Tropes from The 2000s that have an on-page example count lesser than 20 or a wick count lesser than 25. For future discussions on the Trope Repair Shop. Definition-Only Pages don't belong here. Sorted by date.

Parameters obtained from this Ask The Tropers query.

The wick counts on the headers refer to the amount at the moment these tropes were first checked, not after they underwent some sort of fixing. Example counts shouldn't include general examples (see the How to Write an Example guidelines) or real-life ones.

''Winx Club': Played With. Alfea and Cloud Tower are rival magic schools that teach fairies and witches, respectively —with their students occasionally engaging in street fights and regarding competitions as very Serious Business. In the second season, they become allies to fight against the season's Big Bad, Lord Darkar. In an attempt to protect Cloud Tower's Codex piece (the MacGuffin Darkar is after), Alfea's headmistress seams a team of fairies to Cloud Tower, the eponymous Winx Club. To continue their magical education while they are away, they are required to attend witch classes where they learn a little bit about negative magic. Cloud Tower's headmistress notices that Bloom, the Winx's leader, takes to it way more easily than any other fairy, probably because of Darkar's agent secretly corrupting her, and tries to convince her to become a witch. The suggestion only troubles Bloom and is foreshadowing about her having a dark side.
