Jimbei did die as he helped the Straw Hats escape Whole Cake Island
Luffy told Jimbei to not let death stop him from joining his crew, and Zoro mused on the possibility that Jimbei died when Luffy noted that Big Mom arrived at Wano, while he didn't. Perhaps it's possible that Jimbei was somehow killed (or came really close to being killed) by Big Mom when she arrived to confront the Sun Pirates and Germa 66. However, not willing to break his promise to Luffy, Jimbei revived himself a la Kamina in order to not let his new captain down.

Caribou will become an Unwitting Instigator of Doom after Egghead
He already knows a lot of sensitive info, has the risk of eavesdropping on more of it on Egghead, and at one point mistakingly assumed the Straw Hats would be heading to Mary Geoise in the near future. If he gets captured by the Marines at the end of the arc, there's a good chance they might get him to spill the beans.

Koby is related to Rocks D. Xebec
People have been wondering about Teach's reasons for taking Koby, so this came to mind. There are a few reasons to think this is the cause.

  • Koby is supposed to be Luffy’s mirror within the series, so it would make sense for him to be a D. even if he isn’t a Rocks.

  • Another fight/war seems to be about to break, one that will parallel the God Valley Fight between three D. So far, two of those D. are Marshall D. Teach = Rocks D. Xebec, Monkey D. Luffy = Gol D. Rogers, but as for Monkey D. Garp’s parallel, no one besides Koby comes to mind. It would make sense for the roles to be reversed, with the grandsons fighting on opposite sides than their grandfathers once did.

  • Teach is obsessed with the Rocks Pirates. He named his ship after them, purposely got into a former Rocks crew, fought another to get one of their islands. He also seems to be aware of a lot of past and erased history. Him kidnapping Koby doesn’t make a lot of sense as far as we can tell (they only met once during the Rocky Port Incident and Teach knows nothing about his friendship with Luffy, and Koby doesn’t have a high position within the marines to warrant his attention), so there must be another reason for his actions. Him being related to Xebec, someone Teach seems to admire or at least be interested in, could explain that.
    • Regarding this point specifically, it seems more probable that the reason Blackbeard took Koby prisoner is to serve as bait for Garp, who does have a connection to Xebec. And it worked.

The climax of the Egghead Arc will have Luffy battle Kizaru, while the Straw Hats fight the Seraphim
I think Luffy facing Kizaru is a given, due to Luffy having grown strong enough to defeat an Emperor—he's more than ready to fight an Admiral. In addition, the Light-Pressure Gloves shown earlier in the story would be an effective Chekhov's Gun which would allow Luffy to harm the light-based Admiral.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Straw Hats could fight the Seraphim, who may turn on them and Vegapunk thanks to one of the Five Elders being higher on the Pacifista Authority Hierarchy than Vegapunk and his satellites. If so, then the Straw Hats could fight the Seraphim in groups: Zoro and Brook could fight S-Hawk, Nami and Robin could fight S-Snake, Jimbei and Sanji could fight S-Shark, and Franky, Usopp, and Chopper could fight S-Bear. Of course, this may not happen, due to how strong the Seraphim have proven themself to be (even putting Blackbeard on the defensive), but we'll just have to wait and see.

  • Confirmed, at least as far as Luffy vs Kizaru

The Blackbeard Pirates will eventually arrive at Egghead and Elbaph
In Chapter 1063, it was revealed that after the events of Wano, the Blackbeard Pirates pursued Law to obtain his Poneglyph rubbings. If that's the case, it's possible that other members of Blackbeard's crew are headed to Egghead and Elbaph, the current whereabouts of Luffy and Kid respectively, in order to obtain their Poneglyph rubbings as well.

  • Partially confirmed as of Chapter 1079; a ship belonging to the Blackbeard Pirates is shown approaching Egghead before cutting away. Whether or not they're targeting Luffy's Poneglyph rubbings is still unknown.

Franky will start using Green Blood after the Egghead Arc
Seeing as he's a massive Vegapunk fan and a cyborg, it'd make sense for Franky to gain the technological power-up. As for which Devil Fruit's power he'd gain, maybe Senor Pink's Swim-Swim Fruit since he and Franky have a mutual respect for each other and Franky commented on S-Shark having the same power.

Sanji's mother, Vinsmoke Sora, wrote the comic strip Sora, Warrior of the Sea
It's possible that Sora is the author of that comic, writing the story that's based around her life. She also wanted to show the world how bad Germa 66 is. Let's look at the connections:
  • Sanji's mother and the character share the same name
  • Sora fights Germa 66; Sora "fights" against her husband Judge's ideals
  • Stealth Black is a very popular character; Stealth Black is Sanji's (Vinsmoke Sora's favorite child) alter-ego

Lilith will be the Sole Survivor of the Vegapunks
With Shaka and Pythagoras seemingly killed off, it doesn't seem out of the question that more of the satellites could meet their demise before the Egghead arc is over. The fake-out at the beginning of the arc that would lead the reader to believe that Lilith is the sole Vegapunk could be an example of Oda's iconic foreshadowing at play.

Shaka will be the man with the burn scar
Unlike the other human Vegapunk satellites (Lilith, Atlas, York), Shaka has his face covered by a helmet. While the helmet may be a cool design choice, it's also possible that the helmet covers a severe wound Shaka had in the past. That wound could be a burn scar. It could also mean that Kid and Killer's visit to Elbaph to meet Saul was a Red Herring, since everyone thought that Saul was the person that would be crucial to winning the war for the One Piece.
  • Looks to be jossed as of Chapter 1081.

Fullalead is now a mobile island
Avalo Pizarro's Devil Fruit allows him to fully meld into the island of Fullalead. Perhaps as part of the Isle-Isle Fruit's capabilities, when Pizarro decides to move while the fruit's abilities are active, he could take the entire island of Fullalead with him. This could make Fullalead a fully mobile island, similar to the Germa Kingdom being a mobile kingdom.

The Egghead Incident will ultimately be the final battle of the series
Oda teased that One Piece only has about three years left before its end as of 2022. Because of that, it seems unlikely that we'll see everything people are anticipating, like the Straw Hats' adventures on Elbaph, the Moon, and Marijoa, within that minute timeframe. Additionally, he mentioned drawing the biggest war in the manga's history after the events of Wano; in his Jump Festa 2022 message, it was implied that a battle royale would be happening within the next year, indicating that the final battle would be happening soon. As of Chapter 1080, we have some light on what the final battle could be like: the Egghead Incident was teased to be a world-shaking event, that began when the World Government decided to assassinate Vegapunk. Now, at least 100 Marine ships are heading to Egghead, along with Admiral Kizaru and Saturn of the Five Elders. That alone could be a huge setup for the final battle of the series, and throw in other key players like Blackbeard (see below for potential participants), and you have what could very well be the final war of One Piece.

Participants in the Egghead Incident
As detailed above, the Egghead Incident could be the final battle in One Piece. If the theory is correct, then there will certainly be a lot more parties involved than just the Straw Hats and the Marines. So who could also partake in this potential battle royale?

  • Blackbeard Pirates—they're seemingly being built up to be the final big opponents the Straw Hats will face, and a ship of theirs is shown to be approaching Egghead in Chapter 1079.
    • Given how it turns out the ship belongs to Van Augur and Catarina Devon and that they've now departed, this is likely jossed.
  • Straw Hat Grand Fleet—they've been hyped up to start an incident of massive proportions, and their arrival to back up Luffy and his crew could very well kick off the battle on Egghead.
  • Red Hair Pirates—since Blackbeard may arrive at Egghead, it should seem plausible that Shanks somehow heads to the island as well.
  • Cross Guild (or at least Buggy)—completing the Four Emperors, Buggy, along with Crocodile and Mihawk, could partake in the final battle. As of Chapter 1082, Buggy and the Cross Guild are officially on the hunt for the One Piece. In addition, Crocodile implied that in order to create a new utopia for the world, they'd need weapons (indicated by only saying the letter "w" before Buggy cuts him off). If Buggy's searching for the One Piece and Crocodile needs weapons, they could head to Egghead for both needs: Buggy for the Road Poneglyph rubbings Luffy has (since he can't head to Laugh Tale without them) and Crocodile for the Seraphim (which could be the weapons needed for the utopia). Or perhaps only Buggy will head to Egghead (just so Crocodile and Mihawk could send him out to die).
  • SWORD—they're currently on Fullalead in order to rescue Koby from Blackbeard's forces. If the rescue's successful, they could flee to another island for safety (potentially bringing Blackbeard's fleet with him)—potentially Egghead, where they get caught up in the Egghead Incident.
  • Big Mom Pirates—with Blackbeard holding Pudding captive, her family probably wants to save her. And if Blackbeard is heading to Egghead, the Big Mom Pirates may be tailing him. They could also try to settle the score with Luffy due to the events on Whole Cake Island.
  • Thriller Bark Pirates—Moria was revealed to be Blackbeard's prisoner after refusing to join his crew. If Moria's freed, his crew could begin to wreak havoc again, eventually arriving on Egghead.
  • Ryokugyu and Weevil—the former explicitly revealed he was connected to Vegapunk, and the latter is hinted to be connected to the doctor.
  • Marco and Buckin—when we last checked in on them, the two seem to be heading Egghead so Vegapunk can prove to them how Weevil is Whitebeard and Buckin's son.
  • Kuja Pirates—after the Seraphims' attack on Amazon Lily, Hancock implied that she'll finally head to Luffy in order to protect her people. If so, she and the Kuja Pirates could provide Luffy some extra ammunition in the upcoming battle and even potentially join the Grand Fleet.
  • Akainu—as shown in the Egghead Arc's early chapters, he's growing more and more frustrated that he isn't taking action as much due to being Fleet Admiral. Perhaps he'll finally decide to partake in battle during the Egghead Incident. It could also allow Luffy to try and avenge Ace by fighting and defeating his murderer.
  • Caribou—he's probably the biggest wildcard yet. Since he went to Egghead with the Straw Hats, he'll probably partake in the battle as well.
    • Given how he's seemingly departed with the Blackbeard Pirates, this is likely jossed.
  • Burn Scar—Chapter 1081 revealed that the alleged keeper of the last Road Poneglyph, the fabled man with the burn scar, seems to be working for the World Government. If that's the case, then he could be called to help in the Egghead Incident. Perhaps in the midst of the chaos, the Straw Hats will manage to obtain his Poneglyph rubbings.

Luffy's true dream is the become King of the World
In Chapter 1060, Luffy revealed that becoming King of the Pirates was just the first step in an even bigger dream. As for what the dream is, it's possible that Luffy's setting his sights on becoming something even bigger: King of the World. Luffy's crew stated that his actual dream is impossible to achieve; if he's trying to become King of the World, then it does seem impossible. After all, there's the matter of the Empty Throne, which everyone believes means that there cannot be a single ruler of the world (which, of course, was proven false thanks to Imu). In addition, Rocks had that same dream when he was alive, so Luffy may be mirroring Rocks's ambitions (albeit in a more benevolent light, by the looks of it).

Momousagi, Chaton, and Kurouma will all be come Admirals in the future
The alias of all three Marines have the same naming scheme as all five Admirals in the series so far: a color followed by an animal. In addition, the former two were both in the running to be Admirals, but are currently Vice-Admirals. Because of that, this could be foreshadowing for the next wave of Admirals in the series.
  • Kurouma merely works as director of the Naval Bureau of Investigation. Unless he is an Almighty Janitor, I don't see how he would be promoted straight to Admiral.

Straw Hat Pirates vs. Blackbeard Pirates matchups
With all Ten Titanic Captains officially revealed, now we can predict which member of the Straw Hats will fight who when they inevitably clash:

  • Luffy vs. Blackbeard: their battle has been building up ever since Jaya, and it would be a clash against captains.
  • Zoro vs. Shiryu: both are the respective swordsmen of their crews. It's a lock.
  • Nami vs. Lafitte: also a lock; both are their crews' navigators.
  • Usopp vs. Van Augur: another mirror matchup, this time with snipers.
  • Sanji vs. Catarina Devon: with her gender and shapeshifting abilities, Devon could force Sanji to finally fight a female opponent for the first time.
  • Chopper vs. Doc Q: another obvious choice, since both are their crews' doctors.
  • Robin vs. Kuzan: now that we know that Kuzan is a Titanic Captain, it would make the most sense for him to fight Robin due to their past encounters.
  • Brook vs. Vasco Shot: as shown on his character page, Shot is being implied to be an Evil Counterpart to Brook, so that's the reason for this matchup.
  • Jimbei vs. Jesus Burgess: both are the helmsmen of their respective crews.

Burn Scar will be the person with an eyepatch
Oda teased that he will introduce someone wearing an eyepatch at some point in the story. That person would particularly appear near the end of the story. Now that we're basically in One Piece's endgame, perhaps Burn Scar is the person with that eyepatch.

Burn Scar is the "lurking legend" Oda teased
He mentioned that during Wano, a man only described as a lurking legend will make their debut; this person would be the ultimate opponent standing in the Straw Hat Pirates' way. And while he never made an appearance in Wano, Burn Scar was teased by Kid in one of the arc's final chapters. And since he's rumored to have the final Road Poneglyph, Burn Scar could be that final opponent Luffy will have to face before obtaining the One Piece.

Burn Scar is Scopper Gaban
Recall that the Road Poneglyph he's supposed to be guarding used to be in Fishman Island. The last people known to have accessed it were the Roger Pirates - and just so, Roger Pirates seem to have been scattered about the Grand Line as watchers and guardians, to wait for the Joy Boy to appear and to guide him forward. Crocus, Rayleigh, Shanks... and now, having scooped up the one Road Poneglyph that was just lying around all too easily and soon for anyone to find, taken it elsewhere into better safety, we've got the third-in-command of the Roger Pirate Crew, the much-expected Scopper Gaban.

Buggy use the Chop-Chop Fruit power to defeat Apoo.
Apoo's Tone-Tone Fruit only works if the target hears the sounds the fruit user generates. So Buggy will detach his ears and put in a box so Buggy's ears can't hear Apoo's sound.

The prevalence of the Seraphim will be the last straw that lead to the Marines rebelling against the WG.
Things are not going well for the Navy. Pirates are everywhere, there's upheaval all over the world following the defeat of Big Mom and Kaido, multiple countries are starting to rebel, and there are now bounties being placed on Marine Officers the same way they do with pirates. Admirals and Vice Admirals both are being stretched thin to contain the concurrent crises. The fact that they're even rolling out the Seraphim before the creatures are fully completed means that the whole organization is on the verge of collapse. But now that the Sera's are being rolled out, what now? If they work, and from we see on Amazon Lily they do, then the Gorosei won't have many reasons to continue tolerating Fleet Admiral Sakazuki and his demands that they figure this shit out. And they get rid of him, then no one's safe. Akainu already hates the World Nobles, so if they try and cut him loose, he's just not going to stand for it. The guy may be unpopular, but the one thing most marines can agree on is that they can't stand the upper echelons of the Government. We might be looking at a full scale civil war in the near future.

The Yuki Yuki no Mi reincarnated on the Thousand Sunny.
When a Devil Fruit user dies, the fruit gets reincarnated into the nearest fruit, right? Well, we know that Nami would have her tangerines on board the Sunny (just like previously on the Merry), and the Yuki Yuki no Mi would have to go somewhere to be reincarnated, right? It's just that they haven't found it yet, since the fruit is conveniently hidden underneath some of the leaves from the tangerine plants.
  • Devil Fruits don't reincarnate into the nearest fruit. The only concrete information we have is that they reincarnate "somewhere".

Alvida's Slip Slip Fruit will prove to be a Chekhov's Gun.
Specifically, it will prove to be capable of somehow no-selling anything Blackbeard can throw at her. Even more so if she somehow manages to awaken her Devil Fruit.

Seraphim's Fate
The Seraphim will end up adopted by either one whose DNA was used to clone the Seraphim or by someone close to that person.
  • Hancock will see S-Snake as her daughter with Luffy, given how S-Snake has Hancock's love of Luffy in her.
  • Bonnie will adopt S-Bear as a younger brother as her father may not be fully recovering from his ordeal.
  • If Jimbei is still travelling with the Straw Hats, S-Shark will go be with the Mermaid royal family.
  • Mihawk will find some joy in having a son and at the same time be frustrated by S-Hawk.

One Piece wil get an Immediate Sequel
In 2020, Oda stated that One Piece will end once the One Piece is found. And Whitebeard mentioned during his final moments that once the One Piece is found, there will be a massive war that would engulf the whole world. Because of that, there could be a follow-up sequel to the series that could detail this massive war Whitebeard teased, the so-called Throne Wars—although not done by Oda (he was clear about not helming a One Piece sequel; he could still leave lots of notes for a potential successor to follow). In addition, the sequel could follow Luffy as he pursues his true dream, the one in which finding the One Piece is only the first step.

Egghead will ultimately have a Downer Ending which has Luffy being captured
It's said that the Egghead Incident will be one that would shock the entire world. One idea is that the incident will end with the capture of Luffy, a person that everyone thought could never be defeated, one that people were rooting for. The world would never think that someone as undefeatable as Luffy could actually be defeated and captured, so it's possible that this could be the incident's end result.

If One Piece does get an Immediate Sequel, it'll take from the Skypiea Saga
Upon closer inspection, the first half of One Piece begins to take notes from the East Blue Saga once the Straw Hats reach the Grand Line, while the second half (going on now) takes from the Alabasta Saga. Because of that, of One Piece does get a follow-up, it could draw from the Skypiea Saga. As for how:
  • The sequel would follow Pirate King Luffy and the Straw Hats waging war against the World Government.
  • Dragon and the Revolutionaries would mirror Wyper and his faction, while Imu, the Five Elders, and the Celestial Dragons would reflect Eneru and his army.
  • The Holy Knights would be really prominent figures in the story, similar to Gan Fall the Sky Knight playing a key role in Skypiea.
  • A Sky Island would be the setting for at least one saga, quite possibly with Urouge as a major character.
  • In addition, there would be a saga focusing on the Emerald City, which Bellamy mentioned alongside the City of Gold in Jaya.
  • The Straw Hats would also visit the Moon, where they could reunite with Eneru.
  • The Mother Flame (or Uranus, if Ivankov's correct) would be Imu's version of Raigo; a weapon that would annihilate the land from below.
  • Due to them being mentioned alongside the Sun God (Nika) in a flashback, there would be Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits of the Rain God, Forest God, and Earth God.

Following the above theory, a hypothetical One Piece sequel will also mirror sagas from the second half of the original series
In addition to paralleling Alabasta, the second half of One Piece also seems to be mirroring story arcs from the first half of the series: Fishman Island = East Blue, Punk Hazard = Drum Island, Dressrosa = Alabasta/Jaya/Skypiea, Zou = Water 7, Whole Cake Island = Enies Lobby, Wano = Thriller Bark, Egghead = Sabaody. A possible sequel would likewise mirror the story arcs from the series' second half. As for how:
  • Fishman Island will be destroyed by someone wearing a straw hat.
  • Near the beginning of the story, Noah will finally see action, be raised to the surface, and begin its mission.
  • Luffy (now the Pirate King) would reunite with Shirahoshi, paying off the foreshadowed meeting of the two sovereigns teased during the Oden flashback.
  • As they were first mentioned during Fishman Island, the certain someone Caribou mentioned there and at Wano will begin to make their move, probably by targeting Shirahoshi first.
  • Luffy will fight an opponent who's a master of Hasshoken, paralleling his fight with Chinjao in Dressrosa. Wang Zhi's a possibility, owing to their Chinese name (similar to the Happo Navy's Chinese motif).
  • We'd also get story arcs focusing on each member of the Grand Fleet (a Cavendish arc, a Bartolomeo arc, a Sai arc, etc.)
  • The origins of Zunesha would be unveiled, as well as what crime he committed 800 years ago.
  • Something would happen that would finally have Wano's borders opened (either by Wano themselves or someone else) so Pluton could be released.

Noah's true purpose
Noah is said to have a certain purpose that it needs to do when a certain day arrives. People speculated that it had to do with the Fishmen, but recent developments heavily indicate another strong option. As seen in the Egghead Arc, Imu used the Mother Flame to destroy Lulusia—and the world's sea level was raised by 1 meter. Say that Imu uses the Mother Flame countless times. If what happened after Lulusia is any indication, every usage of the Mother Flame would flood the world bit by bit, until there's no land left. Which leads to Noah's true purpose: to save those from the gradual flooding of the world. After all, that would parallel the story of Noah's Ark: God floods the world and destroys nearly all of humanity, but Noah's Ark saved all of its animals. And since Imu, a self-proclaimed God, looks to flood the world of One Piece, leave it to an ark named Noah to save everyone.

Contrary to what everyone believes, Elbaf will not be the next arc after Egghead
As of now (Chapter 1093), everything's building up to the long-awaited Elbaf as the Straw Hats' next destination. Aside from it being a highly-anticipated location that hasn't been explored in full yet, Chapter 1066 reveals that Vegapunk has a connection with Elbaf (having seen its giants recover Ohara's books, then visiting the island himself and meeting with the still-alive Saul to research them), and Chapter 1090 reveals that the only needle on Nami's Log Pose frozen in place leads to the island. All signs point to Elbaf—but perhaps everything's being set up for a massive Bait-and-Switch. With each story arc in the second half of One Piece seemingly paralleling a story arc from the story's first half, Egghead in particular seems to parallel Sabaody. And when the Straw Hats arrived at Sabaody, everyone was expecting the highly-anticipated Fishman Island to be the next destination visited, only for the Straw Hats to be defeated and separated, with Amazon Lily being the next island visited instead. Because of that, Egghead could end with something similar: a massive curveball will be thrown, forcing the Straw Hats to delay their trip to Elbaf as a result—with the next island visited being completely different than what people expected.

Related to an above post, the Egghead Incident will end with Luffy and Robin's captures
It's possible that the shocking ramifications of the Egghead Incident may not just be the capture of Luffy, as mentioned above, but also the capture of Robin as well. Robin has been a major target of the World Government due to her ailing from Ohara and being able to read the Poneglyphs, so they could finally capture her after failing to do so in Wano. As for Luffy, the Government could capture him due to not only everything he did, but also due to awakening his Devil Fruit.

Each of the Five Elders' titles foreshadow future story arcs where they play major roles in
As revealed in Chapter 1086, each of the Five Elders have a title dedicated to one or two fields of interest. For example, Jaygarcia Saturn is the Godhead of Science and Defense, Shepherd Ju Peter is the Godhead of Agriculture, Marcus Mars is the Godhead of Environment, etc. It's possible that each field acts as a hint to where the Five Elders will show up in future story arcs—for example, Saturn, the Godhead of Science, is currently playing a major role on Egghead, an island devoted to science. Because of that, Saturn could have a major role in another story arc, taking place on an island devoted to defense. Meanwhile, Ju Peter could appear on an island focused on agriculture, Mars could appear on an island focused on the environment, and so on.

Several Straw Hats will have another dream to pursue after fulfilling their initial one
Luffy stated that he has another dream that he intends to pursue after becoming King of the Pirates. If Luffy has another dream to chase after when he completes his first one, it's possible that other Straw Hats could gain a new dream after completing the one they have now. For example, after Sanji finds the All Blue, he could gain a new dream involving him making a grand banquet using the All Blue's ingredients.

Saturn will override Atlas's new commands to the Pacifista
At the end of Chapter 1093, Atlas managed to override Kizaru's orders and command the Pacifista to attack the Marines. However, this may not last for long—and it's possible that Saturn may finally take action and override the commands Atlas gave the Pacifista. After all, as seen on the Pacifista hierarchy, the Five Elders are above Vegapunk and his satellites, meaning if Saturn relays orders to the Pacifista, Atlas's orders will be overridden—which would not bode well for the Straw Hats.
  • Confirmed: the following chapter has Saturn command the Pacifista to stand down.

Kuma, Blackbeard, and Big Mom all share the same rare origin
We're now being told that Kuma is from a special people. This is vaguely reminsicent of what we heard before about Blackbeard's ability to have multiple fruits being a result of having a special body. Kuma and Blackbeard already have a lot of similarities, including being large men with top-heavy bodies, curly black hair in similar styles, staying conscious through immense pain, and having notably high durability. However, I also suspect that it is something both of the men share with Big Mom. Big Mom's backstory revolved around her also possessing unique traits not explained by any of the existing power systems of the setting. She is also the only character other than Blackbeard to have somehow gained a Devil Fruit through the corpse of its owner rather than through the fruit (aritifical or otherwise) itself. While incredible durability is not unusual in One Piece, Big Mom is another character whose durability is noted for being exceptional even in-universe, with Capone Bege observing that she only seemed capable of receiving wounds in specific circumstances. Perhaps as if to foreshadow this, we now know that Kuma was once the king of Sorbet Kingdom, a location named after a sweet, much like every place Big Mom named. With One Piece otherwise being very consistent about power sources (usually either devil fruits, haki, or being innate to a species), it seems conspicuous that three characters were special from birth in ways that have yet to be explained, but with the story in its final stretch, it seems more likely that all three will have the same explanation rather than spending time elaborating on three entirely different origins. We know Big Mom was born to human parents, but Bonney doesn't seem to fit in this list either, so whatever is special about these characters may not be hereditary.
  • Or is hereditary but skips generations.

The reason why Blackbeard wants Fullalead to become a government-based kingdom
Blackbeard and his crew mentioned that the final Road Poneglyph is in the possession of a man with a burn scar. Shiryu in particular implied that Burn Scar may be affiliated with the World Government, preventing pirates from obtaining the Poneglyph and finding Laugh Tale. Because of that, Blackbeard probably wants his home base of Fullalead to become a kingdom of the World Government so he could get closer to Burn Scar, and obtain his Road Poneglyph.

SWORD and Moria will form an uneasy alliance to take down Blackbeard
Both parties have their reasons for wanting to defeat Blackbeard: SWORD to save Garp, and Moria to avenge Absalom. In addition, Koby was already implied to have freed Moria from Blackbeard's captivity, so that could be grounds for an alliance to take shape.

At their current strength, the Straw Hats will be unable to defeat Saturn — not even Luffy
This could be another parallel to Sabaody: the biggest threat in the arc is a Government-affiliated person so powerful, that the Straw Hats can only try to escape them. For Sabaody, it was Kizaru. And for Egghead, which fittingly has Luffy fight on equal with Kizaru, it's Saturn. And he proves himself to be a massive threat, even exploding someone's head just by gazing at him. This could prove that even if Luffy awakened his Devil Fruit, even if he defeated Kaido, and even if he becomes King of the Pirates, he'll still be massively underpowered to fight toe-to-toe with Saturn, let alone defeat him. And he could make other Emperors like Big Mom, Kaido, Blackbeard, Whitebeard and Shanks look like lowly Marine soldiers in comparison; that's how powerful he could be.
  • While Luffy is able to repeatedly attack Saturn in Gear 5, all of his attacks don't faze the Elder at all, so this could be a soft confirmation.

The Cross Guild will eventually issue bounties on Akainu, Kong, the Holy Knights, the Five Elders, and Imu
How much berries their bounties are worth could be a clear testament to how powerful they could be.

Kizaru was not defeated by Luffy in Chapter 1094
He was just briefly put out of commission. Perhaps he could reappear at a point where things get more dire for the Straw Hats, and succeed in his mission now that Luffy has exhausted himself fully.
  • Confirmed: he returns to the fight fully healed at the end of Chapter 1104.

How Luffy could obtain Gear Six
While it seems highly unlikely for Luffy to gain another power-up, there was something that was elaborated upon during the Egghead Arc that could possibly give Luffy Gear Six: Garp's training regimen. By punching the hulls of battleships without using Haki or Devil Fruit powers, Garp's punches were amplified to a massive degree. If Luffy trains himself with that technique, it's possible that his awakened Devil Fruit powers could become even more stronger than before — which could allow him to go beyond Gear Five and into Gear Six.

If there's a One Piece sequel, Rocks' treasure will be the focal point
It's been revealed in Chapter 1096 that Rocks had a treasure that was allegedly stolen by the World Nobles and taken to God Valley. This treasure was stated to be such a big deal in the pirating world, that countless infamous pirates partook in the God Valley Incident to try and obtain it. Because of that, Rocks' treasure could be even more valuable than even Roger's treasure, so a sequel could build on that, focusing on the search for Rocks' treasure and what it is.

Urouge will play a major role in the Elbaf arc and have his devil fruit named
So far all of the other supernovas have met with the Strawhats after the timeskip, have played a role in the arc they appeared in and if they have one, had their devil fruit named. Considering that Oda has stated this is the Final Saga, there can’t be too many arcs left so it’s likely Urouge will play a major role sooner rather than later.

Kuma's predecessor in the Seven Warlords is...
  • Shiki—every Warlord shown has an Animal Motif. And Shiki shares that similarity with the group, with his animal being a lion. Because of that, he'd fit right in as a member of the Seven Warlords.
  • Burn Scar—it's been revealed that Kuma's predecessor was dismissed after being defeated by Ace. And since Ace's Devil Fruit allows him to control fire, it's possible that he gave this Warlord that fabled burn scar pirates have been searching for.
Alpha is Kalifa’s sister or cousin
  • They sure do look alike and are both part of Cipher Pol.

The Dark-Dark Fruit's true name is the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Davy Jones
1: If Davy Jones wasn't a real person, there can easily be a Davy Jones DF. 2: According to Robin, Jones steals everything that lands on the sea floor. What sinks in water? Devil Fruit users. Who's the only person that can have more than one Devil Fruit power? Blackbeard. 3: The Davy Back Fight rips crews apart, making it the antithesis of Joyboy's goal of uniting the entire world in one piece. 4: Just as there are theories that the Dark-Dark Fruit is actually the Sea Devil Model, Davy Jones was thought of as the Sea Devil in real-world legend. 5: Oda's sketch of Davy Jones shares some similarities to Blackbeard. Namely several missing teeth, a bandana, and a beard. 6: The Dark-Dark Fruit's gravity powers could represent water pressure.

The Mother Flame isn't actually a weapon
Ivankov noted that Vegapunk would never make a weapon of mass destruction for the World Government so maybe the Mother Flame isn't a weapon but rather an energy source that can be used to fuel a WMD. The WMD in question likely being Uranus which may have laid dormant for a long time necessitating a test with it's new power source.
  • Chapter 1114 gives us the Mother Flame's appearance, though we're yet to be specified if the tank it's contained in is the weapon itself or it merely contains the flame.

Each of the Five Elders oversee two fields of politics
This theory stems from the titles of the Elders themselves. From them, each Elder is revealed to oversee one field of politics—Ju Peter is the Godhead of Agriculture, Mars is the Godhead of Environment, etc. The notable exception to this is Saturn, who is the Godhead of Science and Defense. Assuming that Science and Defense aren't basically the same field, this could mean that each of the Five Elders actually have two fields of politics they watch over with the Elders not named Saturn having their second field unrevealed for the time being.

The unidentified party that allowed the Egghead researchers to escape and are currently travelling to Egghead in Chapter 1105 is Marco and Buckin
Both characters already have a reason to head to Egghead; Buckin's eager to prove to Marco that Weevil is Whitebeard's son, and Vegapunk's the only one that can prove it. Perhaps on their way to Vegapunk, the stumbled across the Marine ship dispatched to eliminate the fleeing Egghead researchers, and destroyed it. Bonus points if the researchers were directed to Whitebeard's home of Sphinx to lay low from the World Government.
  • Jossed, it’s Dorry and Brogy.

The Egghead researchers will head to Elbaf for safety
We now know that the party that saved the Egghead researchers from being killed by the Marines were Dorry and Brogy of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Given that giants rescued them, it's possible that the researchers were directed to go to Elbaf for safety. After all, Elbaf has a reputation as the strongest country in the world, so the World Government would have to think twice about attacking that island as a result.

The great crime the Buccaneers committed was to create piracy
Buccaneers are prosecuted by the World Government for commiting a great crime in the past for which the punishment is total exctinction of their race. And with the name Buccaneer, a type of pirate, maybe it was them who were the first to sail the seas in total freedom thus creating the very concept of piracy.
  • Seemingly jossed as of Chapter 1114; it's revealed that Joy Boy created piracy. Whether or not he was a Buccaneer is yet to be revealed.

Toki is Nefertari Lilly.
Lily is said to have disappeared without a trace much like how Toki would have seemed to vanish when going to the future, Toki also came from right around the end of the Void Century, she was trying to get to Wano which we know had importance during the Void Century, and Toki could be a Line-of-Sight Name from her Devil Fruit. He hair color is also reminiscent of Vivi and her mother, and it would make Momo and Hiyori part of the D Clan. This could also be what Oden tore out of his diary, details about her true identity and mission.

The Strawhats, Blackbeard Pirates and Smoker’s marine subordinates will have a three way battle paralleling the God Valley incident
Considering Luffy’s relationships with Smoker and Blackbeard mirror Roger’s relationships with Garp and Rocks respectively, it seems only fitting someday in the future there’s a three way brawl that echoes the God Valley incident.

The Giant Pirates have not arrived to take the Straw Hats to Elbaf
This could tie into Oda's tease during Jump Festa 2024, where he implied that the route after Egghead will not involve going to Elbaf, despite all the teases in the Egghead Arc this far. It's also worth noting that the Giant Pirates never made mention of taking the Straw Hats to Elbaf as of Chapter 1114.

Saturn will defeat Luffy in one blow
Notably, Saturn didn't use any moves on anybody yet (attacking with his tendrils do not count), despite being pummeled by countless people (and subsequently healing his wounds). This could imply that when Saturn does use one of his moves on Luffy, the attack will be so powerful, that it'll defeat him instantly, even in his Gear Five form. This would be similar to Luffy's first bout with Kaido, where, after being attacked by Luffy multiple times, Kaido countered with an attack that defeated Luffy in a single hit.

Bartolomeo will eventually fight Caribou
Given that the two are the idols of Luffy and Blackbeard, it's probably a given.

Not everyone will believe what Vegapunk says in is worldwide broadcast
While everyone will understandably be shocked at what Vegapunk has to say about the world, not everyone will believe it. Whereas some people will embrace Vegapunk's claims about the truth of the world, others will oppose it. This could have the knockoff effect of those who support the broadcast joining the Revolutionaries in opposing the World Government.

The details of Vegapunk's broadcast will not be revealed to us immediately
While I may be wrong about this and the next chapter as of now (Chapter 1109) could very well unveil everything Vegapunk says regarding the truth of the world, there's also a possibility that the broadcast will be entirely offscreened so the details could be saved for later. Given how that happened for other important plot points, it may very well hold true for this one as well.
  • Jossed as of Chapter 1113.

The World Government's response to Vegapunk's broadcast
With Vegapunk about the reveal the truth of the world to the public, the World Government will understandably have to respond to what the scientist has to say. It's possible that they could dismiss Vegapunk's claims as lies in order to gaslight the public into not believing him. If that doesn't work, they could send the Holy Knights to silence those who support Vegapunk's words. Or, if the World Government obtains the Mother Flame for themselves, they could use it on nations that oppose them still.

Enies Lobby was created by a previous firing of the weapon that destroyed Lulusia: The one that destroyed the Ancient Kingdom
The destruction of Lulusia left a giant hole in the ocean where the island used to be. Another such hole exists and was used as the site of Enies Lobby before it was buster called. This recurring element points to Enies Lobby being built over a previous victim of the weapon. I don't think such a connection would be drawn for just some random nation: It's likely that Enies Lobby was built over the remains of the Ancient Kingdom that was vanquished by the 20 Founding Kingdoms. Not only is the Ancient Kingdom said to have no traces left in the modern day, but Enies Lobby was also the first arc where it was mentioned, adding thematic significance. Furthermore, building a monument like the gates of justice representing the power of the World Government over the ruins of their most hated enemy is perfectly in line with the World Governments actions.

The final chapter/episode of the franchise will end like how it began
It will have Luffy, as the Pirate King, passing on his hat to a young child who declares their intention to surpass him and his crew, just like in the manga's pilot chapter when Shanks passed on the hat to Luffy after the latter declared that he would gather a crew that would surpass the Red-haired Pirates.

Lafitte is currently doing a solo mission of his own during the events of Egghead
As seen during the Egghead Arc, the Blackbeard Pirates have been making their move on multiple fronts. First, Blackbeard, Burgess, Augur, and Doc Q ambushed the Heart Pirates and took their Road Poneglyph rubbings. Then, Augur and Kuzan were revealed to have captured Pudding, owing to her heritage. On Fullalead, Kuzan, Shiryu, Wolf, Shot and Pizarro fought Garp and SWORD for the custody of Koby, and have implied to take Garp hostage as part of their plan for Fullalead to be a World Government aligned kingdom. And now, both Devon and Augur arrived on Egghead so the former could gain the ability to transform into one of the Five Elders. Only one member of the Blackbeard Pirates is notably exempt from all of these missions: Lafitte. Because of that, it's entirely possible that, as the rest of his crew are busy, Lafitte's going on a solo mission of his own, to further the Blackbeard Pirate's agenda.

Saul has accompanied that Giant Pirates to Egghead, but he's currently on their ship, laying low
  • Jossed, as of Chapter 1114.

Yamato's cover story will explain what Big Mom meant by some of the One Piece being in Wano

The next cover story after Yamato's will focus on Big Mom
With Yamato's cover story, the cover stories have officially pivoted away from Whole Cake Island and into Wano. Because of that, it seems very likely that after Yamato's story wraps up, the next cover story will be located in Wano as well. One possible candidate for who could be the next headliner for such a cover story could be Big Mom. She did tease a return after being defeated by Law and Kid, so a cover story focusing on her (and possibly Kaido) could set up such a return. If a Big Mom-centric cover story does occur, we could see her reunite with her children, try and find what she referred to as some of the One Piece being in Wano (provided that Yamato doesn't find it first, as mentioned in an above WMG post), and even flash back to her and Kaido's clash on Onigashima, revealing what she said that convinced Kaido to join forces with her and form an alliance together.

Nika is not, and has never been, a god
Nika is, in fact, an actual cartoon character. Back in the days of the Ancient Kingdom, Nika was just a funny cartoon, either a newspaper comic like what exist in the present day, or the equivalent of a television character. As the Ancient Kingdom fell and the World Government rose to power, one of the few surviving things from the Kingdom happened to be Nika, who gained a Cargo Cult following from the downtrodden, especially slaves. Nika became symbolic for freedom and, per Vegapunk's theory that the Devil Fruit arose from dreams and desires, a simple cartoon character became deified and continues to exist as the Warrior of Liberation.

The reason why Red King and Pomsky were so easily defeated by Franky and Bonney was because they didn't use their Devil Fruits
While it's unconfirmed regarding whether or not Red King actually has a Devil Fruit, Pomsky had a Zoan that allowed him to turn into an otter. However, he notably didn't use his Devil Fruit when he battled Bonney, and he was defeated easily as a result. Because of that, it's possible that both Red King and Pomsky could have been more of a challenge for Franky and Bonney to defeat (and still could be, should they recover from their attacks) if they used their (hypothetical, in Red King's case) Devil Fruit powers.

What Vegapunk means about the world sinking into the sea
At the end of Chapter 1113, Vegapunk reveals that the world would eventually sink into the sea. While no more context was given before the chapter ended, there's already a possible reason as to how such an event will happen. As shown with Lulusia's destruction, the entire sea level was raised by one meter due to the Mother Flame's usage. Vegapunk may state that someone has gained access to the Mother Flame, and will utilise it countless times. With every usage, the sea level will gradually rise and rise, until eventually, the whole world will have been fully submerged into the sea. This also means that the world being sunk will be a gradual process, with the process being determined by how frequently the Mother Flame is deployed.
  • Confirmed. The first thing Vegapunk mentions in the following chapter was the earthquake that happened as a result of the Mother Flame's usage in Chapter 1060.

Vegapunk is a D.
Of course, this is a bit of a stretch, but he did Go Out with a Smile, as D.s usually do, and he was at the center of a world-shaking event, just like other D.s before him, so it may be possible.

Vegapunk will somehow he revived, prompting his broadcast to be cut short
Vegapunk said that once he dies, his message broadcast all over the world will be triggered. Because of that, the only presumed possible way to cut the broadcast is if Vegapunk himself is revived. The moment Vegapunk's heart starts beating again, only then will Vegapunk's posthumous message prematurely end. Likewise, if Vegapunk dies again, the broadcast will restart form the beginning.

The next arc after Egghead will be Laugh Tale
In his Jump Festa 2024 message, Oda teased, without dropping names, that the next destination after Egghead would be "that island", he may not be able to stop Luffy from going there next, and a battle for "that thing" would occur should the Straw Hats go there. Going in tandem with the "next arc after Egghead not being Elbaf" theories above, it's possible that Oda is actually teasing Laugh Tale—and the teases line up perfectly with this theory. Of course, he didn't give away the next island's name, in order to not spoil the surprise. Oda mentioning that he may not be able to stop Luffy from going there next is pretty obvious—of course Luffy would want to prioritize Laugh Tale and the One Piece over Elbaf, so he could finally become King of the Pirates. And the battle for "that thing" refers to the final battle for the One Piece.

The next arc after Egghead will be Fullalead
As mentioned above, Oda's Jump Festa 2024 message teased that the next island the Straw Hats visit is one that Oda might not stop Luffy from going to. Perhaps instead of Elbaf or Laugh Tale, it'll be Fullalead—and the reason why Luffy would want to drop everything he's doing and go there is to save Garp, his own grandfather, from the Blackbeard Pirates. As for "that thing" also mentioned in Oda's message, it's possible that Blackbeard already obtained the final Road Poneglyph, and it's hidden in Fullalead. Alternatively, "that thing" could still be the One Piece, with Fullalead commencing the final battle for it.

Red King has a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to turn into a Kaiju
This would be a Shout-Out to his inspiration—the titular kaiju Red King from the series Ultraman. It could also allow either Franky (piloting the General Franky) or the Iron Giant to fight him, allowing for a mecha vs. kaiju battle.

The Final Battle of the series will take place on Fullalead
It honestly makes sense for the final major conflict of a pirate-based series to take place on a pirate-based island.

Bulldog used to be a Marine Vice-Admiral
This is, of course, because of his name—some Vice-Admirals are named after canines.
