  • The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: In "Hex and the Single Guy" when informed that the family could have another seance on Saturday morning, Carlton scoffs and says, "What, and miss Saved by the Bell?"
  • Married... with Children: In the "I Want My Psycho Dad" first part, when Bud and Kelly fool Al into thinking his favorite show has returned, the former quips about a fictional show called Saved by the Bell: The Prison Years.
  • Law & Order: Criminal Intent: In "Blasters", the Victim of the Week, a Former Child Star, had starred in a Saved by the Bell expy called Goofin' Around that Detective Wheeler was a fan of when she was younger.

    • In "Screech's Spaghetti Sauce", when advertising the eponymous sauce on their class morning show in a commercial, when the front doorbell rings at one point, Slater happily cries out, "Hey, we're saved by the bell!"
    • In "No Hope with Dope", after the gang finished recording an anti-drug public service announcement with then-NBC chairman Brandon Tartikoff, he becomes inspired by the group and his old friend Mr. Belding to possibly make a "new, hip show about a high school principal and his kids", only to shoot it down in the belief that it would never work.
  • Young Sheldon: In "A Second Prodigy and the Hottest Tips for Pouty Lips", after Sheldon answers the crush quiz to determine if Sheldon has a crush on Paige, Missy says "You're crushing harder than Zack [Morris] on Kelly Kapowski."

  • Popular Funny or Die web series Zack Morris is Trash displays Zack Morris' more questionable antics by means of Ron the Death Eater.
  • The Nostalgia Critic:
    • He reviewed the series during the second season of his show, namely the "Running Zack", "Rockumentary" and the "Pipe Dreams" episodes.
    • During his review of Patch Adams at the scene when Patch places a pair of giant inflatable legs in front of a door to joke around with a group of visiting gynecologists, he mockingly cries out, "Zack Morris!"
    • The beginning of Cool as Ice has him saying that Vanilla Ice is the first guy to make Zack Morris look intimidating by comparison.
  • Todd in the Shadows:
    • To make a point about Taylor Swift's song "Fifteen", Todd talks about an event from his high school experience that deeply affected him emotionally, only to reveal that it didn't actually happen to him, it happened in Saved by the Bell.
    • In his review of From Justin to Kelly (a crossover with The Nostalgia Chick), Todd mockingly summarizes the movie's main characters by listing off the leads from Saved by the Bell as their pictures flash by on screen.

  • The Simpsons: One episode has Martin Prince organizing a Vegas night fundraiser and claiming that both the idea—and that its subsequent failure—were inspired by an episode of the show.
  • Family Guy: One cutaway has a Shot-for-Shot Remake of Jessie's caffeine pill freak out from "Jessie's Song" with Stewie as Jessie except with the line "And Screech is going to stab someone on Christmas" added.
  • Robot Chicken: One sketch has a crossover with the show and Saw where the six of them were held captive in a room similar to the first film (and had been able to bring the entire cast back to voice the characters save for Kelly and Jessie).
