• The Peter Principle: He is an excellent commander when it comes to jungle warfare and counter-insurgency, but he isn't all that skilled at governing, nor does he show much interest in it outside of the parts involving fighting the Revolutionary Army of Vietnam, meaning that various local Sultans and Lord Mountbatten have had to step up to run things in his absence.

The son of Charles Brooke, Vyner was educated in Britain and served incognito in the Royal Navy during the Far Eastern Naval Campaign. Shortly thereafter he would marry Sylvia Brett, the daughter of Great War general Reginald Brett, and return to Sarawak to be crowned following the death of his father.

Vyner's reign has overseen a myriad of reforms to the public service and an expansion of the Raj's importance in the British sphere. A booming oil and rubber industry have lead Sarawak to become the jewel of the British Far East. His hands-off rule has fostered a degree of genuine popularity with the local population, however there is significant pressure from the Council Negri to relinquish more of his powers to a constitution. While the Rajah has resisted this constitutionalist pressure for some time, the resurgence of a Pan-Asianist Japan playing pied piper to would be revolutionaries across the region may force him to embrace constitutionalism and further local autonomy.

With the rising tensions in the recent years in the Pacific the now Admiral Dönitz was dispatched as Statthalter to the Pacific Commonwealth. There he hopefully shall root out rising internal resistance and shield the colonies from foreign aggression.

However if we look under the facade of Admiral Dönitz we might learn more about what a man he truly is.

• Reassigned to Antarctica: As Russia began to liberalize, reactionary elements of the military that posed a threat to Russian democracy were reassigned to Manchuria, Mongolia, and even Russian America. Unfortunately for the Russian government, this meant that said reactionary officers were able to form the Moscow Circle in Harbin, meaning that Zheltorossiya became a breeding ground for the Moscow Circle and other reactionary elements, far away from St. Petersburg's meddling.

In-Game Biography ^{Click to Show} The Council of Five is an unofficial government system within the British Empire established under the reign of Queen-Empress Victoria. While previously Commonwealth Governor Generals were appointed under advisement from London, it became unofficial policy to place Victoria's growing number of grandchildren across the Empire. This was done as a means to both curtail any upstart princes, as well as to foster a greater familial imperial identity. Though they only carry so much power as their individual offices allow, Council of Five Governors work closely with London and the Crown, although some carry their own personal ambitions.

Appointed in 1907, Prince Leopold was the eighth child of Queen Victoria and one of the two remaining direct sons of the Queen on the Council. Leopold's appointment came in the midst of the Great War, with London believing that a direct heir as Governor General would bolster Victorian morale in the Australian Campaign. Instead, Leopold's influence became overshadowed by his wife, Daisy Greville. Greville greatly strengthened the Victorian labor party, and numerous philanthropic efforts ingratiated the Governor General to the population. Leopold ultimately shifted away from public life in 1919 following an attempted assassination by the Australien Revanchist Front, while his wife remains an outspoken socialist and suffragette.
