Protagonists

     Noah Collins

Noah Collins

The main character, a man who went through the zombie apocalypse, and has somehow gained the chance to go back in time and fix his mistakes, possibly leading to a better timeline. He's particularly focused on repairing the relationship between him and his son, Neo.

  • Action Dad: A father of two that can slice undead to pieces, stop bullets midair, and take on a military encampment without hesitation.
  • Anger Born of Worry: When he sees Neo with blood on his sleeve, he becomes visibly agitated. He becomes even more so when Neo coldly teases that he’s been bit, even though he hasn’t.
  • Animal Motifs: Butterflies, which he shares with Law.
  • The Atoner: The basis of his whole character. He desperately wants to make up for his past mistakes and is determined to use the time he's been given to help and protect Neo.
  • Badass Longcoat: Sports one while wrecking the electric cat and other undead in the warehouse.
  • Badass Tyke: When he was young, he didn't bat an eye at being kidnapped, and pulled a taser out on his kidnappers.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Is usually a pleasant enough man, but so far, he's the first character to have directly killed someone who wasn't undead: his brother, Ian. And he did it with a smile on his face.
  • Big Damn Heroes: He saves Neo using his Blood Magic after he sees Ian push him to the zombies.
    • Returns just in time to save Li and the others from the undead fetus.
  • Blatant Lies: Some of his lies and explanations about his preparedness for the apocalypse are this.
    • "I'm Glenn."
  • Blessed with Suck: For anyone else his powers would be considered exceptionally versatile and convenient, but Noah's poor health and weak heart make them also very dangerous for him to use.
    • Driven home when he reveals he can manipulate the blood still in his body to boost his own speed and reaction time, which would be an awesome supplement to the abilities of anyone else with a normal heart. Unfortunately, Noah's heart isn't up to the task.
  • Blood Magic: He can manipulate his own blood into weapons, barriers, and butterflies.
  • Bloody Murder: Of the Blood Weapons variety. It's the main use of his powers, slicing and impaling his enemies with giant spikes of blood.
  • Body to Jewel: His blood can become extremely sharp crystals in an instant.
  • Born Unlucky: Born with a heart condition to the second wife, constantly kidnapped as a child, grew up constantly belittled by his brother, implied to have been raped as a teenager by Parish, and tricked into raising the child of his abusive brother and marrying Parish. And that's not even getting into the apocalypse!
  • Bumbling Dad: During his particularly bad attempts to be kind to Neo. Like trying to be nice and inviting him to breakfast...while forgetting it was Neo's birthday.
  • Butt-Monkey: Can fall into this sometimes. Much of the humor is from his mess ups with Neo.
  • Cain and Abel: He is the Abel to his brother's Cain. But interestingly enough, Noah is the one to kill Ian.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: Deliberate, on his part. Rushing in to save people doesn't come naturally to him anymore. But since Neo accused him of only caring about himself, Noah's determined to change and be a better example to his sons.
  • Cosmic Plaything: Of Law, specifically. He's been catapulted into the past with little understanding of the how or why, only to be told that since he doesn't belong, in order to keep him from deteriorating or upsetting the integrity of the universe, Law placed some rules on him. His body must be reset each night at the cost of his memories, he can't admit he's from the future, and he's only got two years before he ceases to exist. None of the other time travelers seem to have any restrictions placed on them.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Justified. Since Noah has lived through the apocalypse before, he knows how to prepare for it. This does not go unnoticed by others.
  • Cursed with Awesome: His body resets at midnight each night at the cost of his knowledge of the future.
  • Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: Doesn't hesitate to get snarky and demanding with the extremely powerful entity living in his head.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: When he's surrounded by his own blood spinning through the air and tearing human beings to shreds, his extremely pale skin really ramps up the shock factor.
  • Glass Cannon: Is an incredibly capable combatant, but his weak physique and poor health mean that small injuries can incapacitate him, including the ones he has to inflict upon himself just to use his powers.
  • Good Is Not Soft: He's the first character to kill a living human, his own brother. However, he only did this after he saw him attempt to kill Neo to survive, and he knows he did it to his own daughter in the previous timeline.
    • Ian isn't his first kill, nor his last.
  • Guile Hero: Incredibly tricky when he wants to be, especially when interrogation is involved.
Noah: Nothing beats a psychological trick.
  • Handicapped Badass: He has bad heart problems, to the point he has a monitor around his neck, but he does boast impressive Blood Magic.
  • I Hate Past Me: Implied. He vows to correct his wrongs in the past, particularly his relationship with Neo.
  • Iconic Item: Noah's PCA choker.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: A good way to tell when he's pushed too far is when he has these. A notable example is when he finally kills Ian after realizing what a danger he is.
  • It's All My Fault: Blames himself for everything that went wrong in the previous timeline, because he trusted the wrong people, betrayed someone that cared for him, and put people he loved in danger.
  • Last-Name Basis: Noah calls everyone by their first names, but everyone outside his family refers to him almost exclusively as "Mr. Collins".
  • The Leader: Of the Levelheaded variety. Noah's used to being in charge, and easily takes control of most situations, but he's not domineering and doesn't push his authority over others.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Almost always tries to keep his distance from his opponent and instead let his blood manipulation handle the rest. Despite this, he once broke an undead's neck with a kick.
  • Meaningful Name: The Leader guiding a large group of survivors through the Armageddon named Noah Sheppard Collins.
  • Mr. Fanservice: The first chapter starts with him waking up shirtless, he's always wearing a black choker, and a recent chapter featured him soaking wet in a loosely-fit white shirt.
  • My Greatest Failure: He's haunted by his failure as a parent to Neo, particularly the role he had in Neo's eventual capture.
  • Older Than He Looks: It's hard to believe he's old enough to have two kids, one a teenager.
  • Open-Minded Parent: He casually muses that it would for the best if Neo's power awakened...the same power that had other characters proclaiming Neo a monster and Neo seems to be going to lengths to hide.
  • Papa Wolf: Do not harm Neo in front of Noah. Ian learns this the hard way.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: As "Glenn". Not that he needed it to work for long.
  • The Patriarch: Despite his young age and occasionally bumbling demeanor, he's the undisputed head of the Collins family. Really falls into this role as the apocalypse progresses and their group of survivors expands, with each of their companions gradually coming to respect him as the final authority.
  • Rape as Backstory: When they were fifteen, in order to pass Neo off as Noah's, Parish used a date rape drug on him.
  • Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: His skin is very pale (likely due to his sickly nature) and he has jet black hair.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Noah's capable of quickly resolving conflict, managing difficult personalities, and is particularly reliable in crisis situations.
  • Set Right What Once Went Wrong: Ultimately his goal.
  • Sharing a Body: With Law. Noah's learning to take full advantage of it.
  • Sibling Murder: After witnessing Ian push Neo to the zombies, and remembering him doing the same to Iva in the past timeline, Noah decides Ian is too much of a danger to the group, and pushes him to the zombies.
  • Sickly Child Grew Up Strong: He's still sickly, but he's far from the "useless" child Ian once judged him for being.
  • Specs of Awesome: Is the only main character to have glasses, and has Blood Magic.
  • Taught by Experience: He is very good at knowing how to survive a zombie apocalypse, because he's already lived through it.
  • Team Dad: Pretty much towards the entire group of survivors.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: He's trying to be a better father and a more selfless person. A lot seems to be riding on his success with this.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Noah doesn't have the stamina or strength to use his powers like most of the other Gifted, but even Leng acknowledges his skilled use of his blood manipulation. In the future, he apparently managed to take on a military base by himself in order to get to Neo.
    • His blood can block rifle bullets. And his response to the military pulling out rpgs? "I'll be fine—"
    • He curb-stomp battles Ike offscreen.
  • Wrong Context Magic: Invoked. His use of Law's abilities is out of line with not only his own abilities, but anything humans should be capable of.

     Neo Collins

Neo Collins

Noah's son, who has been neglected for several years and therefore has a strong grudge against his family.

  • Abusive Parents: Noah used to be close to Neo, but for some reason, he and Parish began to ignore him, and basically pretended he didn’t exist.
  • Badass Tyke: Barely bats an eye at an abnormal undead with enhanced speed trying to kill him.
  • Bastard Angst: He turns out to be dealing with this.
  • Break the Cutie: He was a sweet little boy. Then his parents began to neglect him.
  • Broken Bird: Noah's rejection of him and the ensuing neglect by his family has had lasting consequences on Neo, turning a formerly sweet child into a sour and cynical teenager. His experiences in the future have left him hardened, bitter, and distrusting.
  • Cain and Abel: Implied to become the case between him and his younger brother, Abel.
  • Calling Parents by Their Name: An unusual variation, since he was instructed to do so. When Neo's not calling Noah "old man", he's been calling Noah by name since Noah told him not to call him "father" anymore.
  • Calling the Old Man Out: Frequently. Neo does not hesitate to confront Noah about his past neglect when they're in private.
    • In the future, Neo apparently called Noah out on his callous behavior, triggering Noah's current attempts to change.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Oh, he definitely is. He can sass people without blinking an eye.
  • The Dreaded: Zigzagged. His future self is called a "monster" and was kept imprisoned by the military, who apparently went to extreme lengths to capture him. In the present, for some reason, Leng is absolutely convinced Neo must die. It's unknown what Neo did to justify this sort of extreme treatment, and whether it occurred before or after Noah's death in the original timeline. On top of that, even the undead seem to want Neo dead, with some instinct or voice telling them "he has to die."
  • Emo Teen: He has the look and personality. Being ignored and treated like nothing by your family for a good chunk of your life will do that to you.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Noah's betrayal in the first timeline.
Neo: I should have known better.
  • Extremely Protective Child: Neo hides it well, but he's not nearly as apathetic to Noah as he tries to pretend. He's infuriated by Noah injuring himself to save him at the mall, watches the color of Noah's monitor closely, threatens Abel over putting Noah's life at risk, and even goes so far as to send Hail to keep an eye on Noah when he can't.
    • While the circumstances of Neo's capture in the future remain mostly unknown, it is heavily implied he was captured trying to protect or help Noah in some fashion.
    • Proves to be more and more protective as time goes on, between leaving the settlement and the undead plant.
  • Hates Being Touched: Blatantly, which frequently clashes with Noah's worried manhandling.
  • Hates Their Parent: Rightfully despises his biological father Ian and can't stand his mother Parish. His feelings for Noah are infinitely more complicated.
  • Heroic Bastard: He is revealed to be this, as the result of the affair between Parish and Ian. Although he's more anti-heroic than heroic at this point.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: He "adopts" his brother's dog and renames him Hail.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: He has very cold blue eyes that rarely betray any emotion.
  • Jerkass to One: Neo's not particularly nice to anyone, but Iva notes that he looks at most people like they're "air". He only looks at Noah with any sort of feeling, which Neo himself claims is "hate".
  • Parental Abandonment: At the start of Armageddon, Neo was at school and separated from his family, and Parish kept Noah from looking for him. As a result, he had to survive the Zombie Apocalypse all by himself.
  • Parental Neglect: His parents are very much with him, but he has been neglected by them for a good chunk of his life.
  • People Jars: Was kept in one in the future. It seems like Noah failed to get him out of it before he died.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Is sometimes shown with dangerous, demonic red eyes, but the reasons for this remain unknown.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: It's implied he and Mana had this dynamic in the previous timeline.
  • Sour Outside, Sad Inside: He acts cold and tough, but it is plain to see that he's still deeply pained by Noah's rejection. Underneath all that hatred and resentment, Neo is still a broken-hearted kid.
  • Time Loop Fatigue: Recent chapters have confirmed that Neo has been repeating the apocalypse over and over. He doesn't seem very enthused about it.
  • The Unfavorite: Basically his role in the family.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: He used to be a cheerful kid with a close relationship with his father... until Noah found out Neo was Ian’s child, told him not to call him his father and that he wasn’t his son, and ignored him for most of his life.
  • Younger Than He Looks: He looks a little older than thirteen much of the time. Subverted, given that he apparently is from the future as well.

Noah's group

     Li

Li

The maid for the Collins family. She's particularly loyal to Noah, and therefore Neo.

  • Action Girl: She's the one who gets her hands dirty dealing with zombies the most often.
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: How she seems to others, although she does care more than she appears.
  • Badass Normal: Has no powers or special objects, but has an impressive kill record with zombies.
  • Battle Butler: Battle maid. Li is the best so far at taking out zombies. She's even killed one by stabbing it in the head.
  • Beneath the Mask: While she seems to be taken the Armageddon and everything that comes with it in stride, but in reality, she has not been coping with how Noah is changing. With him being more knowledgable of the situation and more capable of handling threats, Li has been feeling lost and useless, uncertain of what she can still do to protect him.
  • Berserk Button: She doesn't often lose her temper, but she will not hesitate to threaten anyone that tries to harm or disrespect Noah.
  • Big Damn Heroes: She stabs a zombie in the head before it can get to Lena and Iva.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: And not taking it well.
  • Boyish Short Hair: Her hair comes down to her chin, and she's the most notable Action Girl.
  • Brutal Honesty: She doesn't let Noah off the hook for being a bad father for so many years.
  • Emotionless Girl: Subverted. Li may seem cold and detached, but she loves Noah fiercely and worries about him constantly.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: She was already badass, but developing ice abilities take her to another level entirely.
  • Good Is Not Soft: She's brutally honest, has no qualms about killing zombies, and seems emotionally distant, but she is definitely one of the good guys.
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: Zigzagged, to Noah. Noah's not incompetent in any fashion, but Li is the better traditional combatant and has been paying more attention to Neo.
    • Deconstructed, as well. When it becomes clear Noah is more capable of handling The Zombie Apocalypse than she is, she doesn't take it well.
  • An Ice Person: Develops powerful ice powers in season 2.
  • Meido: briefly, before the Armageddon hit.
  • Not So Stoic: She seems mostly unfazed by the Armageddon, focusing entirely on assisting Noah and his family. As it becomes more and more apparent that she cannot protect Noah any longer, she starts to grow more and more anxious. And then she snaps.
  • Power Incontinence: In contrast to her original self, in the second timeline, Li loses all control over her abilities when they suddenly awaken, and the result is a bloodbath.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: She seems quite emotionally distant, but it becomes obvious she cares very deeply for Noah (possibly more than just as a boss) and even Neo as well, as she doesn’t let Noah forget how bad a parent he’s been towards Neo.
  • Superpower Meltdown: Very nearly kills herself and Noah when she loses all control, producing so much ice that it starts to drain on her very life force.
    • She's the only one to question Neo on his change in behavior and attitude since the eclipse.
  • Took a Level in Badass: She appears to be an ordinary maid...and then she kills a zombie by stabbing it in the head.
    • Was already formidable, and then she developed extremely powerful ice powers.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Noah.
  • Unlucky Childhood Friend: Implied. She has known Noah the longest and been by his side since early childhood, but Parish moved very, very fast.

     Parish Clement

Parish Clement

Noah's wife, who has also ignored Neo for much of his life. She betrayed him in the previous timeline.

  • Abusive Parents: As shown in a flashback, unlike Noah who merely avoided Neo, she simply treated him like shit, and spends most of her time openly ignoring him, outright threatening him, and at one point, almost striking him.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She appears like a sweet wife, but...she ignores one of her sons while doting on the other, she betrayed Noah in the previous timeline, and she's had an affair with Ian for years. She's never been good at hiding it.
  • Date Rape: Heavily implied to be how she got Noah to believe Neo was his, practically forcing him to marry her.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Subverted, she's never been a kind person.
  • Karma Houdini: So far, she has faced zero serious repercussions for raping Noah so he would have to marry her.
  • Light Feminine Dark Feminine: She's the light feminine, with lighter hair and color scheme, to Lena's dark feminine, with lavender hair and darker clothes. Ironically, Parish is a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing while Lena is quite sweet.
  • Manipulative Bitch: Used Noah throughout the Armageddon until the military decided to sponsor her, then threw him away after using him to capture her own son, Neo. Even at fifteen, she date-raped Noah to convince him Neo was his so he would be forced to marry her.
  • Motherly Side Plait: Subverted. She has this hairstyle, but is anything but a good mother.
  • Never My Fault: Refuses to admit her own fault in anything, including the neglect of her own son, and instead usually just blames Noah instead, despite being the one that forced him to marry her and lying about Neo's parentage.
  • Teen Pregnancy: Was pregnant with Neo at fifteen.
  • Ungrateful Bitch: Has zero appreciation for anything and everything Noah has done for her, even getting back together with Ian after Abel was born.

     Abel Collins

Abel Collins

Noah's younger son and Neo's brother.

  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Not that he and Neo interact much, but when they do, he seems to annoy him.
    • When they were younger, Abel often tried to bridge the gap between them, and Neo made an effort to hide his bitter feelings towards him. Nevertheless, Abel could tell Neo didn't like him.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Implied, as he has made some nasty remarks about Neo.
  • Cain and Abel: Implied to become the case between him and Neo.
  • Character Development: Following a conversation with Noah, Abel starts trying to improve his relationship with Neo, or at least trying to keep it from deteriorating further.
  • Deliberately Cute Child: Taken up to eleven around Noah, especially whenever Abel is vying with Neo for attention.
  • Extremely Protective Child: After he nearly got Noah killed, Abel's behavior becomes less attention seeking and more protective as he wonders how he can be more useful to Noah.
  • The Fake Cutie: Especially in the future, but even now he has shades of this.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Gets gradually more and more upset with Noah suddenly favoring Neo.
    • Upon finding out that Noah gave Neo his new magic earring, the situation escalates drastically.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Subverted. He seems to have inherited more from his mother than her looks.
  • Innocent Blue Eyes: Usually. But given some of his behavior, they could be a facade.
  • Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: Some of his remarks and thoughts towards Neo are strange for such a young child.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Was considerably sweeter towards Neo when he was five, and then Neo stopped playing the role as the caring older brother.

     Ian Collins

Ian Collins

Noah's half brother, a selfish man who has never treated him or anyone kindly.

  • Arranged Marriage: Had one with Lena. It didn't go well.
  • Asshole Victim: Noah kills him after realizing how much of a danger he is to everyone else.
  • Cain and Abel: Is the Cain to Noah's Abel. Although Noah is the one who kills him.
  • Establishing Character Moment: When he’s first introduced, he’s seen asking “where that son of a bitch is”, meaning Noah. It’s also shown shortly after he only came to visit to ask for money.
  • Evil Uncle: Very. He even tries to throw Neo to the zombies.
  • Hate Sink: Let’s see, he’s a jerk to everyone, leeches off the younger brother he bullied, tossed his own daughter to the zombies, he’s arrogant and hedonistic, and got his brother's fifteen year-old girlfriend pregnant...
  • Inadequate Inheritor: He was originally supposed to inherit ARC and the Collins family fortune, but was passed over in favor of Noah when he proved to be too foolish and irresponsible.
  • Killed Off for Real: Neo goes to see his body, and it's not pretty. He's not coming back, not even as an undead.
  • Offing the Offspring: He pushed his own child to her death in order to save himself in the first timeline, and tried it again in the next.
  • Sound-Only Death: All we see of his death is the other character's reactions and his screams.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Subverted. He was never a nice kid. He always accused Noah of faking being sickly for attention.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He is willing to kill both his children, Iva and Neo, to survive.

     Lena Brook

Lena Brook

Ian's wife and Iva's mother.

     Iva Collins

Iva Collins

Ian and Lena's daughter.

  • The Baby of the Bunch: Is the youngest of the group.
  • The Cutie: She's adorable.
  • Genki Girl: Is very energetic and sweet.
  • Kill the Cutie: Her death in the first timeline.
  • Nice Girl: Sweet, kind, and considerate.
  • The Pollyanna: Kept ignorant of the worst of the situation, she's quite enjoying getting the chance to travel around with her family, despite the apocalypse.
  • Smarter Than You Look: She may be young, but she's pretty emotionally intelligent, enough to see through both Neo and Abel with ease.

     Wynter

Wyn

     Theo

Theo

  • Angsty Surviving Twin: Not overly so, but losing his twin wasn't easy.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He's one of the nicest, most heroic guys in the main cast, and unlike the rest of the military's soldiers, extremely against killing. That said, he's not to be tested, demolishing a military vehicle with just a street sign and assisting with the infiltration of a military encampment to rescue Dove.
  • The Big Guy: Plays this role after developing his power.
  • Conflicting Loyalty: Theo's from the same military that Noah's already at odds with. Thankfully, he's strongly against all the actions the military has taken so far, and even sides with the group when it came to conflict.
  • Super-Strength: He's strong enough to rip sign posts out of concrete and throw them like lances with enough force to knock over trucks, tear through doors, and shatter floors.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: He's still learning how to properly use his super strength, but so far he's been nothing but an excellent addition to the group.

     Alix Blanche

Alix Blanche

  • Brutal Honesty: Doesn't beat around the bush.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Snuck up behind enemy lines and held a soldier hostage with a box cutter until his fellows surrendered.
  • The Trickster: She and Noah are one hell of a tricky combination.

     Mana

Mana

Military

     Leng Bai

Leng

A captain in the military, the son of General Bai, and another time traveler.

  • The Ace: Not only is extremely powerful, experienced, and well-trained, but he's also trusted and backed by the military, enough that when he warned them of the impending Zombie Apocalypse, they believed him enough to reestablish quickly. On top of all that, he's respected and well-liked by his men and his family. Compared to Noah, this guy's got it all.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Towards his little brother En. He barrels his way through across the country and hoards of undead to reach En, regardless of the risks.
  • Colonel Badass: Leader of his band of soldiers and one of the most powerful Gifted seen so far.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Completely failed to make the connection between "Glenn" and the father of his target, despite Noah wearing an extremely distinct Iconic Item in plain view.
  • Mental Time Travel: He's from at least a few years into the Armageddon.
  • Shock and Awe: Can generate electricity and weaponize it to absolutely decimate undead.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: He seems like a pretty decent guy with the best intentions, except that he intends to "get rid" of Neo.
  • Would Hurt a Child: His target is Neo, who is currently thirteen and theoretically a completely innocent child.
  • Your Head A-Splode: In order to quickly exterminate hoards of undead, Leng targets the cores in their heads with expert precision and very messy results.

     Ike

Ike

  • Blow You Away: Develops the ability to control the wind, almost actually blowing away his friend.
  • Razor Wind: Based on what his wind does to En's barriers, it likely has this application as well.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: His wind is strong enough to damage even En's barriers, but his control is extremely poor.

     En

En

  • Deflector Shields: He can create and maintain defensive barriers around himself and others.

     Olivier Paix

Olivier Paix

A sadistic scientist that has also returned from the future.

Other

     Law

Law

A mysterious entity hiding within Noah that is responsible for his return to the past.
  • Animal Motifs: Butterflies, which he shares with Noah.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: Whatever it is, it isn't human, but appears as Noah's "reflection", borrowing Noah's appearance.
  • Cosmic Entity: He's not the god of the laws of the universe or anything like that, but the "laws" themselves.
  • Gold and White Are Divine: He's heavily associated with gold, in particular, gold butterflies/moths.
  • Sentient Cosmic Force: Seems to be some kind of sentient manifestation of all the "laws" of the world.
  • Sharing a Body: Seems to be possessing Noah in some form or another, or as he puts it, "hiding in this ruined mind". What exactly he's hiding from is left unsaid.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: His shining gold eyes are what make his appearance distinct from Noah's, oddly matched by the heart monitor collar he's always wearing, even when Noah isn't.
  • Unwanted Assistance: His "eye" activates when Noah's going to die without it, initially without any input from Noah.
  • Vagueness Is Coming: Never, ever really deals with specifics, just suggests that someway, somehow, the "world" is coming apart and Noah is the only one who can change it. Later chapters reveal that the "World" he keeps talking about is actually another entity, though.

     SPOILER CHARACTER World

World

The entity responsible for Leng and Olivier's regressions.
  • Death Seeker: He states that Neo's death will result in the end of the last timeline, and by extension, the end of his own existence. Not that it stops him from siccing Leng and Olivier on the poor boy.
  • It Amused Me: He outright admits to Noah that he sees torturing Neo as 'fun'.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Shows shades of this in his conversation with Law.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: World is heavily associated with red and black (in contrast to Law's gold), and he sees no problem with toying with Neo for his own amusement.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Is actively encouraging Leng and Olivier to kill Neo.
