I know I'm late to mention this, but I watched "Meet the OddParents" and the "And my nuts!" line was indeed referring to actual nuts and not privates, so it's an Accidental Innuendo.

The "Kneel down before me!" line sounds a bit like an Accidental Innuendo since I've heard quite a few jokes about how strange that sounds.

The example involving the popular maid was not referring to any of the battle chatelaines (AFAIK, I couldn’t find anything on their quote pages, but it could be that they don’t contain all the quotes) but only the Platinum sprites are any revealing.

It really looks like Nidoqueen is just flexing, and she's nowhere near human-looking enough for this to be objectionable.

Yeah, this is clearly just talking about them having tempers.

I think this is a misrepresentation. I couldn't find any screenshots or footage showing its secondary form in Pokkén Tournament.

There is a secondary form in the mainline games; compare this◊ to this◊. This difference simply changes its white crest to red, but it doesn't appear to be blood. It sounds like the troper is looking for gore where there is none.

Manga

Ugh.

There is no official body governing what can and can't be published in manga. If any of these examples were originally uncensored in the English translation and changed in the second edition, they are valid, but unfortunately the examples don't say which is which. The wiki mentions that Green hiding Pokéballs between her bra and her top was changed, so we can keep that one; for the rest, we'll either need to scour the wiki or find someone who has read both versions.

Isn't this the manga that is built around appealing to gynophiles?

From what I can gather, the sexier version is the one originally drawn by Toshihiro Ono, after which he makes a censored version for publication in Japanese comic books. The Taiwanese and Singaporean translations are based on the original artwork. Singapore appears to have pretty strict censorship rules, but I couldn't find anything specifically related to the government's policy on comics, so there is no way to confirm if this is valid.

Again, there is no body stating that manga can't portray attempted suicide.

I don't believe this musical is performed in countries that actively censor performing arts.

This is innocent. It's a double entendre at worst, and the words might not even have the same connotations in the original Japanese.

This is from YouTube. YouTube does not actually have a radar; there are rules, but they only get enforced if somebody makes a complaint after the fact.

^ The video with the Mimikyu in Scraggy's pants seems like an Accidental Innuendo to me. It does look pretty awkward.

Is this example legitimate?

• In the Gravity Falls episode "Roadside Attraction", When Darlene is talking to Stan after she traps him in her web, she tells him that "This time, you're the one getting used for your body", referring to the fact that she's going to eat him. Simply referencing the act of using another person for selfish purposes would have been fine, but specifying that it's for their body leaves little wiggle room for non-sexual interpretations. Afterwards, "Allow me to slip into something more horrifying." before she transforms, a parody of the famous "Slip into Something More Comfortable" line often used right before a nude scene/sex. In America, this episode was rated TV-Y7.

I'm inclined to just call it Parental Bonus, though we do have Word of God that this show had very particular and strict censors when it came to anything that could be read as sexual.

i'm a bit late to it but the way lillie's exeggutor joke is framed to me seems to be That Came Out Wrong or Lampshaded Double Entendre (given that she immediately blushes and laughs about the turn of phrase), which still isn't necessarily GCPTR. it's the same type of joke as "where do swimmers keep their poké balls"

So maybe a Parental Bonus then?

I view Lillie's Exeggutor joke as being more of DIH.

Likewise, the Gravity Falls example is borderline, but I'm inclined to say it's DIH.

PB And J Otter seems like an easy cut:

• Flick Duck has a Precocious Crush on the soccer star Mia Lamb. When she appears on-screen in one episode, Flick faints the instant he recognizes her. Nothing wrong with being in love and fainting.
• The Toilet Humor mentioned on the main page certainly counts as well. In fact, in "Three's a Crowd", Opal downright says that she has to change a "poopy diaper". Just how was Jumbo Pictures able to get the word "poop" (or any derivative thereof) past Disney Channel S&P? "Poop" isn't a bad word.
  • And then there's Mayor Jeff's obsession with toilet seat covers. Sounds like Toilet Humor, which is acceptable.
• Baby Butter's Imagine Spot in "The Legend of Ponce de L'Otter" has her take off her diaper and toss it in the lake to absorb all of the water from Lake Hoohaw so that the rest of the cast can go find Ponce de L'Otter's lost telescope. We guess this was intended as Naked People Are Funny more than an attempt to get something Disney would normally reject past their censors. Yeah, it was probably just a joke.
• In "Bubbles' Beginnings", Peanut responds to his parents telling him and his two sisters to give back Bubbles with the line "Even if Ootsie and Bootsie don't give a flip about Bubbles?", which includes an euphemism for the F bomb. It's not like they actually say "fuck", this is acceptable language.

Yeah, flip is a very mild expletive, on about the same level as darn. Cut that page.

I see one valid example, and a whole lot of innuendo.

* Jelfonzo, the shopkeeper of the clothing shop, wears a different shirt every day of the week. On tuesday, he wears a shirt with text written in the game's Cipher Language. Someone extracted the shirt's texture in order to translate the text, only to discover that it says "FUCK YOU". No, really.

Splatoon 2 is rated "E-10+". I'm not familiar with the details of the "E-10+" rating, but I'm confident that a t-shirt reading "fuck you" is a violation.

Seems valid enough to me. Well-hidden but still in the game.

I'm thinking about whether Kings Of The Beach for the NES counts. Nintendo was known to censor games with sexual contents early on ("include sexually suggestive or explicit content including rape and/or nudity;"). There are several scenes where girls in swimsuits are shown on the password screen after completing a stage, and one of them clearly has covered nipples (here at 17:34 and 53:52). I think it sounds suggestive enough to not fit their standards, but want to make sure.

Do you have a first-party or WOG source for Nintendo's internal policies at the time?

It appeared in Parent's Guide to Video Games, which compiled some of the officially released policies for parents' information. I found it here. It implies the standards were truly put in place in 1988, while the game was released in 1989. But admittedly, I'm not sure it's first-party or WOG if on the one hand those are official standard but on the other hand they're not provided 100% directly through the creators, maybe second-party.
