Hi, I'm Morgen Reiter. I first stumbled across this site while searching for Character Alignments for Naruto characters (don't ask why, there is no good reason), and after first being a bit iffy on this site, I became a regular reader and, eventually, a contributor. Though I haven't contributed a whole lot in comparison some of the other contributors on here, I do edit regularly, mostly around pages and tropes sections that concern Anime & Manga and Heavy Metal.
I'm currently a 23 year-old college student from the USA.

- Anime & Manga: A fan, and one that TV Tropes helped forge at that!
- Asperger Syndrome: Diagnosed at age 6. My relationship with it has been... complicated, to say the least.
- Bilingual Bonus: My username is German for "Morning Knight".
- Berserk Button: Discrimination or elitism of any sort, religion and the supernatural in general, and Conspiracy Theories.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: Downplayed. I probably could accomplish much more with my life if I was just a little less lazy.
- Cluster F-Bomb: I do this a lot, especially when dealing with technology or particularly frustrating video games.
- Fatal Flaw: Greed. If something looks interesting, I probably will end up buying/downloading it. I'm particularly bad about this with regard to Steam and GOG.com.
- Grammar Nazi: Though I normally don't give two shits about proper grammar and mess up quite a bit myself, I do make an effort to clean up any spelling errors I catch when editing a page or commenting.
- Metalhead: To the fuckmothering core!
- Black Metal: My personal favorite genre, this is what I listen to the most. Favorite Bands: Celtic Frost, Dissection, & Peste Noire.
- Viking/Pagan Metal: Another Favorite genre. Favorite Bands: Bathory, Graveland, & Enslaved.
- Death Metal: Particularly if it's MorbidAngel-influenced. Favorite Band: Morbid Angel, Incantation, & .
- Technical Death Metal: I also like quite a bit of this. Favorite Bands: Demilich, Suffocation, & Nocturnus.
- Doom Metal: My second favorite genre after Black Metal, though I don't listen to it as often as I would like. Favorite Bands: Pentagram, Candlemass, & Katatonia.
- Sludge Metal; Another genre I like but need to list to more. Favorite Bands: Acid Bath, Eyehategod, & The Melvins.
- Folk Metal: Particularly if it's Black Metal/Viking Metal influenced. Favorite Bands: Nokturnal Mortum, Moonsorrow, & Falconer.
- Groove Metal: I like this genre, though for some reason I just can't get into Pantera. Favorite Bands: Sepultura, Nevermore, & Machine Head.
- Avant-Garde Metal: I've dabbled a bit in here. Favorite Bands: Sigh, Deathspell Omega, & Gorguts.
- Industrial Metal: Another favorite of mine. Favoirte Bands: Godflesh, Blut Aus Nord, & Ministry.
- New Wave of British Heavy Metal: I created the page for it, though ironically I don't listen to it all that much.
- Power Metal: Another genre I especially like. Favorite Bands: Virgin Steele, Stratovarius, & Angra.
- Progressive Metal: Though I do love Progressive Rock, I don't listen to this as much I'd like to. Favorite Bands: Green Carnation, Edge of Sanity, & X Japan.
- Speed Metal: Good for getting the blood pumping. Favorite Bands: Judas Priest, Running Wild, & Accept.
- Thrash Metal: Not my favorite, though I do like a few of the classic bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Kreator, and Sodom. Favorite Bands: Sodom, Kreator, & Megadeth.
- Traditional Metal: You gotta respect the roots, man. Favorite Bands: Deep Purple & Manowar.
- Melodic Death Metal: I've been getting into this more & more lately. Favorite Bands: Dark Tranquillity, Arghoslent, & In Flames.
- Some of the non-metal genres I like are:
- Classical Music: What I primarily listened to before I got into metal. Favorite Artists: Bach, Vivaldi, & Beethoven.
- Hardcore Punk: Don't listen to this as much as I'd like to (too much good Black Metal out there :P), though I'm still fond of this stuff. Favorite Bands: Discharge, Black Flag, & Minor Threat.
- Industrial: Pretty much the only Electronic Music genre I listen to, save a few Synth-Pop acts like Kraftwerk. Favorite Bands: Cabaret Voltaire & Throbbing Gristle (only because it's the only band to truly scare me).
- J-Pop: Occasionally, especially if it's from an anime.
- Metalcore: Particularly the older bands. Favorite Bands: Converge, Zao, & The Dillinger Escape Plan.
- Noise Rock: My favorite genre of Alternative Rock. Favorite Bands: Swans, Big Black, & Man is the Bastard.
- Post-Hardcore: Especially the heavier/more progressive acts.
- Post-Punk: I listen to this on occasion too. Favorite Band: Killing Joke.
- Progressive Rock: My favorite non-metal genre, and the first genre of Rock Music I was exposed to. Favorite Bands: Jethro Tull (my all-time favorite band), Audience, & Emerson, Lake, & Palmer.
- Rock Music: Especially classic rock form the late 60's/early 70's.
- Black Metal: My personal favorite genre, this is what I listen to the most. Favorite Bands: Celtic Frost, Dissection, & Peste Noire.
- Information Wants to Be Free: I live by and strive to promote this viewpoint.
- Nice Guy: I sure try to be.
- Otaku: In the classic (Japanese) meaning, I am probably a Heavy Metal or Tabletop Game otaku.
- Occidental Otaku: I am also this.
- Tabletop Games: Love this stuff, especially RPG's, but I tend to collect more than I play.
- Video Games: I also enjoy these, but again, I collect more than I play.
- 4X: One of my favorite genres.
- First-Person Shooter: Especially the "run-n'-gun" type games like Duke Nukem 3D or Video Game/Doom.
- Real-Time Strategy: The genre that got me into "hardcore" video games and one of my favorites.
- RPG: Eastern & Western varieties both.
- Strategy RPG: Two great flavors, together at last.
- Turn-Based Strategy: My favorite type of game.
