This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

I would like to suggest the following addition to the locked Green Eyes page.
- Attack on Titan has two significant examples among the cast. Protagonist Eren Yeager is given vibrant, teal-green eyes in the anime to signify his passionate nature and mysterious powers of unknown nature. In comparison, Bertolt Hoover has a dark, muted shade of green that hints at certain hidden aspects of his character — namely, his untrustworthy nature as The Mole and inhuman powers as the Colossal Titan.

On Monster.Anime And Manga, please replace the current Deadman Wonderland entries with those that have been updated and approved by the cleanup thread. Here are the new entries:
- Deadman Wonderland
- Formerly a reclusive and indifferent otaku, Tsunenaga Tamaki becomes a tyrant who cares for absolutely nothing but himself and his games. Case in point: when the Great Tokyo Earthquake occurs, he leaves his mother to die so he could find a backup generator. He is also responsible for designing the prison and forcing prisoners to participate in Death Games by poisoning them upon arrival and only awarding antidotes to their winners. As a sadist who sees defeating the Wretched Egg as a game, he also creates the Forgeries, prisoners who are turned into artificial Deadmen and brainwashed into obeying Tamaki's orders.
- Rinichiro Hagire, the prison's real director and the series' Big Bad, is a sadistic sociopath who will do just about anything for his research. Using Shiro as a guinea pig for research on how to improve a person's immune system, Hagire becomes obsessed over his subject's ability to regenerate. From crucifixion to vivisection, Hagire grows fond of conducting brutal experiments on her and becomes directly responsible for her becoming the Wretched Egg. He also manipulates Chan and En to use their Branch of Sin to invade and override other people's bodies and personalities when he's on the verge of death (including victims such as Toto Sakigami) and cannibalizes the remains of defeated Deadmen.

I think these should be added to Tumblr:
- (add to Berserk Button) Cultural reappropriation, for a lot of SJWs. This includes wearing dreadlocks or bindis by white people. While the former have been worn by peoples from India all the way to Africa (and, by extention, the Caribbeans) and bindis are now worn throughout the entire Indian subcontinent regardless of age, sex, or creed, SJWs often point out that people from the cultures dreadlocks and bindis originated in face far harsher consequences (being deemed ‘unprofessional’ or prone to racist remarks) compared to white people doing it.
- Stealth Parody: Many Trolls pretend to be extreme SJWs. They’re fairly obvious to spot—they often use as many labels as possible, often including mutually exclusive ones and absurd ones (‘plantkin’), and exaggerate real points of contention to illogical extremes (such as claiming that white people learning Spanish are committing cultural reappropriation). They manage to fool a lot of people, mostly non-SJWs, who use them as examples to bash the SJW community.

Some of those may violate Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment, and a lot of Nazi sympathizers on a world wide site with a lot of users isn't actually a lot of Nazi sympathizers. Just a few on a site of 1 Million people (remember 1% of 1 million is 10,000) can look like a lot, but actually there aren't that many compared to other users.

On Brother–Sister Incest, please remove the link BrotherSisterIncest.Opera. The subpage is cutlisted, as it contains only one example duplicated in the Theater subpage. Opera and Theater don't usually get separated folders or subpages anyway.
On FiveManBand.Anime W-Z, please correct "[[{{Zoids}} Zoids: Genesis]]" with "Anime/ZoidsGenesis".

Suggesting this modification for YMMV/Tumblr:
- If something is considered bigoted (whether it actually is or not is worth another discussion), consider it as good as dead to Tumblr.
I've seen a lot of stuff that's been lambasted for racism and whatnot, and a huge amount of Internet Backdraft to ensue, only for someone more informed to eventually point out that it's intentionally misleading or faked, and one of the biggest reasons even earnest social justice people hold Tumblr in disdain for is their eagerness to buy into hoaxes. I guess it also ties back to the True Art Is Angsty, where they tried to do that with the horse dildo post.
