Robert Wesley Addy (August 4, 1913 – December 31, 1996) was an American stage and screen actor. Born in Omaha and raised largely in California, he majored in economics before changing his focus to theatre. He was best known for Kiss Me Deadly, Network, and The Verdict.
Addy served in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II. The fourth husband of actress Celeste Holm, he remained married to Holm for thirty years, until his death of undisclosed causes at the age of 83.
