• Does This Remind You of Anything??: Madara's kidnapping of Rin, and sealing the three-tailed-turtle within her against her will, is disturbingly similar to sexual assault. Kishimoto could've have him molest her instead, and her suicide would still have the same impact.

This sounds like reaching to me, I don't remember seeing the kidnapping or sealing at all in the manga. Was it shown in the anime, and if so, was it shown in that sort of way?

Anti-Climax Boss: "[...] Kaguya, aka the first human to ever wield chakra [...]" She is shown coming to Earth as a sort of meteor, so we can't be sure she's human. Naruto Wikia classifies her as alien as well.

Shin-ichiro Miki voiced a man in a yaoi hentai named Kairaku no Houteishiki Level-C (快楽の方程式 Level-C, ‘Pleasure Equation Level-C’) (from July 14, 1995) sleeping with a young man named Mizuki, then voiced another Mizuki on Naruto (started airing Oct. 3, 2002). To boot, that Mizuki was voiced by Akira Ishida, who would later voice Kaworu Nagisa (started airing Oct. 4, 1995). Can this be listed under Hilarious in Hindsight or is that too much, or is the order reversed?

Please, someone, delete Dirty Old Man from Obito Entry. Being in 30s in not old. And his bickering with Deidara is not even flirting!

Is it possible to add a Studio Pierrot entry to the Internet Backdraft section? A lot of the fan reaction towards Hinata is directly related to the studio, and especially with the The Last they have been a contentious topic amongst fans.

Methinks that Tobi/Madara needs an additional entry.

I Knew It!: Double Subverted. The fandom guessed fairly early on that he was Obito having done a Face–Heel Turn, citing his goofy demeanor, single eye hole on his mask, and his hairstyle as signs that this was Obito. This was seemingly Jossed when he started referring to himself as Madara Uchiha...but then several hundred chapters later, the original guess turned true.

Why the heck does the first entry pothole to Weird Al?

As with the ending of manga, whole shipping side of story has turned into Pandering to the Base with movies, novels and supplementary material and I suggest adding this to page.

Just a small correction that should be made to Rin Nohara's folder under the Ass Pull trope. Rin was forcibly made the THREE-tails jinchuriki, not the TEN-tails jinchuriki

I'm amazed that there hasn't been an update to this page to reflect how ass-blasted people are over the final pairings. It's kind of a big deal.

Any hypothesis of this page ever be unlocked? I know it was made to curb edit wars, but I think it is actually causing more harm than good. All this bureaucracy to add entries is not working very well, it is in this way for years and it is now extremely outdated. It is just frustrating for people who actually want to to contribute.

I think we need to add another bullet to the Shocking Swerve tab, reading thusly:

• The entire plot involving Kaguya, as it was not even hinted at until late in the World War Arc and less than fifty chapters after she was first mentioned she was made into the series' true Big Bad with Black Zetsu as her Dragon who set all of ninja history in motion solely for her resurrection to occur so she could take over the world.

How about adding * Inferred Holocaust: cause the first day of the 4th war the ninja force was cut down In half from 80 thousand to 40 thousand. That night the zetsu army ravished a lot more ninjas lives. The next morning the edo tensies joined in, some zetsus killed enough for a big platoon. Then madara showed up and wipped out most of the fourth devision. Once the jubi was summond it destroyed the ninja headquaters and then moukuton spiked a bunch more to death. And then the god tree came and took even more lives, and then there are all the random explosions that could have done god knows what. So in the end the total living ninja has to be very low

It Was His Sled: The real Madara Uchiha being revealed as the series' true Big Bad was a huge spoiler at the time, but after nearly three years, it's become nearly impossible to hide the fact.

I'd like to say the same about Obito, with the exception, "Tobi not being the real Madara Uchiha was a major Wham Episode when first discovered, but at this point, keeping said fact a secret has become nearly impossible."

Why is this page still locked, just out of curiosity? It's been that way for over a year and a half now, and the page has become incredibly outdated as a result.

On a side note, going by the last non-moderator edit to the page, I find it hilarious that Madara gaining New Powers as the Plot Demands was seen as growing tedious and implausible in mid-2012. If only we knew...

I think it's worth mentioning under Karin's Rescued From The Scrappy heap that she inexplicably bounced back to Sasuke. A LOT of people I've seen began hating her again because of that.

Can we add Moe for Hinata? She's listed on the Moe page.

Could somebody please remove Complete Monster from Obito? He is a Freudian Excuse Well-Intentioned Extremist Anti-Villain, cares about Rin, and in flashbacks he was a very nice person.

Don't want to kick off another Edit War, so let's thrash this out here: Uchiha Madara (the REAL one that is) is a TOTAL Villain Sue. Yeah, he's only really a puppeteered Giant Mook in story terms, but he's also capable of matching all 5 Kages at once without even trying and constantly talks down to them about how weak they are. Let me remind you that the Kages are, by definition the most powerful ninja in their villages (except the jinchuuriki) and Madara admits that he was just toying with them for lulz. And why is he so strong? He just is.

Then there's all that tripe about how the only one who could ever match him was Senju Hashirama, which is a total retcon. We MET Senju Hashirama way back when he AND his brother AND Orochimaru took on a retirement-age Sarutobi Hiruzen WAY back in the Invasion of Konoha arc and they couldn't beat him. Suddenly Hashirama is retconned into this "unbeatable god" who is the only one who could match Madara, which is used as some kind of justification for Madara claiming to be as strong as the bijuu.

In all seriousness, Madara really has to count as a Villain Sue even if he IS just a puppet of Kabuto and Tobi. He's basically unbeatable and has godlike strength with absolutely NO plausible justification for it, just to create fake tension in the battle with the kages. I thought the theme of Naruto was that each new generation surpasses the one before it?

Can you confirm on the YMV page that Tobi is Obito and remove the bits saying his identity is uncertain. Has recently been confirmed in the Manga.

• Unintentionally Sympathetic: An unusual case given the mangaka's fondness for Anti Villains. Given how he's regarded by the characters, what he does for a living and his not getting a flashback upon his death, it seems we're meant to view Kakuzu as a Complete Monster the same as his partner Hidan; the problem is that his serious attitude and lack of sadism compared to Hidan - coupled with him actually having both a legitimate Freudian Excuse and intriguing backstory - creates an audience which is more inclined to sympathise with him. It could just be a botched execution, but this doesn't make it less jarring.

• Epileptic Trees: Many theories have been made about his identity. They were all seemingly Jossed when he was revealed to be Madara… and back again now that he's revealed to only pretend being him. The most popular one is probably him being Obito, or someone using his corpse, due to the similarities between his techniques and Kakashi's Kamui technique. And his name.

Okay, I can understand deleting Danzo from the Complete Monster page, but why was my comment about Danzo on the YMMV page deleted? Threatening orphans in order to get a kunoichi who quit and became a nun back into the game counts as crossing the Moral Event Horizon in my book, and I doubt I'm alone in that sentiment, especially after all the other stunts Danzo has pulled.

This entry has become the subject of an Edit War. Sort it out here rather than edit warring, please.

• Creator's Pet: Sasuke is The Scrappy for a big part of the Western fandom. Yet, from the onset of part II onward, pretty much everything has to be about him. The rest of the cast is obsessive over him, he becomes powerful beyond imagination, he stays one step ahead of everyone and does not ever get his comeuppance for anything. Interesting in that unlike many Creator's Pets, his deeds and decisions are not depicted in a positive light. This is rounded out later when Naruto, once again, starts catching up with him using equally ridiculous instant power-ups. (We will leave the question of where this leaves Sakura as an exercise to the reader.)
