Basic Trope: If it reduces you to atoms, it kills you. Period.
- Straight: The Unstoppable Marauder is finally put down by a barrage of highly explosive projectiles.
- Exaggerated: A single well-aimed bullet to the head puts the Unstoppable Marauder down for good.
- Downplayed: While it doesn't completely destroy him, a steady series of attrition attacks greatly weaken the Unstoppable Marauder.
- Justified: You can't maraude if you don't have a body to do it in, and you can't really heal yourself if you're reduced to Ludicrous Gibs.
- Inverted:
- The Unstoppable Marauder shrugs off every concievable attack.
- Hit Points are explicitly mentioned as probability manipulating and will ensure survival. The Chosen One has enough of them that a nuke detonating at ground zero would leave him apparently physically unharmed.
- Subverted: It appears as if an attack worked... until the Unstoppable Marauder comes back From a Single Cell.
- Parodied: "Unstoppable, eh? Let's see how he feels after a few computer-targeted ICBMs."
- Zig Zagged: The Unstoppable Marauder proves to be immune to conventional attacks at first, but an analysis of its composition eventually leads the attackers to find a weak point, which they exploit, eventually resulting in the Marauder's demise.
- Averted: The Unstoppable Marauder can be defeated by any attack, provided it is powerful enough.
- Enforced: The usual technique for putting down enemies proves to be the best one for the Unstoppable Marauder.
- Lampshaded: The attackers figure the best thing to do is keep plugging away and hope something sticks.
- Invoked: The defense team pulls a Hail Mary against the Unstoppable Marauder, if not to save themselves then to buy others some time.
- Exploited: Because the same method used to kill the Unstoppable Marauder can be used to kill any target, a fortune is saved on research and development for new weapons.
- Defied: The Unstoppable Marauder can only be killed by the One True Murder Weapon, and nothing else.
- Discussed: The question of whether the Unstoppable Marauder is a totally unstoppable force is posited, as is the existence of an immovable object which can defeat him.
- Conversed: A team of crack scientists explain how deconstructing anything down to its physio-chemical components kills it in the process.
- Implied: The sheer destructive power of the attack reduces every other target to ashes, so it stands to reason that the Unstoppable Marauder is toast.
- Deconstructed: The gung-ho attitude taken toward defeating the Unstoppable Marauder leaves no remains left to study, leaving the whole encounter with it an unsolvable mystery.
- Reconstructed: Who cares? At least the thing's dead... probably.
