- Dusty's actions from the last episode is the reason for why Randy is punishing him via desk duty in this one.
- Randall mentions he can no longer have kids due to Kevin shooting him in the balls, which was seen in a flashback in "Welcome to Paradise".
- Comically Small Bribe:
- The episode starts with Robby, Delbert, and William trying to get a loan in Paradise Bank to set up a carnival, but the bank employee meeting them refuses. Eventually, the employee just bribes them to go away with pocket change.
- Bullet bribes the game host to let Crystal win a game with a measly five dollars.
- Conservation of Ninjutsu: Randall fights an entire army of ninjas all by himself and wins.
- Eye Pop: Played With. Bullet's eyes pop out of his head and his tongue rolls out, when he first sees Crystal. When this happens, he notices his face is getting all fucked up and blames it on the carny drugs he's been taking.
- Forced to Watch: Everyone pretending to be stuffed toys to watch Crystal are forced to watch her having sex with her boyfriend when he suddenly shows up and they make up.
- Flashback: This episode has several.
- An expository flashback shows that at the turn of the millennium, Randall jerked off into an ice cube tray and put it in the freezer while Karen changed Kevin's diaper by herself.
- Another flashback gives us insight into Wendell's past as a shit-picker, where he makes a living off of whatever stuff he picks out of other people's shit. This means that when a young Robby finds a diamond ring on the floor, his father makes him put it back.Wendell: If they don't shit it, we don't git it.
- Finally, we get a flashback from the samurai leader, who tells the tale of his sexual past with Hopson.
- Freudian Slip: Kevin repeatedly says embarrassing things to Gina without meaning to.
- Gag Penis: Kevin's penis is given a very detailed description by Petey, who makes it out to be horribly disfigured, to the point of being almost monster-like.Petey: This pee-pee was hunched over, like its spirit had been broken. It was like an M. Night Shyamalan movie. Dull and creepy with an unnecessary twist at the end.
- Hall of Mirrors: Kevin and Gina go into one of these and hilarity ensues. In there, Kevin sees the reflection of a little boy, who he mistook for Gina and then exposed himself to him, scarring poor little Petey for life.
- If I Do Not Return: Randall when he's about to confront the Samurai Lord to defend Hopson.Randall: If I die, tell my wife.... she's a bitch for making me do this!
- Loophole Abuse: Randall punishes Dusty with desk duty (for harassing and extorting the donut shop owned by Frank and his son from the last episode) and is not allowed to go to the carnival. Dusty blackmails Fitz into getting him there while he still sits in the desk.
- Mistaken for Pedophile: In the carnival, Kevin accidentally flashes a child named Petey, leading to a plot where Gina investigates a pedophile at the carnival. Thankfully, the only thing the child remembers is that said penis was incredibly small and ugly.
- Modesty Towel: Crystal wears one after coming out of the shower.
- Ms. Fanservice: Crystal is this for this episode. She's a Head-Turning Beauty that wears rather Stripperific clothing and becomes the Lust Object to Bullet immediately after seeing her. She also keeps telling people she Sleeps in the Nude (not even underwear).
- Ready for Lovemaking: While he and Gina were at the Hall of Mirrors, Kevin convinced himself to strip naked and present himself to Gina as a way to confess. But he just ends up flashing a child instead and gets Mistaken for Pedophile.
- Running Gag: Randall shaking Hopson (and Hobo Cop) and screaming at them every time they defecate.Randall: STOOOOOOP SHIIIIIIIITTIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Sleeps in the Nude: Played for Laughs with Crystal, who keeps saying that she sleeps naked to people, seemingly not noticing it arouses them. The reason she wanted to win a stuffed animal is because she "wanted to rub it on her naked body as she slept". This leads to Bullet trying to pretend to be a stuffed animal just at the chance of seeing her naked... only to find out he's not the only guy who thought of this.
- Take That!: Plenty at Mitch McConnell for looking like a turtle.
- Toy Disguise: Bullet pretends to be a stuffed animal so Crystal would take him home. Only to discover all her stuffed animals are already other guys who are doing the same thing, all so they can watch as she Sleeps in the Nude.
- Ungrateful Bastard: After Dusty lands on top of the dragon that was about to eat Randall and knocks the dragon out unconscious with his huge weight, Randall exclaims Dusty saved his life. But then Dusty falls out of his chair, and Randall is angry about this and punishes Dusty with an additional 3 months of desk duty.
