As a whole
- Caper Crew: while the dynamic is the most pronounced when they actually run capers (which they do several times), it usually applies on a regular basis too, and aligns somewhat with their roles in The Team.
- The Chessmaster: Nini, sometimes literally. He also fits the most neatly into the role of The Leader, at least in the first two seasons.
- The Conman: Adam, who also usually plays The Lancer.
- The Big Guy: Nitzan, who is inexplicably skilled in martial arts. Fittingly, she also the most Hot-Blooded.
- The Hacker: Avi.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Dori, who is also the Plucky Comic Relief.
- The Fixer: Aya, who has many Hidden Depths, is usually the one to come up with a creative solution to last minute problems.
- The Distraction: Mika, the somewhat obnoxious Large Ham. She usually also ends up being The Team Benefactor as the resident sweet rich girl.
- The Mole: usually Roni, as people tend to not be suspicious of The Cutie.
- Designer Babies: most of them got their special Lambda waves because of Dr. Berger's experiment.
- Four-Temperament Ensemble: times two.
- Sanguine: Roni, Mika and Adam
- Choleric: Nitzan and Aya
- Melancholic: Nini and Avi
- Phlegmatic: Dori and Natasha
- Love Dodecahedron: like many other teen centered shows, by the end of the third season you could really use a flow chart to keep up with the dating do-si-do.
- Dori lampshades this in the second season, and correctly observes that most of the romantic combinations include Adam, who hooks up with four of the five main girls.
Aya Dvir
Played by: Hili Yalon
One of the Dvir twins. A gifted child with Photographic Memory.- Child Prodigy: she read the first Harry Potter book, in one day, by herself, when she was only three years old. She's also top of her class among the eight even though she is five years younger than most of her classmates.
- Dating What Daddy Hates: Aya has always been quite taken with Adam, but part of the appeal he seems to hold in her eyes in early season 2 is her father's disapproval of the relationship.
- Genius Book Club: Aya is the resident bookworm, and is well versed in the works of John le Carré at the tender age of ten.
- Precocious Crush: Aya has been harboring a crush on Adam when she was still ten. Then they actually get together, but somehow no one comments on the Squick.
- Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: fitting someone who's a bit of a know it all.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Aya and Nini have inherited their mother's big blue eyes.
- Younger Than They Look: Aya and Nini are actually five years younger than their friends.
Nini Dvir
Played by: Yedidya Vital
One of the Dvir twins. A gifted child with panache for strategy and chess.- Oblivious to Love: he has no idea that neither Roni and Rotem are quite smitten with him.
- Smart People Play Chess: Nini is a literal chessmaster.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Aya and Nini have inherited their mother's big blue eyes.
- Team Mom: the other guys sometimes tease him for it, literally calling him mom.
- The Strategist: Nini's "brand" of intelligence.
- Younger Than They Look: Aya and Nini are actually five years younger than their friends.
Adam Ha Levi
Played by: Michael Aloni
The alpha male of the crew, and the son of the head of the project, Avner. Confident to the point of being cocky.- Academic Athlete: he's on the school volleyball team and an excelling student.
- Big Man on Campus: Adam is the most popular guy in his year.
- Chick Magnet: seems to have his pick of women.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Adam can be very cocky, but he is also a very loyal friend.
- Serial Romeo: though he also has shades of The Charmer.
- The Ace: popular, smart, athletic, handsome, charming...
- The Lancer: To Avi in the third season.
- Really Gets Around: he has hooked up with four of the five girls, as well as a number of other one time characters.
Roni Malki
Played by: Dawn Lenny-Gabay
An outgoing, friendly math whiz with an unfortunate taste in men.- Always Someone Better: Roni's sister is always one step ahead of her, especially when it comes to Ilan, Roni's first boyfriend.
- Brainy Brunette: the smartest girl in most rooms.
- Break the Cutie: season 3 has her going through some seriously tough times.
- Encyclopedic Knowledge: of math.
- Geeky Turn-On: Nini's chess skills.
- Girl Next Door: Roni is a literal girl scout.
- Good with Numbers: Roni has some serious Rain Man skills.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Roni's jealousy towards Natasha drives a wedge in their friendship more than once, though it eventually becomes mutual.
- Odd Friendship: with Nitzan- Roni is a girly girl with a heart of gold, Nitzan is a tough Street Urchin who is a bit of a Wild Card.
- Parental Substitute: Roni lives with her big sister, as their parents live in Australia.
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: it's impossible to say no to her.
- Private Tutor: She helps Nini catch up on five years of Math classes in one night.
- The Cutie: everyone loves Roni.
Natasha Segovia
Played by: Adi Himelbloy
A talented painter with perfect visual memory. Her family immigrated from Russian to Israel when she was a baby.- Age-Gap Romance: with secret agent Omri, who also qualifies as a Sexy Mentor.
- Braids of Action: when training with the council.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: towards Dori.
- Dude Magnet: guys are always crushing on her, if not downright obsessing.
- Easily Forgiven: for hooking up with Daniel while he was still dating Roni.
- Everyone Loves Blondes: or at the very least, they love Natasha.
- Genius Book Club: Natasha is well versed in poetry.
- Grammar Nazi: she even corrects the teachers.
- In-Universe Nickname: Dushenka.
- Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Natasha can be a little cold but she has a sweet heart.
Dori Feingold
Played by: Danny Leshman
A dorky guy who excels at MacGyvering and puns.- Bad Liar: everyone learn the hard way Dori is no good at undercover.
- Deadpan Snarker: everything is a joke.
- Dogged Nice Guy: with both Natasha and Nitzan.
- Gadgeteer Genius: he creates chewing gum cameras, night vision goggles and nerve gas from the comfort of his bedroom. No wonder his hero is Spider-Man.
- Gallows Humor: Dori always jokes, especially when the eight face danger.
- Opposites Attract: both of Dori's relationships apply. He is a nerd and Natasha is the cool girl in every sense of the word. He is sickly geek while Nitzan is a straight up badass.
- Pungeon Master: Dori is often teased for his dad jokes.
- Smart People Wear Glasses: while the other eight are all very smart, Dori is the geekiest and wears the obligatory glasses.
- Stalker with a Crush: Dori tends to fall to this pattern with his love interests.
Avi Moskovich
Played by: Avi Kornick
A computer genius from a low income family. He moves in with Mika's family in the big city.- The Danza: both the character and the actor are named Avi.
- Deadpan Snarker: emphasis on deadpan.
- Fish out of Water: in the first season Avi has a hard time getting used to life in Tel Aviv.
- Motor Mouth: of the Techno Babble variety.
- Playful Hacker: Even though he learned everything he knows about computers from the far more sinister Chekov, Avi is an inherently good guy who only breaks the law to help people.
- Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!: Avi plays this role in the group in the first season, but Nitzan mostly takes over by the second season.
- The Leader: Avi is made the commander of the eight in the show's third season.
Mika Shaked
Played by: Shira Vilensky
A sweet rich girl with absolute pitch, a Child Prodigy musician.- Big Eater: Mika is always eating or talking about food.
- Brutal Honesty: as Avi puts it, when God was giving out tact, Mika was at a piano concert.
- Buffy Speak: though she is quite eloquent and high brow, when Mika attempts to understand Avi's tenchno babble she usually falls deep into this trope.
- Genius Sweet Tooth: a brilliant musician who always has chocolate on her person.
- Shipper on Deck: Mika is a bit of a gossip in general, and can be a little too invested in her friends' love lives. She is particularly fascinated with Adam and Natasha and Nini and Roni.
- Uptown Girl: rich girl Mika and Country Mouse Avi.
Nitzan Romano Berger
Played by: Limor Atias
A homeless teen that Dganit takes in. Unlike the other kids, Nitzan is more Street Smart and has "kinesthetic intelligence". She joins the team during Aya's absence.- Always Someone Better: mostly towards Aya, but also towards Natasha at times.
- Cold-Blooded Torture: Nitzan believes in doing whatever it takes to get things done, and has no qualms hurting Lina to find out what happened to Aya.
- Dark and Troubled Past: she has been in and out of foster homes and shelters, as well as living on the street.
- Driven by Envy: Nitzan's jealousy towards Aya and her connection with Adam makes her to make some very questionable choices that eventually drive him away.
- Living Lie Detector: Nitzan clams to be able if someone is bullshitting her, though by season 3 it seems her detector is a little faulty.
- Meaningful Name: Nitzan (flower bud in Hebrew) is full of untapped potential.
- Tank-Top Tomboy: she rarely wear sleeves.
- Violently Protective Girlfriend: lay a finger on Adam (or Dori), and you'll end up with a knife in you throat.

Amos / Dedi Dvir
Played by: Shimon Mimran (Amos), Tal Moseri (Dedi)
Aya and Nini's father, an innovative scientist. Developed the Turbo Time Rapid Aging machine, and then used it to make his kids older in order to hide them from a cult and other assorted villains. He then placed himself in the machine in order to heal his fatal cancer. Later appears in school as their much younger substitute teacher, Dedi.- Commonality Connection: with Dganit, as they both taught the Eight.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Dedi has a bit of a short fuse.
- Hypocrite: Dedi lies to everyone he loves, is a Horrible Judge of Character and is unreasonably stubborn, but constantly lectures his children (especially Aya) about hiding things from him , trusting the wrong people and being stubborn.
- Papa Bear: he will do anything for children, though he usually makes every bad choice possible on the way there.
- Meaningful Name: chose the alias Dedi, aka Daddy.
- Science Hero: or Mad Scientist, depends on how you see things.
- Teasing the Substitute Teacher: In his first class with the Eight - Natasha even draws his a threatening sketch of a guillotine.
- Younger Than They Look: Dedi looks like he's about 35, but is actually in his fifties.
Lily Dvir
Played by: Liat Bein
Aya and Nini's mother, who was largely absent from their lives since they were 3 years old.- Ambiguously Absent Parent: for most of Aya and Nini's lives.
- Heel–Face Revolving Door: miss an episode and she's already switched sides.
- Light Feminine and Dark Feminine: Dedi's two love interests: Femme Fatale Lily is dark and Closer to Earth Dganit is light.
- Mama Bear: from the first season finale onward.
- The Vamp: In the first season, when she seduces Roberto to do her bidding. She gets better.
- Wild Card: oh my.
Avner Ha Levi
Played by: Dor Zweigenboim
Adam and Rotem's father and Amos' long time research partner. He is the originator of the project.- Deadpan Snarker: downplayed, though Rochale tends brings it out of him.
- Doting Parent: he can't get over how smart his kids are.
- Horrible Judge of Character: to the point of being gullible.
- The Unfettered: Avner doesn't mind cutting corners for the sake of scientific development.
Rotem Halevi
Played by: Maya Koren
Adam's little sister. Back when Aya was still ten years old, they were best friends. She is very clever for her age, and always tries to find out the truth as her father and brother try to keep her in the dark about the project.- Commonality Connection: Rotem and Ben Ben become friends when they try to figure out what happened to their friends.
- Little Miss Snarker: Rotem is very sassy and doesn't take crap from anyone. She even talks back to the prime minister.
- Those Two Guys: with Aya back when she was Maya, and later with Ben Ben.
Dganit Dror Dvir
Played by: Edith Hatzor
The Eight's original Cool Teacher. As she attempts to uncover the true purpose of the project, she grows closer to Dedi and the two become a couple, and even marry in season 3. Ben Ben's mother.- Beware the Nice Ones: Dganit doesn't mess around.
- Cool Teacher: her students absolutely adore her.
- Mama Bear: no one hurts Ben Ben.
- Only Sane Woman: seemingly the only responsible adult in universe, and apparently the only one who actually cares about the children's well being, including their parents.
- Parental Substitute: to Nitzan.
Ben Ben Dror
Played by: Tuval Shafir
Ben Ben is Dganit's son. He was Nini's best friend when he was still ten years old.- Commonality Connection: Rotem and Ben Ben become friends when they try to figure out what happened to their friends.
- Morality Pet: to Mad Scientist Roberto.
- The Cutie: Ben Ben is sweet, trusting and loyal.
Elinor (Eli) Malki
Played by: Avital Abergel
Roni's older sister and Parental Substitute. Originally a physical therapist, she later becomes the personal assistant to Mika's father, then a sports TV journalist, a morning show host and an Creator/MTV VJ.- Actor Allusion: Eli says she's always had a thing for musicians. At the time, Eli's actress was married to the frontman of one of the most beloved bands in Israel, Teapacks.
- Cool Big Sis: While she and Roni sometimes fall into The Glorious War of Sisterly Rivalry, Eli is pretty chill and is always happy to have Roni's friends at the house and give them advice.
- New-Age Retro Hippie: season 1 Eli is into alternative medicine, wears a lot of tie dye and is quite an Outdoorsy Gal.
- Only Sane Woman: She rips the other seven a new one after she finds out about all the trouble Roni got into during the third season, lampshading how ridiculously dangerous their lives have become.
- Put on a Bus: in season 3, when she moves to London to work for Creator/MTV.
Doron Shaked
Played by: Dan Turgeman
Mika's father, a famous sports journalist and the host of the top sports show in the country.- Butt-Monkey: Doron can't catch a break, though he mostly seems to deserve it.
- Mean Boss: to Eli.
- Oblivious to His Own Description: apparently he hates it when famous people act like divas.
- The Prima Donna: get me an espresso, now!
- Trademark Favorite Food: his love of Espressos is meant to highlight his haughty taste in a time where only the richest had a coffee machine at home or at the office.
Liora Shaked
Played by: Dalia Shimko
Mika's mother, a Non-Idle Rich business woman and all around nice person.- Old Money: In a country as young as Israel, three generations of wealth is very old money.
- Only Sane Woman: of the Shaked clan.
- The Rich Have White Stuff: her home and her office are all white.
Lina Segovia
Played by: Evelyn Kaplun
Natasha's cousin. First appears in season 2 after dropping out from her masters degree in Oxbridge.- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: of the Wounded Gazelle variety.
- Shrinking Violet: or at least pretends to be one.
- The Fundamentalist: a fanatic cult member.
Alex
Played by: Daphna Shpigelman
The commander of The Council and Lily's sister.- Icy Blue Eyes: Alex has blue eyes and a very icy demeanor.
- Psycho Ex-Girlfriend: to Dedi and later Avner

Ilan Herrman
Played by: Liron Lev
Roni's older boyfriend in early season 1, a soldier and aspiring musician. He then falls into a coma and finds out she is younger than he has been lead to believe (in that order), and they break up. He then falls for older sister.- Actor Allusion: Ilan's actor participated in the Israeli version of American Idol. Ilan wins the fictional version of the show in universe and gets a record deal.
- Convenient Coma: Ilan's tank drove over an IED the day before Roni was about to break up with him.
- Has a Type: the Malki sisters.
- Wide-Eyed Idealist: About romance, art, music, selling out, friendship, patriotism, life...
Daniel Harris
Played by: Tom Avni
A young millionaire who first appears in season 2 as a love interest for Roni. He then pursues Natasha, Roni's best friend, as well.- Actor Allusion: Daniel's actor started out as a child star with a lead in the musical version of The Jungle Book. Daniel says he used to be a child actor in a musical as a kid.
- Intentional Heartbreaker: in season 3.
- Ladykiller in Love: with Lina.
- Super Serum: Berger injects him with the Crypton serum after Nini attacks Daniel with acid.
- The Casanova: Daniel is a romantic predator - he has no qualms about dating the two (underage) girls at the same time, and actively turns them against each other.
Dafi
Played by: Meyrav Feldman
A young agent for The Council, and co-commander and mentor of the eight alongside Omri. Gets involved with Avi.- Determinator: Dafi doesn't back down. Ever.
- Gut Feeling: Dafi is the first to sense that Daniel might still be alive.
- Tsundere: towards Avi.
- You Go, Girl!: Dafi was recruited to the council after shutting down the IDF induction center because they wouldn't let her try out for the commando unit.
Omri Alfasi
Played by: Zohar Liba
A senior agent for The Council, and co-commander and mentor of the eight alongside Omri.- Age-Gap Romance: with Natasha.
- Agents Dating: With Natasha and with ex Noa.
- Sexy Mentor: to Natasha.
- Tall, Dark, and Handsome: he is considered the most handsome guy around in-universe.
- The Big Damn Kiss: lands one on Natasha hen they finally get together in the episodes "Supermen".
- The Lost Lenore: Noa, his former girlfriend, was a fellow agent. She was captured during a mission in the Iranian embassy in Berlin and later executed in Tehran. It's implied that she physically resembled Natasha.
- Unmanly Secret: He loves eighties power ballads from The '80s, Richard Sanderson's Reality in particular.
- UST: With Natasha, for almost an entire season. Until they resolve it.
Pazit
Played by: Shira Katzenelenbogen
A museum worker and amateur Egyptologist Adam briefs while undercover in season 2. They later meet again in season 3 - she appears to be a librarian but is actually an undercover policewoman.- Badass Bookworm: a police detective who is well versed in Egyptology and ancient history.
- Hot Librarian: In season 3.
- Nerdy Turn On: Adam's knowledge of ancient Egypt.
- Undercover Cop Reveal: when one of the crime bosses threatens to shoot Roni.

The first season's Big Bad. Amos and Avner's former research partner and Lily's former boss/lover.- Large Ham: As fond of Chewing the Scenery as of science.
- Mad Scientist: Experiments with the brain waves of children.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Herbal tea.
The Scorpio Elder
The head of the Scorpio cult and the Big Bad for season 2.
- Cult of Personality: he lead the Scorpio members to believe he is immortal, but he is actually using a duplicate of the Turbo Time machine.
- Manipulative Bastard: a cult leader staple.
- Religion of Evil: he heads one.
Yulius Berger / Dr. Calderon
Played by: Ami Weinberg
The Big Bad of season 3, a doctor that experiments on fetuses attempting to create Transhuman babies.- Archnemesis Dad: to Nitzan.
- LEGO Genetics: his form of mad science.
- Mad Doctor: a mad Ob Gyn / plastic surgeon.
- Wicked Cultered: he likes the opera, fine liquors and classic literature.

The school principle during season 1, and the first lady of Israel in season 2.- Butt-Monkey: Especially in the first two seasons.
- Grande Dame: in a very hammy way. She even gets herself a Henpecked Husband in the form of the prime minister in season 2.
- Put on the Bus: Never shows up again after season 2.
Checov
Played by: Yuval Abramovich
- Bunney Ears Lawyer: the kookiest guy around and a brilliant hacker.
- The Cracker: he once tried to blackmail the entire country by hacking into the nuclear missile launching system.
Officer Yoel
Played by: Kobi Machat
First introduced as season 1 as the police officer in charge of the investigating Avner. In season 3 he is revealed to be Alex's second in command in the Council.- Cowboy Cop: he runs a renegade search mission to find Aya in season 2.
- The Comically Serious: he smiled twice at most in three seasons.
