Yep. Turns out the premium version got released before the standard version, which is set to be released on the 19th. Why they chose to release it like that is beyond me.

Here's my proposed Zola re-write:

• The First Avenger & The Winter Soldier: Dr. Arnim Zola debuts as a cowardly scientist who joins the Nazis so they'll fund his work. Gleefully making war machines as part of HYDRA, Zola blackmails Dr. Abraham Erskine into creating an untested serum for his boss Johann Schmidt, fully expecting him to fail so he can exploit this to get Schmidt to support his research. When the serum mutates Schmidt into the Red Skull, Zola gleefully threatens to have Erskine's family executed despite knowing they had already died in a concentration camp years before. When Schmidt lets Zola in on his plot to Take Over the World, the scientist enslaves and experiments on prisoners of war to build the super weapons necessary for the scheme before betraying his boss to the Allies when it's made clear failure is inevitable. Having become a true believer in totalitarianism, Zola joins the newly-formed S.H.I.E.L.D. and goes about reforming HYDRA within its ranks, all the while masterminding global conflicts to make the people desperate for security. To do this, he abducts and brainwashes people into being "Winter Soldier" assassins, keeping them in stasis and torturously memory wiping them between missions. All of this culminates in a plot to launch Project Insight, which will trap the world in an eternal surveillance state and give HYDRA the ability to slaughter any dissidents, with it being explicitly stated that this will lead to tens of millions of deaths.

Drayton has different incarnations due to the franchise's convoluted continuity. In the first timeline (TCM + TCM 2), he's the older brother. In the 3D timeline (Leatherface + TCM + 3D), he's the father. In fact, just to differentiate the two versions, I'll refer to the former as "Brother Drayton" and the latter as "Dad Drayton".

Dad Drayton doesn't qualify because he's explicitly shown wanting to protect his family. But he's not the one listed, Brother Drayton is.

Now, as for whether Brother Drayton cares for his family? It's kinda up in the air. On the one hand, he's the one who's been keeping Grandpa alive all this time (Grandpa stays alive for so long by drinking blood) and he might be feeling sympathy for Grandpa when recounting his backstory. Also, he and Chop Top sing "We love you! We love you!" very loudly to Grandpa. But on the other hand, he commits suicide with a grenade while Grandpa is in the hideout (granted, he was already dying from chainsaw wounds, so if he just bled to death, he'd be leaving Grandpa in the care of his idiotic brothers). There's also a bit where he prays to "Great Grandma Sawyer in Chainsaw Heaven" and during said prayer, he pleads for her not to put a curse on Leatherface.

I dunno, I could go either way with Brother Drayton. Regardless, Dad Drayton isn't listed to begin with.

Don't know about Drayton. There are some ambiguities. Rewrites by Armil Zola, great job Javert!

Guys, sorry to bother you, but can anyone comment on my modified entries for Archibald, Steiner, Prophet of Truth and Wilhelm Strasse? I tried and put a lot of effort into it, if there are any problems, please feel free to talk about it. I would like at least a couple of opinions.

Here's an entry from One Piece's Complete Monster subpage I feel could get something corrected.

• Dressrosa Arc: "Heavenly Demon" Donquixote Doflamingo, the boss of Caesar Clown, is steadily revealed as the epitome of selfish egomania whose own brother describes as having been born an evil madman, despite his servants' Undying Loyalty towards him. In the guise of "Joker," Doflamingo is a mover and shaker in the criminal underworld where he participated in a slave trade for the pleasure of the corrupt Celestial Dragons. When conquering his old kingdom of Dressrosa, Doflamingo enslaved the people by turning many into toys and making their loved ones forget them, and framing the good-hearted King Riku Dold by forcing him to attack the people he loved so much to make Doflamingo a "hero" for removing him. It is also revealed he planned to brainwash Trafalgar Law into being his loyal slave who would gladly trade his life to bring Doflamingo immortality, executing his own brother Rosinante when Rosinante tried to save Law. In his crowning moment of evil, Doflamingo attempted to massacre everything in Dressrosa, his own men included, gleefully proclaiming he would just find a new country and "family." Even upon his defeat, all Doflamingo cares about is seeing the news so he can appreciate the chaos the world is thrown into by recent events.

The entry states that Doflamingo turned the citizens of Dressrosa into toys but the one responsible for that was Sugar, though it doesn't negate the fact that he had her turn the citizens into toys. Here's a potential rewrite.

I am planning to put a reservation on a Genshin Impact fan animation titled Shadows In The Sand which is based on the "Dirge of Bilquis" world quest. I had proposed and gotten approved Babel from said quest, so I feel it would be worth discussing this in case this fanimation has any significant differences. The animation has been announced to premiere during Hoyofair 2023 on September 23rd. As such, I believe a discussion date of October 7th would be right?

I ran into a potential problem with Alistair Crane from Passions. I saw this on the show's page:

• Disproportionate Retribution: Alistair Crane (the show's Big Bad) created a borderline Rube Goldberg Gambit Roulette involving elaborate and (at times) interconnected forms of cruel revenge upon nearly every resident of Harmony, which the writers milked the mystery as to why he was doing this for all it was worth. Finally the real reason was revealed which was... his wife died there, so he felt that literally the entire town (including his relatives who only happened to live there and people who only recently moved there who he never met before) should suffer as much as he. ...What.

I can't find any further info or context about this. His CM entry describes him abusing his wife and says he "faked the [death] of [...] his ex-wife", but I'm not sure which one this entry is referring to. Wikipedia and other sites don't mention this and only mention him being abusive to his partners. Normally, I'd try watching the show for clarification, but according to Wikipedia, this show has 2,231 episodes. I can't find who added the above entry and the troper who originally added Alistair Crane to the Live-Action TV page hasn't been active on this site in a decade.

Should I just PM a troper who seems familiar with the show and ask if they can clear this up?

We're less concerned about limitations on fanworks, but yeah, October 7th is fine

Just a note for Zola, he had nothing to do with blackmailing Erskine. He mocked him about his family, yeah, but otherwise had nothing to do with him.

@Ghal, I don’t mind the expansions in theory, but there are a lot of unnecessarily large potholes and superfluous adjectives in there. Just shorten those up a little and they’ll be good.

Could go either way on Doflamingo, personally I don’t think the added detail is necessary but at the same time it’s minor enough that it’s not too big a deal.

Got a quickie cut post to make:

• Face the Storm: "Q" is the leader of a conspiracy group whose ambitions are the catalyst for much death and destruction. Trying to be elected President, Q uses his cronies to commit terror attacks to spread fear within the public, also spreading his corruption to the police and FBI. Losing the election, Q retaliates by leading various attacks throughout America, culminating in him overriding the government and nuking various cities. By 2040, America is a dystopian dictatorship, with Q's megalomania inspiring other like-minded psychopaths to rile up conflicts within their own countries.

So, having finally read it, in the context of the initial story alone, Q might count—I'd have issues there, but they don't matter. Additions to the story that are fully readable on FictionPress reveal that Q is a multiversal idea more than a single person, and that he shares continuity with everything from Lord of the Rings to Star Trek. The final bit has Rick and fuckin' Morty swoop in, genocide an entire dimension of Q followers, and Rick reveal that this is routine for him only to play the whole thing off as a joke as he wants to rush home and get to Interdimensional Cable.

" It's a sociological phenomenon"- burp- "slash death cult"- burp- "that inevitably occurs in the late stages"- burp "of developing civilizations. This Q guy is everywhere, Morty...He shows up in almost every dimension, bending planets and galaxies to his will. Some realities have been completely overrun by his followers- they had to ban like fifty Q Anon Ricks from the Citadel. There's only one option with Q worlds, Morty...Genocide, Morty, it's the only way to keep the virus from spreading! Don't ask questions you don't want the answers to, Morty. This isn't even my first dimension. Not likely to be last either." He pulled up an image on the ship's monitor with thousands of red dots. "These are all the universes where Q is present. We can try to hold them off, but it's only a matter of time before Q conquers the whole multiverse. Anyway, we're overdue for an Interdimensional Cable Episode! Yeah! Interdimensional Cable!"

It basically turns the entire story into a big hokey Serial Escalation parody that ends with Rick and Morty revealing they are wiping out entire dimensions to curb the Q cult's multiversal invasions, and it's turned into total Black Comedy. Dunno how this was missed when Q was proposed but there ya go. Think this calls for a cut posthaste.
