Dominic Richard Harrison (born 5 August 1997), better known as YUNGBLUD (pronounced "Youngblood"), is an English singer, songwriter and actor from Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
After a brief spell as a child actor (during which he appeared in one episode of Emmerdale as well as a show on Disney Channel), he began his music career in 2017 with the singles "King Charles", "I Love You, Will You Marry Me" and "Tin Pan Boy", following them up with his debut EP, YUNGBLUD and his debut album 21st Century Liability. In 2019, he scored two hit singles, both duets produced by Travis Barker - "11 Minutes" with Halsey and "I Think I'm Okay" with Machine Gun Kelly, before releasing another EP, The Underrated Youth. His second album, Weird!, was released in late 2020 and peaked at the top of the UK Albums Chart and reached number 75 on the US Billboard 200, followed up by his third album, YUNGBLUD (not to be confused with his earlier EP of the same title) in 2022. This album became his second number 1 album in the UK. He has received criticism for his persona, which is often mistaken for punk (although he does not consider himself to be one), as well as some of his behaviour during stage performances. He sees himself and his fans as forming a subculture-like societal movement, and has a personal philosophy based mainly around love and self-expression.
