Ooooh man, I remember that show! I think I discovered it while Animal Planet was in its "our main star just died, so we're going to pay tribute to him by playing his show regularly" phase, so I never got to watch the show while he was alive (in fact, he died when I was 10), but I remember enjoying both it and spinoff Crocodile Hunter Diaries. It, along with The Most Extreme, Jeff Corwin's shows, and... well, most of late 2000's Animal Planet were what kicked off my love of nature programming.
