• Defictionalization: The DENON headphones used in the game are sold to the public, as part of a promotion between the company and Atlus.
• Dummied Out: Digging through game files shows an unused outfit for Nanako - the attire of the new Velvet Room attendants Justine and Caroline from Persona 5.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes:
  • The only way to purchase the game on PlayStation 4 is to buy the bundle containing Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.
  • In Europe, a significant portion of the Downloadable Content for the game has been delisted from the PlayStation 4 version of the game, meaning that several of the additional costumes are no longer available.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Ashly Burch as Rise. Due to Laura Bailey's scheduling conflicts, she wasn't able to reprise her role as Rise.
  • From the original PS2 release to this game, and with Rise's recasting, only three of the original game have managed to hold onto their original English voices for the entire P4 series: Yu, Yosuke, and Yukiko.
• Playing Against Type: D.C. Douglas normally plays sinister villains, and when he does play heroic characters they usually have his signature Baritone of Strength. Here, he is cast as the Dancing Instructor, a lookalike of RuPaul who has similar camp and ham befitting that of a Drag Queen.
• Prop Recycling:
  • The movie that plays behind the end credits of Persona 4 Golden, along with the opening and closing credits of the two anime adaptations are included as Downloadable Content.
  • Several of the songs are just directly lifted from previous entries in the franchise.

• Uncredited Role: While most of the cast and English voice actors for the game are easy to nail down due to past performances and reprisals, every character in the game is uncredited.
• What Could Have Been: An early work-in-progress screenshot showed Yu and Izanagi dancing together, meaning that Personas were supposed to dance alongside their users.
• You Sound Familiar: Ashly Burch, the new voice of Rise in this game, previously played Rei in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.
