as Azura and Hecate, they both decide to make the visit.
  • Romantic Wingman: Gus considers himself one (as well as a "professional third wheel"), having seen Luz and Amity "being complete messes until they finally got together" and kickstarting Hunter and Willow's relationship by leaving messages outside their windows reading "Willow / Hunter likes you! Please just %#^&^* date already!"
  • Take That!: Mildred Featherwhyle's publishers cancel the Azura books because they "didn't fit their brand", but gave her the opportunity to write one last book to wrap everything up — a clear reference to Disney cutting The Owl House short for the same reasons. Luz ends up going on a brief Author Tract to underline the point:
Luz: That's just a company's sleazy way to avoid having to release a real reason to cancel something despite it being popular and impactful!
