This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Yeah, that seems like a different trope.
I don't see what pun is, so I vote pull. It typically takes about 4-5 votes for a cut, so these seems sufficient.
Are troper quotes allowed? Fandom Rivalry has one.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallThey're not strictly forbidden to our awareness, but in almost all cases, finding something better from actual media isn't hard.
Levitating Lotus Position and The Needless have nearly the same quote. Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
I cut the latter down to the second sentence, since that was the only part relevant to the trope.
They look different enough to me.
That sounds like a good idea in my opinion.
The page quote for Countdown to Final Crisis is this:
For context this is a jab at the series in another comic, though it doesn't make it clear which one (For the record it's Booster Gold #1 from October 2007). I presume this is an easy cut?
Meanwhile the quotes page is either just quoting the Atop the Fourth Wall review or snarky potholing in some notorious quotes from the comic (which I don't think is allowed even on quotes pages?) I don't know if reviewer quotes are allowed in pages for the works they're reviewing, but if they aren't it'd be an easy cut.

I feel they're both easy cuts, especially the second one.
Should the quotes page just be cut entirely, or just cut down to the quotes from the comic itself?
I'd cut all of them, sans the quotes from the comic. However, I'd still keep the page.
The quote on Free-Range Children seems to talk about how "this trope doesn't happen in real life" without describing or explaining what the trope is.
Some better alternatives from the Quotes/ subpage:
If he could do it, so could she [Chloe]. She could run away and leave the city behind and go on a journey by herself.
Alex: I don't know. She said she was gonna go grab dinner.
Bridgette: Five year olds don't just "grab dinner"! You have to order it on GrubHub for them.
All of those feel a little too context-specific to me.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.the quote for Token Mini-Moe is a holdover from when it was Token Loli. is that appropriate, or should it be cut? it gives me a bad taste in my mouth, since i know we generally try to avoid using the term
I'd cut it.
The quote on Free-Range Children needs to go away posthaste because it is simply false. Preteens wandering around town is something I see very regularly.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgreed. Happens in my town too.
I like the third quote the most.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallWhile the quote on Tim Allen is in my opinion funny, is it really descriptive of Allen? What should I do with it?
The quote in question:
That's Adam Westing at most. I say either look for another one or just delete it.
I vote delete it.
(Annoyed grunt)It's actually in TRS right now. Added a banner.

About time; I hear it's been misused a lot. Also, how do you feel about cutting the quote?
The Tim Allen quote is gone. Thanks everyone.

I haven't done a cut in a while. Is 2 or 3 agreements enough to pull?
