"Kamen Rider. They are masked heroes that protect mankind. Armed within the Deck, Kurogasa Kururugi ventures out to the prestigious Duel Academy as he sets on his journey to find his father and determine the path of his destiny. Henshin!"

A Crossover of Kamen Rider and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX created by Fenikkusumaru. The story begins with Kurogasa Kururugi, a young boy with a Kamen Rider deck featuring the Heisei era Riders, attends the prestigious Duel Academy and manages to make his way into Ra Yellow. Along the way he meets Jaden Yuki, Syrus Truesdale, Alexis Rhodes and Bastion Misawa. With them and some old and new friends, he begins his search for his missing father, the creator of the Kamen Rider Deck. However, the darkness of the Shadow Realm begins to surface once more and Kurogasa must make the heavy choices and the right moves to come out alive.

While it is a rewrite of the first two seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, the story has its own blend of interesting OC's and various differences from the TV Series, such as the cameo appearance of the WWE, the Chazz-a-nova episode being discarded for a brand new plot (Much to the fans delight), and the various Kamen Riders from both Heisei, Neo-Heisei and Showa Eras, the series leaves you sitting at the edge of the chair.

As of July 9, 2013 the first season is Completed, with the Second Season, Society of Light, being in its ongoing phase.

You can find the stories here and here.

Important Tropes after chapter 30 will be under spoilers

  • Academy of Adventure: No need to explain this one...
  • Alas, Poor Villain: Tarakudo, Kurogasa's Uncle, was possessed by the Big Bad Orpheus and thus has to spend the rest of eternity in the Shadow Realm
  • The Ace: Jaden, possibly Kurogasa as well as he wins most of his duels.
  • Autobots, Rock Out!: Several chapters have the Kamen Rider themes for the respective Kamen Rider.
  • Badass Biker: Being a crossover with Kamen Rider, this is to be expected. However, this takes a while for Kurogasa to get his own bike.
  • Berserk Button: Never call Mamori short. she will bite your head off. Kurogasa has one too as he hates to see girls be treated like property or trophies due to what happened with a friend.
  • Big Bad: The Shadow Riders and Orpheus
    • In Season 2, we have, but who else, the Society of Light's Sartorius. Oh, and Kamen Rider Sorcerer.
  • Advertisement:
  • Big Damn Heroes
  • Butt-Monkey: Chazz, as expected.
  • Black Magician Girl: Guess who makes an appearance, and becomes part of Kurogasa's deck?
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: The Shadow Riders, but could be a form of possession also. Turns out Orpheus is possessing Tarakudo Shinryuu, Kurogasa's uncle on his mother's side.
  • The Cameo: The Paradox Brothers, Arkana, WWE, Yugi and Joey, Pegasus, Kaiba, the list goes on.
  • Card Games: Because it is SERIOUS BUSINESS!
  • Catchphrase: I am the soul of all Kamen Riders, Kamen Rider Duelist!
  • Childhood Friends: Kurogasa, Koji, and Rika have been friends for quite some time.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The gauntlet which somehow contains the spirit of Kurogasa's dead mother Yukina
  • Cool Bike: Kurogasa rides one on the way to the Duel Academy Exams.
  • Combining Mecha: This is done during the Rider War, by SYRUS no less!
  • Despair Event Horizon: Kurogasa goes through this once he learns from Orpheus that his mother died giving birth to him and is responsible for most of Tarakudo's actions. Subverted as his friends talk him out of it, as well as the spirit of his dead mother.
  • Disco Dan: Koji is the living embodiment of this. From the way he dresses to his speech and mannerisms, he lives, talks, breathes everything disco. This also stems to his monsters, the disco-themed Boogie Knights.
  • Empathic Weapon: The Kamen Riders are a deck with their own spirits.
  • Expy: Kurogasa's hair is described as being similar to Kira Yamato and has the surname of Suzaku, which is standard fare for Fenikkusumaru's stories.
  • Evil Counterpart: The Dark Kamen Riders. Orpheus to Kurogasa.
  • Gratuitous English
    • Gratuitous Japanese: The Kururugis, Kouji, and Rika are practically the only ones who use any form of Japanese in the series, seeing as he is adapting from the dubbed anime, which, again, is standard fare for Fenikkusumaru's stories.
  • Henshin Hero: And Kurogasa, becoming Kamen Rider Duelist with the aid of his deck.
  • Loads and Loads of Characters: The main characters are the Canon Cast as well as the OC. That's nearly 20.
  • Love Makes You Evil
  • Kurogasa, I Am Your Uncle
  • Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Oh yes. The story starts out as a crossover between Kamen Rider and Yu-Gi-Oh GX but then loads of other franchises are introduced through the various decks and original characters. Such franchises include Fighting Foodons, Ronin Warriors, and Final Fantasy.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: Kinda inverted as Kurogasa becomes a Kamen Rider mid story.
  • Nice Guy: Kurogasa's personality most of the time.
  • One-Winged Angel: Orpheus gets this post chapter 42. Kurogasa gets one literally resembling an angel.
  • Original Character: The main character as well as several.
  • Our Spirits Are Different Very much so. For one thing, the Taros can posses Kurogasa just like they could in Den-o.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Kurogasa delivers one to Chazz on what he thinks of his skills and his opinion of Obelisk Blue.
  • Redemption Equals Death: poor poor Kurai... Subverted when he is brought back in the end.
  • Serious Business
  • Shipper on Deck: Rika REALLY likes shipping people together. Kurogasa and Alexis, Koji and Marta, Syrus and Mamori. She certainty has a problem though when she is being Shipped with Jaden.
  • Shrinking Violet: Mamori Yamamoto is this and always clinging to Marta Aozaki, until you call her short.
  • Shout-Out: Where to begin?
  • Tsundere: Rika has Type-B shades of this towards Jaden
  • Wrestler in All of Us: WWE makes an appearance twice in story. The first time during the School Duel and the second time its for an official show at Duel Academy on Duel Monsters Spirit Day. Kurogasa, Jaden and Koji each participate in a fight against The Shield, alongside The Rock, The Undertaker and Ryback. And they show they got the moves.
  • You Can't Fight Fate
