- Robot Santa was originally played by John Goodman in "Xmas Story". John DiMaggio took over the character starting with "A Tale Of Two Santas" as Goodman was unavailable to reprise the role.
- Also in "A Tale of Two Santas", Maurice LaMarche voices the Robot Devil, whereas he is voiced by Dan Castellaneta in all of his other appearances.
- Michelle is voiced by Kath Soucie for her brief appearance in the pilot, and Sarah Silverman took over the role for all of her other appearances.
- Dwight Conrad is voiced by Bumper Robinson in his first two appearances, and Phil LaMarr, who also voices Hermes, voices the character for all his subsequent appearances.
- Harold Zoid, is voiced by Hank Azaria in "That's Lobstertainment", and Maurice LaMarche in "The Beast with a Billion Backs".
- Leo Wong was originally voiced by Billy West and Scoop Chang was originally voiced by David Herman and then Maurice LaMarche. Starting with the Hulu run, both characters were recast and are now voiced by Feodor Chin.
- URL and Barbados Slim were originally voiced by John DiMaggio. Starting with the Hulu run, both characters were recast and are now voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
- Zoidberg's uncle Harold Zoid is voiced by Hank Azaria in "That's Lobstertainment!", but when he briefly appeared in "The Beast with a Billion Backs", Maurice LaMarche voiced him instead.
- The entire Latin American Spanish voice cast (except for Zoidberg and Zapp Brannigan) was replaced for the movies and Seasons 5, 6, and 7 of the show due to the Mexican voice acting strike.
- While most of the cast of the Latin American Spanish dub returned for Season 8, Zoidberg got a new voice actor due to the retirement of Carlos Águila back in 2021. He is now voiced by Ulises Maynardo Zavala.
- In the Italian dub:
- In Season 6, Professor Farnsworth was recast from Sergio Graziani to Mino Caprio, due to the former's retirement. As Caprio was already the voice of Professor Wernstrom, the latter character was recast to Giorgio Lopez.
- In the second half of Season 7, Bender was recast from Dario Penne to Paolo Buglioni due to the former not being able anymore to keep up the voice pitch he used for the character. Zoidberg was also recast from Claudio Fattoretto to Angelo Nicotra due to the former's death.
- In Season 8, Leela, Bender, and Zoidberg were respectively recast from Pinella Dragani, Paolo Buglioni, and Angelo Nicotra to Tiziana Avarista, Carlo Valli, and Paolo Marchese due to Dragani and Nicotra's retirement and Buglioni's decision of not voicing cartoons anymore outside of animated movies.
