the day the game launched, expressing his approval. - Market-Based Title: The game was renamed from Hokuto ga Gotoku to Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise for its western release.
- Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": One treasure players can find in the wasteland is a music tape containing "Whole New World", the theme song for Phantasy Star Online 2, a game which was originally announced for a western release in 2013, but was delayed for several years before being re-slated for 2020.
- Meaningful Release Date: Released in the west on October 2, 2018, 7 years and 11 months to the day after Ken's Rage came out in the west on November 2, 2010. In addition, Ken's Rage 2 commemorated the series' 30th anniversary, while Lost Paradise celebrates its 35th anniversary.
- The Other Darrin: The game replaces every one of the original Japanese anime's voice actors in a similar vein to Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage, this time using the same voice actors from the Like a Dragon series.
- Playing Against Type:
- So, Robbie Daymond made a reputation of voicing soft pretty boys (even if one of them turned psychotic). So you might be surprised that all of those manly/Steroid-ish voices of Kenshiro here came straight from his throat.
- Sarah Anne Williams is usually known for voicing Deadpan Snarkers, Jerk Asses, or Cute But Psycho girls, and most of the time, those characters tend to devour the scenery. Here, she voices Yuria, a soft-spoken Nice Girl.
