Trivia With Their Own Pages

  • Creator Backlash: John A. Davis admitted in a 2016 interview on Nickelodeon Animation Podcast that Sheen was a character who only worked in small doses, so giving him his own TV show caused his appeal to wear thin really fast.
  • Creator Killer: Nothing has been heard of O Entertainment since this show was cancelled. Likewise, co-creator Steve Oedekerk, whose theatrical career had already been sunk by Evan Almighty, has had no further credits to his name other than co-writing the story for the film adaptation of Cowboys & Aliens as well as a one-off revival of Thumb Wars to tie in with The Rise of Skywalker.
  • Franchise Killer: The series killed off all interest in the Jimmy Neutron franchise for much of the 2010's due to being a critical and ratings bomb, despite the original show continuing to enjoy sporadic reruns on sister channel Nicktoons to this very day. Not helping matters was the fact that one of the studios behind the show, DNA Productions, went bankrupt in 2008 due to the failure of their 2006 feature-length film The Ant Bully. It wouldn't be until the 2020's that Nickelodeon would start to acknowledge the show more frequently again, with Jimmy's father Hugh appearing as a playable character in the fighting game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (even though that was mostly because fans jokingly requested for him) and Jimmy and his rival Cindy Vortex appearing as playable characters in the third Nickelodeon Kart Racers game, among other appearances.
  • The Other Darrin: The Latin American Spanish dub was recorded in Venezuela instead of Mexico, most likely due to budget problems. This meant that Sheen was no longer Irwin Daayán, which didn't help to improve the series' reception.
  • Role Reprise: In the Italian dub Sheen is voiced by Alessio Cigliano, who already voiced the character in The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour.
  • Schedule Slip: This series began on October 2nd 2010 alongside T.U.F.F. Puppy, and the only season didn't air its final episode until February 15th 2013.
  • Screwed by the Network: Once the abysmal ratings and reviews for the first three episodes came in, Nickelodeon proceeded to air the episodes out of order and then move the series to Nicktoons after it was clear to them the series wasn't performing the way they hoped it would. It was promptly canceled after the 24th episode aired... with the latter two being aired months earlier.
  • Short-Runner: Only 26 episodes were made, spread across 2½ years on two different networks.
  • Star-Derailing Role: Its critical and ratings failure most likely did severe damage to the career of Jeff Garcia, Sheen's voice actor, as he hasn't done any major voice roles since the show's cancellation.
  • Working Title: It was originally going to be called Red Acres before it became a Dolled-Up Installment to Jimmy Neutron.
