look at this mom i have a normal signature are you proud of me now mom?A boss battle that you don't fight through conventional martial means, in an others combat oriented game. Instead, you have to carefully choose your words to try to "break" him.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!Less difficult Idunn.
"Some people are damaged. Some people are really damaged. And then... some people are broken."A 2-step battle. You have to defeat the robot first, and then the person shows up with stronger stats.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessActually a mook, put in as a joke Zero-Effort Boss.
a Project Arrhythmia boss, most likely set to the tune of "Enigma" by Creo
A plague has consumed the town, summoning Pestilence, Horseman of the Apocalypse!A Final-Exam Boss, who has all the techniques of previous bosses within them. They telegraph by changing their clothes to look like the boss who's move they're about to use.
A reoccurring ally/love interest... unless you beat the game to 100% Completion, unlocking a secret level where it turns out that SHE was pulling the strings the whole time!
In terms of the boss fight itself, it’s a Marathon Boss with elements of previous bosses (that she killed) along with at least six phases.
SKREEEEEEEONK!
A tough boss fight that pulls all sorts of screwy stuff, like slowing down your movements, inverting controls, etc. They're optional, though.
One of the over 40 party members from Chrono Cross. And a canon mother to celebrate the upcoming Mother's Day(05/12).A doc boss with more defensive moves.
Above avatar, not above troper.

Bullet Hell boss that you befriend after the fight
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesThat boss your supposed to lose to at the start. Also there are butterflies and coffins every where for some reason.
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingThe post-post-post final boss. Fighting him solo is not recommended. Appears to be a regular Cores-and-Turrets Boss at first with swarms of drones and elite marines surrounding him. Phase two starts with him casting a massive defensive buff that must be dispelled by hacking into Cyberspace and beating a sub-boss under a time limit (or else risk a team wipe). Phase three is a madcap rush to the reactor while avoiding fire from surviving mobs. Phase four is another timed fight; the boss regularly erects a forcefield that buffs his stats until it is destroyed, then attempts an instant-kill self-destruct move that must be stopped/survived somehow.
Lovepilled and HopemaxxingA Final-Exam Boss, but not the Final Boss, in a turn-based strategy game. She tests you on how adept you are with managing unit positioning, because her and her Elite Mook bodyguards have a lot of mobility and attack you in a map full of chokepoints.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!you actually only fight the delinquent- the time tripper acts more as a support, reverting and messing with time to screw over your attempts to attack and give the delinquent another chance to strike. they can be struck to temporarily disable them, but they'll revert back in fighting shape after 2 or 3 turns.
mythweaver only has 4 moves- he can slice, he can parry, he can summon something and he can open fire. seems simple.
the slice is guaranteed to stagger you, making you stop any action you were about to do, his parry has attack priority which means it will come earlier than anyone else and it staggers too. the summons invoke robotic replicas of the Demonic Spiders of the game and his gunfire deals 20 consecutive, but thankfully randomly targeted and light damage blows.

A simple, but by no means easy, Bonus Boss that's actually the No. 2 of the Big Bad. Takes quite a bit of effort to find, and even more to beat.
That is an almost perfect description of his fight in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.

I can't say goodbye to yesterday…A Previous Player-Character Cameo boss, a bit like red from pokemon. A Bonus Boss, and fairly difficult, dealing high damage with the sword, and being too agile for their own good, and the player's sanity. The only reward is bragging rights, but it's generally considered pretty cool.
Huh. Never heard of that. Guess I'm secretly a game designer then.

A sheriff in an action game. His attacks are easily dodged, however, once they hit you, you hurt badly.
artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."An office miniboss. She throws projectile pens and pushpins, and slingshots boomerang-rubber bands.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenA mid-game boss, who fights you in a super-market. Their attacks involve throwing bags of chips, attacking the player physically, and taunting them.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessA Fragile Speedster, attacking with a handgun.
You fight the ship in the first phase. Then the boss Turns Red and rams straight into your boat forcing you to fight the captain.

what’s supposed to be a tutorial boss... except it has a huge learning curve since it’s also a Flunky Boss that summons vampires than drain your HP and your money
