- Cross-Regional Voice Acting: While the Texas-based Rooster Teeth's voice actors reprise their roles of RWBY proper, including Funimation alum J. Michael Tatum as Klein and Christopher Sabat as Dr. Watts, the DC characters are voiced by LA-based voice actors.
- Pop-Culture Urban Legends: In April 2024, a rumor popped up stating that another RWBY crossover movie was supposedly planned, this time with the Scooby-Doo franchise, titled Scooby-Doo and RWBY, too!, with Ian Jones-Quartey as the writer, but got cancelled due to Rooster Teeth shutting down a month earlier. This was ultimately debunked by both writer Eddy Rivas on X and Quartet himself, which implied that no such film was ever pitched to Warner Bros. and only the Justice League one was, while the original post was made by a fan on Reddit, with the name taken from coincidentally, another animated DC Comics crossover release around the same time as Part 2.
- Role Reprise:
- Part 2 sees Travis Willingham, Troy Baker, and Laura Bailey reprise their respective roles from the LEGO Batman games as Superman, Batman himself, and Wonder Woman.
- In the Japanese dub, all the main dub cast from RWBY (Saori Hayami as Ruby, Yōko Hikasa as Weiss, Yu Shimamura as Blake and Ami Koshimizu as Yang) reprise their roles.
- Swan Song: This was Rooster Teeth’s last major project with the RWBY franchise before the announcement on March 6th, 2024 of the company's impending shutdown. with Warner Bros looking to sell the IP to another company instead of keeping it.
