A one to five minute mini-act at the end of a show, after the dramatic climax of the episode but before (or even during) the end credits, used to show the effects or aftermath of the episode. It might be a humorous Oh, Cisco! ending (think Friends or Frasier), or move a little bit of Story Arc plot along in a self-contained episode (think Farscape). The British spy-series The Avengers usually ended with a humorous one, often completely unrelated to the main plot. Compare That's All, Folks!, which is a short segment that lets the audience know the show's over, and The Stinger, which comes after the credits.
