Master Chief John/J-117 was a small boy given severe physical augmentations.
Compared to most soldiers, at best he's a young adult now. He's got super strength, is a master of the Indy Ploy, and has destroyed entire armies and operations almost singlehandedly at times.
And we're not even getting into his armor abilities.
He's also a master of pretty much every weapon the Covenant and Humanity have to offer, along with Forerunner technology.
Basically, one Shell-Shocked Solider who's never going to retire, and never gives up.
And he was an average kid.
Master Chief doesn't have any bodies to do that with per-se, though he likely 'sees' ghosts occasionally.
