• Originally just known as Solus zos Galvus, the founder of the Garlemald Empire, it was made known by many that the founder of the Empire was an Ascian, the Greater-Scope Villain group that manipulated much of the history of the Source. Having seen the failure of his fellow Ascians, Emet-Selch took direct action to ensure the Ascians goal of bringing about the Rejoining in order to bring about their god Zodiark. To that end, he slightly assisted the Warrior of Light during their time in the First in hopes of convincing them to join their cause. His past was eventually revealed to Warrior of Light and their allies; he is one of the few Sole Survivor of a race of Benevolent Precursors who were faced with an apocalypse so horrible that to save it, half of the population sacrificed itself to summon Zodiark to restore the fractured reality. In doing so however, many feared Zodiark's power and created his equal; Hydaelyn. The two's battle destroyed the world and split it into fourteen fragmented stars. Overcome with guilt, Emet worked to restore his fallen brethren, at any cost. Although he nearly achieved his goals, the assistance of the Warrior of Lights friends and allies successfully allowed them to defeat Emet-Selch, even when using his full power. Before passing, he asked that his people be remembered.
• Upon seeing the scale of his ability to create things, he was ascended quickly into the Pantheon. To elaborate on this: Emet and his people were capable of creating anything that came to their mind by simply manipulating the Aether itself to do so. His people were capable of creating concepts, creatures, items, places, etc, and part of their process was to document and store them for later usage. This ended up being what lead to their doom, as something horrible caused many of his kind to lose control of this and create horrific creatures that brought the world so its near end. When asked to demonstrate his power, Emet did so by creating an entire city before those who wanted to know, complete with semi-functioning people. Of course, its power was not permanent, but from that moment on, nobody doubted his deserving of the title.
• Don't try using a "Not So Different" Remark in an attempt to convince him to stop his goals. Its one of the few things that makes him legitimately angry, since after all he's worked to achieve, he refuses to have it be for naught. Riku once tried to convince him that he should find other ways to restore his lost friends and loved ones, but this earned a furious rant from the Ascian, asking him if he knew what it was like to lose everything such as your entire world. Riku attempted to press the issue further, but Emet-Selch left before Riku could press the issue further. Riku has expressed pity for the Ascian, but has kept an eye on him since.
• Gets along with Father, Mard Geer Tartaros, and Zamasu due to all of them sharing a dislike of mortals. Emet-Selch finds himself a bit put off by Zamasu's views though, and commented that the Supreme Kai should be careful when dealing with mortals as they can be quite troublesome if not handled properly.
• Despite disliking mortals in general, there are some mortals Emet-Selch has taken an interest in, either out of curiosity, or out of being not so different.
  • Gets along well with Master Xehanort, though it wasn't that surprising given how both seemed to have a similar motivation (restore a shattered world back to its original form) and even a similar method of doing so (use pawns as either vessels or allies and create enough conflict).
  • Aerith Gainsborough managed to catch his attention thanks to her status the last of the Ancients, and her ability to interact with The Lifestream. As someone capable of doing so in his world, he has attempted to convince the girl to share her knowledge of her people, but Aerith has refused each time.
  • Finds Relius Clover to be someone worth keeping an eye on. While he finds the man to be overly ambitious for his mortal limitations, the fact Relius has aspirations as grand as he does at least made Emet-Selch amused and actually hopeful for the mans work to bare fruits. Emet-Selch has on occasion had discussions about the nature of creation with him.
  • The Master of Chaldea was someone Emet-Selch initially wrote off as a lost cause, but upon seeing their journey and struggle, he became quite interested in the mortals ability to endure all their hardships. For a time, Emet was sure the Master was a fragmented Ascian like the Warrior of Light, but forced himself to ignore that out of concern. Still, he watches with anticipation, hoping to see them prove themselves a worthy being.
• Was quite annoyed to learn that Gaius van Baelsar had ascended in the past. While once he was a tool for Garlemald, now the former Legate has been working to undo the work his fellow Ascians have been trying to accomplish on the Source. Gaius attempted to confront Emet-Selch about him being an Ascian, at which point Emet dismissed him and told him to run along, prompting the former Legate to swear he would kill him to rid Garlemald of his corruption.
• At times he can found in the House of Theatre and Spectacle, where in he puts on an over dramatic, but for many entertaining, show for those to see. Even people who don't like him have a hard time denying liking it. On occasion, when asked why, Emet comments that even he needs a hobby. To that end, Emperor Nero has shown some respect to him.
  • His love for the theatrics has caused many a encounters with people who normally would try to stop him. To his amusement, he regularly requests they wait till he leaves, since a theater is no place for a brawl.
• Emet-Selch despises Cosmos, as she reminds him of Hydaelyn from his home world, who played a major role in bringing about the destruction of his world. As a result, though not truly having a personal reason to stand against her, Emet-Selch made it clear he would work to topple her. Cosmos was saddened to hear of his past, and stated she would have helped him, but that his actions do not justify the pain he has caused. His hatred of the Light has also made him an enemy of YHVH, as Emet-Selch sees his influence and power of Law as being just as bad as Cosmos.
  • As a result of his, Emet also hates' Cosmos protector, the Warrior of Light. To him, this Warrior is an imitation of the one from the Source, the one who used to be his friend in the past. When his comrade Elidibus took said Warrior's image to do battle with Hydaelyn's Champion, Emet smirked at the thought but decided not to make any comments at the Warrior's expense.
• Despite his views, he has very much is against those who engage in genocide as a result of the sheer loss his people suffered in the past. In particular, Thanos and the Anti-Spiral stand out as beings he detests heavily, the later being something he sees as a threat so great he has been willing to help stand against it, even mortals.
• Upon learning of H.P. Lovecraft and his mythos, Emet become unusually angry, ranting about idiotic the man was for his creations. He later clarified the reason as being how irresponsible the writer was for making such horrifying creatures and beings, ones of the same scale and terror as the ones that lead to the ruin of his world. Not only that, but the fact a human managed to make them, reinforced his hatred for mortal lives.
• Doesn't really like the the Daedric Princes that much on account of how they are similar to Primals back in his world, but the fact that the Princes all have such influence over mortals and are more grand in power makes them irresponsible as far as he's concerned. Emet-Selch has avoided their attention however, not out of fear, but because he really doesn't feel like engaging with them or their followers, especially the irritatingly insane Sheogorath.
• During a trip around the Pantheon, Emet-Selch ran into Oryx, who had heard about the Ascian's past. Its not quite clear what happened next, but a massive fight broke out between the two, with the only known reason being that Oryx told Emet-Selch that his people deserved their fate, which was enough for Emet to invoke his true form to fight out of sheer anger. Both later were seen back in their temples, but since then Emet-Selch has put the Lich on his list of personal enemies.
• Darth Plagueis does not like Emet that much, finding the Ascian to be a rival of sorts that threatens his abilities to manipulate the Force. Emet finds the idea laughable and used the chance to taunt the Sith about how limited his abilities were by comparison.
• He is expressly forbidden from going to the House of Heroism due to his negative views of heroes thanks to the events of his past that lead to so much loss. Emet-Selch doesn't mind of course, he finds the notion of "heroes" to be laughable, and would rather focus his attention on something more productive. That said, he had been spotted watching the house, almost as if waiting for the chance that a certain Warrior of Light ascends.
  Emet-Selch: The world has had its share of Heroes. I care not for such flawed aspirations.
• The Reveal he was The Man Behind the Man for both the Garlean Empire, and the Allagan Empire has made him the enemy of many freedom fighters such as Micaiah, Jim Raynor, and Lelouch vi Britannia. Among his enemies however, the Emperor of Mankind took the most offense to the Ascians meddling and manipulations, as having learned of the goals of the shadowy figures, was furious to learn humanity was just a pawn in their schemes.
• His current goal in the Pantheon has remained true; the revival of Zodiark, but his methods have changed since entering the Pantheon, and nobody can tell what his goal is. He has been seen helping some of the more good aligned Gods by providing information or minor help, but also telling them flatly that he has not changed. His more evil aligned allies and Gods have questioned why he would help those he considers beneath him, which earned a shrug.
  • According to some, his goal is to help usher in another Calamity, this time in the pantheon, with some fearing he plans on helping The Light of Destruction become stronger so that it will birth Sin Eaters in the Pantheon, and bring about another Flood of Light. When asked by the people who should be enemies if he is plotting something, he usually smirks and tells them truthfully he is.
  Emet-Selch: Every hour of every day. But never you mind about that. As I have told you a thousand times before: I like to watch. Nothing more.
• On a few occasions he has been seemingly killed, only to reappear in an exact replica of his primary body. This typically earns a sly comment from the Ascian, usually a taunt about how close they were to really beating him. Some have even goaded him to reveal his true form, which usually gets a chuckle out of Emet-Selch, before telling them how silly it would be for him to use his full power on what he sees as ants.
• Quite a few people noticed the one time he helped the Warrior of Light after his death. When asked, Emet refused to answer, stating he was in no position to explain that situation.

• Have you ever heard of the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought so, it's all over the Internet. Darth Plagueis was a Sith Lord so powerful and so wise he could manipulate the midi-chlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side he could even use the Force to keep the ones he cared about from dying. He became so powerful the only thing he feared was losing his power, which of course, eventually he did. Unfortunately he taught his apprentice everything he knew, and his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic; he could save others from death, but not himself.
• Spoken off in past tense by Palpatine, making him a very mysterious figure-all that's really concrete in canon is that he's Palpatine's old Sith Master, and was an Emperor Scientist in the making. According to the Legends continuity he was a Muun banker called Hego Damask trained under the Bith Darth Tenebrous(real name Rugess Nome). Said master organized his existence through eugenics as the perfect apprentice, to one day host his consciousness as part of his take on the Grand Plan. He put an end to that. Though Palpatine has being manipulating him for decades, maybe even since they met.
  • George Lucas has stated he planned him to be a Muun or Neimodian. His canon species, however, is unknown. He was originally meant to appear in The Force Unleashed as a Sith spirit.
• Notices similarities towards him and Lord Voldemort. He shares some physical similarities, and both are dark lords who wish to be immortal due to thanatophobia. However Plagueis is interested in physical immortality of the From a Single Cell variety, not the Soul Jar variety(though if he has no choice, he will rely on it). He's disdainful of Voldemort's more petty cruelty as with Palpatine, stating "I am an architect, not a butcher like the Sith of old". He respects Voldemort well enough to see him as a worthy competitor, but not an ally since Voldemort feels only he should live forever and reminds him too much of his treacherous apprentice.
• His desire for immortality has gotten him to work with Alex Wesker and the Master for it. Voldemort proved too much of competition, but she is more open about it and capable of working with him for the secret(even if the Master is using him). It has also driven him to want to unravel it from immortal figures like Jack Harkness, Fujiwara no Mokou, Czeslaw Meyer and Kenny. Given his reputation, none of them want him anywhere them since he'll use gruesome Sith experiments to uncover it. Fujiwara in particular due to helping to create the perfect immortality elixir long ago.
• It's said he and Palpatine planned to work together to coax the final secrets of the Dark Side out, hoping to rule for 10,000 years. Seeks to be an immortal ruler, but is more concerned with dominating the esoteric while letting his apprentice take care of the political. As such, he considers Vandal Savage a worthy competitor in this endgame ambition, another immortal ruler who could get in the way of his ambitions.
  • Covets the Mage of the Beginning's ability to possess her killer, since it would allow him to both be immortal while getting back at Palpatine for his betrayal.
• Implied to have immaculately created Anakin Skywalker, probably with Palpatine. That, or Palpatine used his knowledge to make Anakin. In Legends, the Force created Anakin as a response to their experimentation to one day destroy them. Depending on how you want to look at it, this could make him Luke and Leia's grandfather of sorts. Plagueis found it interesting that Vader helped destroy the Jedi Order, but is disappointed by his lost potential. The Skywalkers want to know just what his deal is, but he's not talking yet.
  • In Legends, Plagueis has a breathing apparatus due to an assassination plot. He took it in good humor in the pantheon, saying "like father like son, am I right?"
• It is unclear who his "loved ones" were, if they even existed. There's a strong implication that his apprentice was one of these, and even without loved ones he's certainly more noble than Palpatine. Taking notes from his apprentice's discussion about him, Plagueis will offer to help save other people's loved ones. Guthix and the Elric brothers for instance. This backfired as they have already had enough of that, particularly Edward and Alphonse, and told him to shove it up his ass.
• Some of his experimentation are particularly cruel, such as what happened to Darth Venamis. But while Sidious may be a sadist, Plagueis treats things with a Muun dispassion. He considers Professor Hojo and Fabius Bile's genetic engineering and expertise to be a great asset. The individuals, however, are disturbed in his eyes. He can barely tolerate working with them, particularly Fabius Bile, and only continues to do so for their knowledge.
• The Nostalgia Critic considers his tale the best thing in the prequels. Plagueis is flattered by this. He isn't flattered by the speech becoming an enormous meme however, though does appreciate the fact the fandom seems to adore him, with the theory that he's the Sequel Trilogy's Big Bad Snoke really popular. He's not however.
• Described by George Lucas as a sort of super-Sith, who seeks to subvert the natural cycle of life and death. Indeed, by some sources he may be the reason why the Sith imbalanced the Force. Most entities in charge of death dislike him due to his experimentations, shedding no tears for the "tragedy" of his death. Dhuum is the most up-front about his feelings towards the Sith Lord. Though a few speculate he may have somehow survived, but most agree that he's dead in both canon and Legends. According to the latter, Palpatine keeps his remains in one of two black urns in his office.
• Business partners with Morris and Jonathan Irons. He respects their vision. However reminds them Money Is Not Power, even if it is useful.
• When in his public persona, he'll often order coffee from Godot. This is because he was killed in his sleep, and he doesn't want it to happen again. He is justifiably pissed at Palpatine, but knew that was part of the job and has some pride towards him for completing Bane's Grand Plan. He also tries to avoid the House of Alcohol since in Darth Plagueis, his apprentice got his incredibly inebriated and sleepy so he could Force Lightning him to death.
  • Depending on the source he died either during The Phantom Menace or right before Darth Maul's apprenticeship. Does not think much of Maul due to being so Obviously Evil, when the Sith of Darth Bane's line are supposed to be sneaky and subtle.
• Intrigued by Cell, seeing him as a genetic masterpiece, though considers him rather dangerous. Also intrigued by Xerneas for being able to restore a forest, the Life Entity for being the embodiment of life.
• For a Sith Lord, he's rather polite to droids given how much of the galaxy seems them. And in spite of his cold personality, there is some sympathy towards SCP-1440 due to how he was cursed by Death, even if he doesn't quite get immortality in itself as a curse. This might have something to do with how it's implied the Force screwed him over for his own experimentation.
• Heard of a tale in the House of Prophecy of what would have happened had Plagueis killed Palpatine the night the latter was supposed to kill him. He has not made any comments.

• SCP-040, also known as Evolution's Child, is an Euclid-class SCP that happens to be an eight year old girl. Though having a sweet personality, she has the somewhat disturbing ability to manipulate organic matter, capable of modifying living organisms or creating new life-forms. The result has been classified as instances of SCP-040-1, who show behavior similar to that of a household pet. It requires focus however, or else the results can get...ugly.
• Currently allowed custody of three instances of SCP-040-1. The first being a symbiotic creature capable of shapeshifting and has cat DNA (SCP-040-1a), a spherical being who's capable of replicating musical patterns and floats with helium-filled bladders (SCP-040-1c) and a wall-crawling quadrupedal creature with colorful pink and blue fur (SCP-040-1j). 1c shares a lot in common with Drifblim, and to help her psychological health the SCP Foundation will let the Pokemon play with her and 1c. Given it's said that the Drifloon line kidnaps children they're keeping more of an eye on Drifblim.
• She seems fond of Pokemon in general, given they're known for being exotic and powerful creatures like many of her creations. Due to his compassion towards other Pokemon, N appreciates this and has shown kindness and appreciation towards her creations. Admittedly some of them creep him out a bit. She feels bad for Bandit, Tinker and Pirate for the experimentation they went to. Sure, she modifies living beings, but treats the results with kindness and has no interest in weaponizing them.
• Gets along with Reubus Hagrid as well, as the two are fond of some rather bizarre and dangerous creatures. She is fond of playing with the different animals in the House of Beasts and Fauna, and the more good-aligned members of the House of Otherness. It's given her a lot of ideas for what creatures she could create, though it's advised she keep it in check or her containment is going to have more security.
• SCP-040 has pink hair and a black eye she can't see through. Despite her power she's rather frail, having brittle hair and gets sick easily. Unfortunately for her, she can't manipulation microscopic organisms. Being an ill girl, she can sympathize with Wally, and Jimmy Livingston for having to be in a bubble. Though he's been healthy for a while, she still feels bad. This makes her really vulnerable to Thrax, who wants to see what kind of havoc he can cause inside of her.
• She is capable of resurrecting corpses, however since they are brought back with the mentality of a child she doesn't want to do it again. The House of Undead and Phasmata scare her, and doesn't want them to use or better hone her necromancy abilities. She's terrified of Frankenfran given her own experiments and complete inability to conceive of a fate that's worse than death.
• Mewtwo was not sure what to think of her at first given he's the result of years of horrific gene splicing. Seeing she was a Nice Girl and thought it was "a big kitty" initially, the Genetic Pokemon decided to let her be. She is interested in Eevee because mutations cause various evolutions, and they seem to respond positively to her powers because of it.
• Dr Gero and Davros are very interested in her ability to manipulate organic matter, as it would benefit their own plans of genetic modification. The SCP Foundation are doing their best to prevent her into falling into their hands. Anyone who wants to abuse her for their ill intent is an enemy of SCP-040.
• Both Xerneas and the Life Entity have shown interest in her abilities, though rather than exploiting her simply want help her out with her powers. She finds Xerneas to be rather comforting as she does Pokemon in general, and the Life Entity believes she has a lot of potential as a White Lantern and safekeeping life.
• Friendly towards Laura Kinney, feeling bad about how she was experimented on and treated in the Facility. Baymax is friendly towards her and concerned about her physical health.
• Dr Borous is awed by her ability, which reminds him of his own achievements in the Nightstalkers and Cazadors. He isn't interested in using her ability for his own gains, seeing her instead as a rival in his field. SCP-040 is seriously creeped out by Dr Borous for the carelessness he shows when creating them For Science!, what he did to his pet dog(though he regrets it) and does stuff like lace his food with drugs. She has a better relationship with Dr Mobius, since he's the Token Good Teammate of the Think Tank and hopes to improve her powers believing she's an example of Science! not being presented as unethical or evil.

• He ascended in response to the Terraformars entering into the Pantheon, and was the one who led the 501st and other Gods in the containment of the Terraformars.
• When he went to Mars as a member of the Bugs II crew, he was the only one of two survivors to leave Mars after they were attacked by the Terraformars. His childhood friend, Nanao Akita, was also a member of the mission, but was the first killed by the Terraformars. Over twenty years later, he is Captain of the Annex I mission to find a cure for a virus afflicting his world that came from Mars.
  • Severe complications arose even before they touched down, and his team is currently in conflict with both the Terraformars and the Sino-Asian Squad.
• His powers are derived from what is called the "Bugs Procedure", a term that evolved to be called the "Mosaic Organ Operation" by the time of Annex I's mission. This process is derived from the Mosaic Organ possessed by the Terraformars that governs their selective immune tolerance, which can be transplanted into a Human with a survival rate of 30%. Originally restricted to insects, it grew to encompass non-insect animals as well, earning it the name "Mosaic Organ Operation.
  • Because of the potential threat governed by scientists of the GUAE's Mutation Lair if they could replicate this process, Shokichi now finds himself making sure none of those mad scientists acquire any Terraformar samples, as the GUAG wants to avoid the GUAE acquiring a super-soldier army possessing the Mosaic Organ - or worse, cloning a Terraformar army.
• Spider-Man and Guts are among the Gods who joined his side against the Terraformars in the containment of the Terraformars.
  • Spider-Man is much like Shokichi in terms of their abilities, having the strengths of the respective animal that is the basis for their powers, and Spider-Man can sympathize with Shokichi over the loss of Nanao, his childhood friend.
  • Guts has plenty of experience against inhuman opponents, and Shokichi informing him of the incident of Bugs II reminded him of the loss of all his allies in the Band of the Hawk during the Eclipse, except Casca and Rickert.
• After swapping bodies with the Gwen Stacy of Earth-65, she began to like and respect Gwen as a friend and fellow crime-fighter of the Pantheon's more evil deities.
• When he heard of Tzeentch, he wondered if the Chaos God had any role to play in the development of the Terraformars on Mars, specifically being associated with the Gods of Rahab. The Chaos God neither confirmed nor denied this theory.
