    The Monster Island Buddies

Our beloved heroes, the Monster Island Buddies have been friends ever since their respective childhoods. While their relationship can get rocky at times, they will always stand up for each other and are an excellent team who can fend off all kinds of threats to Earth. As long as they aren't goofing off or just being lazy, that is.

  • Anti-Hero: With the sole exception of Jet himself, Godzilla and Rodan aren't exactly likable fellows and have been known to randomly destroy cities whenever they feel like it, but are still Earth's best chance against worse dangers.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Goji and Rody may not be the friendliest monsters out there and can be pretty lazy and irresponsible at times, but when it comes to fighting bad guys and saving Earth, they will gladly kick lots of ass to protect their home. We're talking about two particularly strong kaiju after all.
  • Freudian Trio:
    • Godzilla = Neutral but considerate towards the right person (Ego)
    • Rodan = Erratic, Short-Tempered, and always throws Tantrums (Id)
    • Jet-Jaguar = Kind, Caring, and always gives advice to his friends (Superego)
  • Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: Goji and Rody are both big assholes with a softer side, while Jet is a full-blown Nice Guy instead.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Their friendship has had a few problems through the years, but they genuinely care for each other and for their fellow monsters.

Godzilla/Godzilla Prime

"I'm the king of the monsters!"

Godzilla is the King of the Monsters and the hero of Monster Island Buddies, as well as the main Godzilla of the Multiverse. In the series, Godzilla is portrayed as a lazy, overweight and selfish alcoholic. But despite those negative traits, he always sticks up for his friends and will always prove his worth when the Monster Island Buddies need his help.

  • Abusive Parent: Was this towards Zilla and Minilla due to him picking up this trait from his own father. However, he softened up towards them after Season 4.
  • Adaptational Comic Relief: This Godzilla is depicted as a lazy and irresponsible Loser Protagonist.
  • Adaptational Heroism: While this Godzilla is based on his Heisei version, his personality is similar to his Showa self.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Godzilla is mostly a Jerkass in most Toho films but he started out as an Abusive Dad here. He even became a drug addict at one point.
  • Alternate Self: There are multiple versions of Godzilla from different universes and timelines, all of them portrayed by several toys, plushies and figures of the character's various incarnations. In fact, an entire army of alternate Godzillas helps the good monsters defeat Cthulhu and his minions once and for all in the series finale "World War G". The alternate Godzillas once again play a pivotal role in the ongoing "Destroy All Godzillas" arc, in which an interdimensional portal located at Godzilla's toilet is allowing the Godzillas of other universes to pass into the main dimension. Unfortunately, this includes Massacre as well.
  • The Alcoholic
  • Acquired Situational Narcissism: In Season 2, after regaining his old popularity and getting hooked on cocaine, he transforms into an arrogant jackass who thinks he's above his friends.
  • Back from the Dead: He meets his first demise when he goes into meltdown mode and eventually perishes in a huge explosion while holding Monster X at bay, but comes back to life after he and King Ghidorah beat Lord Blundergosh at a game of Beer Pong. Later in the series, he and the other buddies go back in time to kill themselves in the past in order to undo the apocalypse caused by Cthulhu, but are brought back after the Gods agree to rebuild the universe from scratch.
  • Character Development: Godzilla goes from an arrogant, mean-spirited alcoholic has-been coasting on his past fame and an abusive parent to his kids to a capable, albeit insecure leader concerned with the well-being of his friends and a caring father.
  • Dented Iron: In Destroy All Godzillas Godzilla’s increasing age has resulted in him not being as powerful as he once was, and the stress of continuing to be the King of the Monsters has resulted in him having panic attacks.
  • Face Death with Dignity: In Season 4, he gradually comes to accept that he's dying, and ultimately chooses to give his life to save his friends. Later, at the end of Season 8, he's pretty calm before being Retgoned.
  • Fat Bastard: Subverted in that he may be an overweight jerk and was verbally abusive towards both Zilla and Minilla, but he is always there for his friends and has changed into a better parent for his kids.
  • Freudian Excuse: Most of his problems, abusiveness, and assholery stems from his abusive father Gojira, who repeatedly insulted him and took a shit on him, among other things.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: While he is dying as Burning Godzilla, he uses himself as a living bomb to kill Monster X, who unfortunately turns out to be the disguised Xilien sent as a decoy.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: Over the course of the series, it gradually becomes clear he suffers from self-loathing and low self-esteem in spite of his egotistical front. It gets really bad in Season 7 after Zilla dies, sending him into a Heroic BSoD.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Is rough, brash, cynical and short-tempered but beneath those coarse scales beats a gentle heart.
  • Jaded Washout: After his attempts at training to face King Ghidorah go poorly (he grows out of this eventually);
Godzilla: I don't know. Look at me...I used to be the king. Now I'm a fat, old, fat joke. When I was young, I could have won this fight easily.
  • Out of Focus: In Season 9, he spends the season out of the limelight after the Destroy All Godzillas arc, with most of the focus being on Rodan, Mothra, Jet, Gigan, and Anguirus. He still gets some of the limelight, but he's still more of a supporting character than anything else.
  • Retired Badass: He retires as King of the Monsters following the Destroy All Godzillas arc.
  • Took a Level in Kindness:
    • During Season 4, after Zilla and Minilla proved themselves in battle, Godzilla grew to love them and has since been a lot more caring of them.
    • This is his main character arc in Season 7. While he still remains an alcoholic jerk, he becomes a lot more mature, kinder, and more accepting of his own faults over the course of the season as he grasps the weight of his responsibilities
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: In Season 2, where his renewed popularity and cocaine addiction result in him becoming an arrogant jerk who abandons his friends because he thinks he's better than them.
  • Vocal Evolution: In the first season, his voice was deeper and had a thick Japanese accent, before shifting into the higher-pitched, more emotional voice with an American accent he has now.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Says this word-for-word while fighting Jaguar X.

Rodan/Fire Rodan

"FUCK!"

One of Godzilla's friends, Rodan is a short-tempered, womanizing and envious Pteranodon. Since the beginning of the show, he has had a crush on Mothra, but his chances in confessing his love are usually ruined when King Ghidorah makes his move. While his relationship with his friends is rocky at best and has been constantly tested, he nonetheless is fiercely loyal to his buddies and will happily fight by their side.

  • Abusive Parents: When Rodan sees that his newborn sons are a trio of Dorats, aka, Infantile Ghidorahs, he is not happy, and is at first delighted to see General Red Ghidorah arriving on Earth to take the triplets to Planet X. However, after one of the babies calls him "Da-da!", he begins to soften up and teaches the kids to fly (albeit by throwing them from a cliff), eventually starting to outright love them.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Sort of. This Rodan is a shameless womanizer with a short fuse.
  • Blow You Away: Being a massive mutant pterosaur, Rodan specializes in this kind of powers. His hurricane wings allow him to cause devastating winds which are quite useful in combat. He can also fly at supersonic speeds.
  • Butt-Monkey: He's gotten lots of disgraces through the curse of the series, and usually gets his ass kicked pretty easily in most battles.
  • Character Catchphrase:
    • "FUCK!"
    • "WIND POWER!" (which changes to "FIRE POWER!" during his time as Fire Rodan).
    • He frequently proclaims "He's DEAD!" whenever someone dies in front of him.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Implied. Among the many things he hoards is a gun which he claims, reminds him of "a happier time", and he mentions his father tossed him off a cliff to teach him how to fly.
  • Disney Death: In the season 2 finale, Rodan flies into Mecha-King Ghidorah and explodes with him to ensure his bomb won't destroy Monster Island. However, rather than killing him, it is revealed the explosion powered him as Fire Rodan instead.
  • Giant Flyer: He's Rodan after all.
  • Good Parents: Rodan at first isn't too thrilled of taking care of the Dorat triplets, but after one of them calls him "Da-da", he softens considerably and teaches the babies how to fly, bonding more and more with them. After the Dorats fuse into a whole new King Ghidorah to protect him, Rodan ultimately stands for his child and decides to go with Red Ghidorah to Planet X in order to convince the council not to take away his new son from him.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: He will literaly fly into a rage at the slightest provocation.
  • Happily Married: With Mothra, after they finally get married
  • Heroic Sacrifice: He has done two of these! The first one was to stop Mecha-King Ghidorah, the second one was to save Mothra Larva from Battra and Orga. Both were thankfully non-fathal.
  • Interspecies Romance: Rodan is a pterosaur and has feelings for Mothra, a giant moth.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He is highly wrathful and vindictive, but his love for Mothra is genuine and the bond with his companions remains pretty strong.
  • Large Ham: Subtlety isn't one of his virtues.
  • No Indoor Voice: He constantly speaks as if he were whispering loudly.
  • Playing with Fire: After he flies into Mecha-King Ghidorah and absorbs his energy, Rodan becomes Fire Rodan, and obtains whole new powers like an uranium heat beam and the hability to spill flames from his wings, which he can barely control. Kong certainly takes advantage of this...
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Has shades of this. Rodan can be quite immature at times and usually throws rather violent, destructive tantrums whenever he feels things aren't going his way or whenever another monster is after something he wants for himself.
  • Red Is Heroic: He's got crimson scales and is one of the good guys.
  • Vocal Evolution: His voice has gotten increasingly higher-pitched and less hoarse over the years.

Jet Jaguar

"Don't fuck with the Jaguar!"

The third member of the Monster Island Buddies, Jet Jaguar is an excellent contrast. Unlike the lazy, alcoholic Godzilla or the womanizing, jealous Rodan, Jet is a happy go-lucky and easygoing fellow.

  • Adaptational Villainy: Downplayed because Jet Jaguar remains a Nice Guy even after joining the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S., but his Toho self was neither a bad guy nor a Jerkass.
  • Camp Straight: Jet's mannerisms can be a tad effeminate, but he's pretty much heterosexual as shown by his romances with Hedorah and M.O.G.U.E.R.A.
  • Character Catchphrase: "Don't fuck with the Jaguar!"
  • Easy Amnesia: After being attacked by King Ghidorah at the end of Season 1, Jet loses his memories due to a factory reset. He regains his memories midway through Season 2 after seeing Mecha King Ghidorah.
  • 11th-Hour Superpower: At the climax of the Godzilla vs. Jet Jaguar arc, he gains an Ultraman-esque Super Mode and proceeds to beat the tar out of Jaguar X.
  • Evil Is Petty: His first act after his Face–Heel Turn is to lead the Evil Monsters to pee in the community pool.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Becomes this in Season 9through sheer bad luck. It leads to his Face–Heel Turn up until the Godzilla vs. Jet Jaguar arc.
  • Hazy-Feel Turn: He joins the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S in Season 9 after undergoing a Trauma Conga Line, but his influence results in them gradually stopping their plotting to kill Godzilla.
  • Nice Guy: Is cheerful, affectionate and just plain delightful.
  • '90s Anti-Hero: Parodied when he dons a black leather trench coat, adopts a gruff voice, and seeks revenge on the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S. for causing Rodan to die.
  • Out of Focus: After the first three seasons, he generally gets the least focus of the Buddies and serves more as a side character than anything else, particularly in Season 4. This changes in Season 9, where he's one of the main protagonists of the season.
  • The Pollyanna: He's perpetually cheerful, no matter the circumstance.
  • Real Men Can Cook: He likes to bake desserts like muffins and brownies.
  • Universally Beloved Leader: The L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S consider Jet a much better leader than Spacegodzilla, given he doesn't have an unhealthy obsession with killing Godzilla unlike the latter and is a fairly reasonable boss who brings tasty snacks for everybody.
  • Vocal Evolution: His voice gets increasingly higher-pitched each season.

    Other Heroes

Mothra

  • Adaptational Sexuality: Her Toho counterpart doesn't have any romantic feelings to other Kaiju.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: She starts the series dating King Ghidorah.
  • Big Damn Heroes
  • The Chosen One: As a Divine Moth, she was created to defend the Earth, particularly from Ghidorah.
  • Dating Catwoman: Although she herself says she was created to defend Earth from King Ghidorah, she starts dating him after getting to know him better.
  • Happily Married: To Rodan.
  • Not So Above It All: She spends "Mothra vs. Mothra" enraged after being replaced with another, younger Mothra. The same episode points out she's pretty terrible at her job, considering that she hooked up with King Ghidorah, who was supposed to be her enemy, and her failed truce.
  • Speech Impediment: She has a slight lisp.
  • Team Mom

Anguirus

(Dog barking noises)

Zilla

  • He Is All Grown Up: When he returns to Monster Island.
  • Killed Off for Real: Dies of a severe asthma attack in Season 7 during the middle of a battle, and remains dead for the rest of the series, outside of a brief appearance in a Monster Mailbag segment where he dies again.
    • Zilla brought back as a cyborg sometime before Sometimes Friends Fight, and is truly killed off for real self-destructing to stop Jaguar X, as MIB said any deaths in that movie were permanent.
  • Put on a Bus: Was sent to live with his mother, Gorgo after a while.
  • The Bus Came Back: After hearing about Burning Godzilla dying, he returns to Monster Island.

Gamera

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed. His personality is based on his Showa and Heisei selves except he's more of a neglectful parent here.
  • Abusive Parents: Of the neglectful variety to his son Toto.
  • The Ace: After being kicked out of college for smoking weed, he winds up becoming a renowned hero and movie star with a lucrative movie franchise beloved all over the world. He gradually becomes a Broken Ace over the course of the series.
  • The Bus Came Back: He vanishes for several seasons after leaving Monster Island, only to return during Season 7 after Cloverfield kills Baragon,
  • Can't Take Criticism: Subverted. He gets pissed when some of his enemies offer constructive criticism for his screenplay, but this is based more on his prior hatred of them, and he admits their criticisms were legitimately good.
  • Put on a Bus / The Bus Came Back: Left Monster Island after finding out Lord Blundergosh was Real After All.
  • Religious Stereotype: Was revealed to be this while rehabilitating Godzilla for his Drug Addiction. He states that his Lord and Savior was Lord Blundergosh. It was later revealed that it was all a ruse by coincidence.
  • The Rival: Was this to Godzilla for quite a while early on, until his ruined fame knocked him down a peg.

Mechagodzilla

"Want to listen to some pixies on vinyl?"

  • Adaptational Heroism: In the Toho films, Mechagodzilla was one of Godzilla's major opponents while here, he's more of a Heroic Neutral and acts chummy with Godzilla.
  • Back from the Dead: Thanks to Minilla's efforts.
  • Characterization Marches On: He was initially portrayed as a stereotypical hipster before more emphasis was out on his role as The Smart Guy.
  • Freak Out: When Orga asked if he can send Voltron to distract Cthulhu and his cronies, Mechagodzilla quickly shot him down because it's "too expensive".
  • Heel–Face Turn: Was originally evil before the show began.
  • The Smart Guy: Known for designing all kinds of inventions including a time machine, Iron Giant, and even Voltron.

Minilla/Godzilla Jr.

  • Character Development: He gradually develops from a harmless and goofy idiot into being a capable and mature fighter, even becoming Godzilla's successor as King of the Monsters.
  • The Ditz: Minilla is... not the brightest bulb. This changes as Character Development sets in.
  • Gasshole: He passes gas a lot, even when he tries to breath fire. He eventually gains the ability to shoot fire out of his butt.
  • Genius Ditz: He may be a dimwit for the most part, but he managed to build a fully functioning attack robot (With the assistance of Mechagodzilla).
  • Plot-Relevant Age-Up: After beating Kaizer Ghidorah, Minilla grows up to be Godzilla from Godzilla2014!
  • Took a Level in Badass: Not only when he built the giant robot, but also when he finally uses his fire powers to beat both King Kong and Mechani-Kong!
    • He has taken yet another level in badass by taking down Kaizer Ghidorah
    • Took yet another by fighting Cloverfield, surviving a bite that killed Baragon, and ultimately using the "Kiss of Death" to kill Cloverfield.
  • The Unfavorite: Godzilla never liked him very much, but it only got worse when Zilla returns all grown up. After helping Burning Godzilla with saving the day, he is no longer this.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Becomes this when he records Godzilla having sex with Mothra on his video camera; King Kong steals the camera and shows the video to Fire Rodan, which leads to Fire Rodan turning Godzilla into Burning Godzilla.

Baragon

  • …But I Play One on TV: He once helped exorcise Minilla after he was possessed by demonic nutcrackers because he played a priest on a soap opera.
  • Characterization Marches On: He started off as a generic, dimwitted thug with an annoying voice because the creator didn't know what to do with him. It's Retconned in his second appearance that he was just getting into character, and was retooled into a struggling actor.
  • Forgotten Fallen Friend: Immediately after he is killed off, Godzilla completely forgets about him during his own funeral... except Baragon faked his drath to pursue his acting career.
  • Killed Off for Real: Subverted because as it turns out, he was faking his death when the Cloverfield monster attacks him. Overlaps with...
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: His decision when he notices how violent things have gotten on Monster Island. He leaves the island to pursue a career in acting. He even became the new Ultraman!
  • Those Two Guys: With King Caesar.
  • You Are Fat: Is frequently called this by Ultraman.

King Caesar

"Shiiiiiiiiiit—!"

Mechagodzilla City

An alternate Mechagodzilla Mechagodzilla Prime summoned to use as a lab assistant, who comes from a universe filled with missed opportunities.

    L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S.

Gigan

"You guys?"

Spacegodzilla

"Anyone looking to buy some drugs?"

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Not exactly nice, but Spacegodzilla is a lot more cordial here.
  • Adaptational Comic Relief: He's not as threatening as his Toho counterpart, being an Affably Evil pedophile and drug dealer with a high-pitched and peppy voice whose beam attacks have techno sounds.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: He becomes the leader of the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S. after the evil monsters lose the war and Cthulhu’s defeat, but he’s pretty incompetent and quickly gets deposed by Girlgan and later Jet Jaguar.
  • Character Death: Jaguar X kills him with a blade to his neck.
  • Fat Bastard: He's visibly overweight, and he's the most openly malevolent of the LESBIANS outside of Gojira.
  • Godzilla, I Am Your Half-Brother: Thanks to Gojira humping a space meteor.
  • Vocal Dissonance: For such a big fat monster, he has a slightly nasally voice.
  • Vocal Evolution: His voice started off as being pretty deep before developing into the nasally voice he had for the rest of the series,

Hedorah

Megalon

  • The Eeyore: He's perpetually depressed and dour.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Megalon appears in a PSA where he explains and shows support for those with depression.
    • He also started a support group for kaiju without proper hands.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Orginally an enthusiastic Kaiju, he became The Eeyore when someone told him that "everyone will die someday."
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Megalon was outraged at Godzilla's nonchalant reaction to Spacegodzilla's death. That's said, Godzilla made a valid point that he never knew he had a brother and Spacegodzilla was an "asshole" who tried to kill him.
  • Would Hit a Girl / Would Hurt a Child: Notable for being the first villain to hurt both Mothra and Minilla, albeit reluctantly.
  • You Need to Get Laid: All the other handless monsters have managed to get laid, even Gigan. They point out to Megalon that not having hands is no excuse.

Earl

The only human member of the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S. and the creator of Mecha-Godzilla. He is instantly killed off by Titanosaurus.

  • Disproportionate Retribution: The reason he joined the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S. was because of not receiving a newsletter from Godzilla for a contest he entered when he was young.
  • Killed Off for Real: Titanosaurus decapitates him and proceeds to violate his body. He returns as a ghost in a Halloween special to try and get revenge on Godzilla, but leaves after Godzilla gives him the newsletter he was promised.
  • Token Human: The only human member of the team.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: He's only around for a few episodes before Titanosaurus randomly kills him.

Destoroyah

"FUCK YOU!"

    The Ghidorah Family

King Ghidorah/Mecha-King Ghidorah

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Compared to his Toho counterpart, who is a sadistic Omnicidal Maniac, this King Ghidorah is based on his GMK self.
  • Affably Evil: Downplayed. He's somewhat amiable, even during his stints as a bad guy, but he's still kind of a dick either way.
  • Back from the Dead: Courtesy of Godzilla winning a game of beer pong against Lord Blundergosh.
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: Has been known to frequently switch between the different sides of the monsters.
  • Jerkass: Particularly towards Rodan, who he frequently taunts, but Ghidorah is a cheating, selfish asshole. He shows signs of being a Jerk with a Heart of Gold at times, usually firing his stints as a good guy.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Ghidorah is a selfish, cheating, spiteful jerk, but he also longs for peace between the Divine Moths and the Ghidorahs, is the only member of his family to not want to Take Over the World, and genuinely cares about Mothra.
  • Killed Off for Real: He is fatally wounded by Grand King Ghidorah, and transfers his energy to Mothra, turning her into Fire Mothra.
  • Redemption Equals Death: When he has a Heel Realization finally settles on being a good guy, he gets fatally wounded by Grand King Ghidorah.
  • Speak in Unison: All three of his heads speak at the same time due to not being disciplined to use one head at a time.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: After being killed the first time, the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S. rebuilt him as Mecha-King Ghidorah.
  • Taking You with Me: As Mecha-King Ghidorah, he has a bomb powerful enough to destroy Monster Island in his body...that he doesn't know of until the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S actually set it off.

Monster X/Kaizer Ghidorah

  • Affably Evil: He's pretty laidback, can be a surprisingly supportive father at times, makes sure to enforce the truce, and likes watching Seinfeld with his friends. He's still absolutely ruthless and a massive threat.
  • The Chessmaster
  • Demon Of Monster Origin: Becomes a part of Cthulhu’s demon army.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: His son, King Ghidorah
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He speaks with a deep, intimidating voice.
  • Fate Worse than Death: During the final battle with Cthulhu’s forces, Mecha-Godzilla shoves him in the exploding time machine, which scatters pieces of him throughout multiple time periods.
    • But as it turned out he jump out of the time machine before it exploded.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Is this towards his father, Grand King Ghidorah.

Death Ghidorah

"Oh man!"

Grand King Ghidorah

Alien X

The Dorats/King Ghidorah II

Mothra and Rodan’s sons, who are the product of King Ghidorah transfering his life energy into Mothra. They later fuse together into another Ghidorah to protect Rodman, and wind up taking their name from their deceased biological father, as well as his personality.

    Other Evil Monsters

Gojira/Godzilla Sr.

Godzilla's father and the original King of the Monsters, he was killed by the humans with the Oxygen Destroyer. Or so everyone thought. In truth, Gojira took decades to fully regenerate and he has returned to destroy all the other monsters, except for the Godzilla family. He was also responsible for setting up the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S.! He is permanently dead once Lord Blundergosh takes him away to the afterlife.

  • Abusive Parents: He is this towards Godzilla, having forced him to kill a dolphin, repeatedly belittled him, and once lit him on fire, among other things.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: He's an even bigger asshole than his 1954 and GMK counterparts. And there's his abusive treatment of Godzilla.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Cthulhu uses his powers to turn him into Shin Godzilla after he betrays him, turning him into his mindless servant.
  • Demon Of Monster Origin: After dying, he becomes a part of Cthulhu's demon army. After betraying Cthulhu to the Monster Island Buddies, Cthulhu turns him into the even more demonic Shin Godzilla.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He really does not like working with Cthulhu.
  • Extreme Omnisexual: He has had sex with a meteor and a potted plant.
  • Heel–Face Door-Slam: After turning against Cthulhu and making peace with his son, Cthulhu turns him into the mindless Shin Godzilla.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: He tricks Blundergosh into taking him back into the afterlife instead of Godzilla after Cthulhu and his demon army are defeated.
  • Man Behind the Man: He was the one that truly organized the L.E.S.B.I.A.N.S., rather than Destoroyah.
  • Offing the Offspring: Attempted to do this to Godzilla when he refused to break the truce between the Divine Moths and the Ghidorahs.
  • Pet the Dog: He has been known to be nice to Godzilla during his birthdays.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: Just look at the above quote.
  • Walking Spoiler Not so much the character himself, but rather the fact that he is still alive.
  • We Can Rule Together: Offers Godzilla to join him, Space Godzilla, and Biollante as they destroy all life!
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: His various attempts to destroy the world and universe are because he feels that the destruction of everything would be better than letting Cthulhu take over the world and turn it into another Hell.

King Kong

Biollante

"What-ever—!!"

Orga

''"Orga's in the house!"'

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Gluttony and laziness aside, this Orga is a lot more affable.
  • Affably Evil: He's friendly, amiable, and a pretty fun guy to be around, in spite of being an evil monster.
  • Big Eater: His other defining characteristic is that he has absolutely no self-control and will devour massive amounts of food if it's in front of him.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: One of his defining characteristics. He repeatedly points out the fourth wall and questions the more confusing aspects of the show, generally confusing his fellow monsters in the process.
  • Fat Bastard: He is the fattest monster on Monster Island.
  • Genius Bruiser: He's generally shown to be rather intelligent, and while he rarely fights, when he does he's show to be powerful enough to knock out Godzilla with a single punch.

  • Evil Sounds Deep
  • Karma Houdini: The Stinger of Destroy All Godzillas implies he murdered Anime Mechagodzilla and was able to escape.
  • Knight of Cerebus: He is played completely seriously as a threat, and has no humorous quirks or redeeming qualities whatsoever.
  • There Can Be Only One: His motivation, he sees himself as the only Godzilla allowed to exist in the multi-verse.
  • Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: While some of the villains of the series could be serious they always have a funny side to them. There is NOTHING played for laughs with him.
  • Was Once a Man: Mutated into a more monstrous and powerful form by a flawed Oxygen Destroyer.

Dr. Ibuki

Jet Jaguar's creator.

  • Hate Sink: He's a smug, callous Mad Scientist who only views Jet as only an object and desires to kill him so he can get in good with the military again.
  • Humans Are the Real Monsters: In a show with extremely goofy villains Ibuki stands out as one of the most despicable ones despite just being a normal man.
