"You know what, I—you know what, I am done! I am done! I am not doing this—I am not doing this anymore. I'm not wasting another second of my life on any of these girls."
Jonas, "I'm Done"
Dates Posted: (2007) August 6, 7, 9, 10, 13-16, 18, 20, 22

With Bree dead, the TAAG start going back to their old lives. Sarah and Taylor return to Zavalla, Spencer goes back to his job, Daniel goes back home and starts checking out colleges, and Jonas goes back home and grieves. But then a new vlogger begins to post some interesting content...

"Speak to Me!": Carla and Toby, from the "Uncle Dan" party, stay with Jonas to try and get him out of his funk, but they don't quite succeed.

"Sluttiness Prevails": Taylor gives an update from Zavalla on how her and Sarah have been hanging in there.

"The Unsolvable Formula": Spencer talks about how he's been doing and discusses what he observed at the Ceremony.

"We Reach Out": Someone calling themselves "LaRezisto" posts a cryptic video that is targeted against the Hymn of One and the Order...

"My Parents Suck Too": Daniel blogs about how he's been feeling, his attempts to talk to his parents, and how he's moving on with his life.

"Nothing More, Nothing Less": Carl and Sonia star in a Hymn of One ad.

"I'm Done": Jonas revisits several places that Bree visited in her oldest videos, then rewatches one of the first videos he did with her.

"Back to Work": Spencer visits Taylor and Sarah in Zavalla just to see them one last time.

"Remember Them?": LaRezisto posts another video, this time apparently showing Jonas' parents alive and well.

"Hey Dad": Jonas posts a bit of a rant about both his parents abandoning him and about LaRezisto.

"The Email": Daniel talks about his relationship with Bree, revelations regarding Jonas' parents, and the delayed email he got from Bree.

"Sexy Librarian ;)": Sarah discusses what's been going on in her life since the Ceremony.

Tropes:

  • All Are Equal in Death: One of LaRezisto's mottos is "Equality in life, equality in death".
  • Ambiguous Syntax: Sarah gets tripped by this (and Spencer being a troll) in "Back to Work":
Sarah: I'm going to be some things tonight that I really don't want captured on film.
Spencer: Does that mean I can't come with you?
Sarah: (meaning "no, you can't") Uh-uh.
Spencer: (interpreting "no, you can") Kinky...
  • Artistic License – Physics: In "The Unsolvable Formula", Spencer says, "You know, I never met Bree, but she was kind of like that one unsolvable thing in my life. My E=mc²." As anyone who's studied physics can tell you, E=mc² us not only solved, but is well understood and is more or less just a unit conversion formula.
  • Call-Back:
    • Carla jokes that Toby's jealous that she flirted with Jonas at the party back in "Uncle Dan".
    • The title of "Sluttiness Prevails" is a reference to the very first video, "First Blog / Dorkiness Prevails".
    • Daniel's "My Parents Suck Too" is a reference to Bree's old video "My Parents Suck..."
    • The little tour Jonas takes in "I'm Done" revisits several places from early in the series: Bree's house, the spot from "Swimming!", and the place her and Daniel went hiking.
  • Catchphrase: LaRezisto has "Fight the Order!" and "Equality in life, equality in death".
  • Color Wash: All of LaRezisto's videos are washed in green.
  • Esperanto, the Universal Language: LaRezisto may sound like some kind of goofy El Spanish "-o" translation, but is actually "The Resistance" in Esperanto.
  • The Faceless: Daniel's parents never have their faces seen.
  • Film the Hand: Sarah shoves Spencer's camera away after she gets tired of him in "Back to Work".
  • Hate Sink: Downplayed by Carla in "Speak To Me!". She constantly pesters Jonas while he's still clearly grieving, and her boyfriend Toby even tells her to knock it off because she's being annoying, but she keeps at it and eventually drives Jonas off.
  • Heroic BSoD: Jonas is still suffering from one following the events of the Ceremony. In fact, through "Speak to Me!" and the first two minutes of "I'm Done", he doesn't even speak, much to Carla's concern. He finally breaks out of it by refusing the call Bree left him at the end of the previous season, symbolically letting her go.
  • La Résistance: LaRezisto claims to be this, which is met with varying degrees of skepticism from other characters.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Jonas gives us this from "Hey Dad", especially when you remember that a lot of people believed the series was real when it first started:
Jonas: No, I do. I--I trust you. 'Cause I think it's obvious everybody knows that all you need is a camera and some snappy editing and you can get anybody to believe you.
  • Lonely Bachelor Pad: We see Sarah and Taylor's dad's apartment in "Sexy Librarian ;)", and it's a mess: there's pizza boxes and empty soda/beer cans strewn all over the place.
  • Never Trust a Title: "Sexy Librarian ;)" is mostly Sarah discussing her life and her parent's lives over the past three weeks, with pretty much zero sexiness. The title comes from the fact it ends with her getting a job in a bookstore.
  • Not Listening to Me, Are You?: Daniel attempts this in "My Parents Suck Too", rattling off a list of crazy plans for the future, but his parents don't even seem to notice.
  • Parental Abandonment: Appears to be the case in "Remember Them?" with Jonas' parents just living their lives. Needless to say, this really pisses Jonas off, and he says as much in "Hey Dad":
    Jonas:
  • Parental Sexuality Squick: Sarah is disgusted at her mom having sex with her new boyfriend Jack in "Sexy Librarian ;)", especially given how young he is.
Sarah: He's older than DCC guy, but probably still born... circa 1980-ish.
  • Put on a Bus: Spencer heads back to Neutrogena to focus on his job after "Back to Work".
  • Really Gets Around: While this was largely an Informed Attribute in Season 1, at the start of Season 2, Sarah, having broken up with Daniel, has started dating and sleeping with a ton of guys. In "Sluttiness Prevails", she hasn't even decided which one she's going to go out with yet to Taylor's disbelief. In "Sexy Librarian ;)" she starts to question her sex life and we see her actually pass on a chance to go out with a guy.
  • Refusal of the Call: In "I'm Done", Jonas tearfully tells the audience (and Bree) that he's not going to bother trying to help any of the future Ceremony girls.
  • Reports of My Death Were Greatly Exaggerated: "Remember Them?" reveals and "Hey Dad" confirms that Jonas' parents, thought to have died at sea six years ago, are in fact still alive after all this time, and apparently just living their normal life, much to Jonas' contempt.
  • Sinister Surveillance: At the end of "The Email", Daniel says that someone showed up to start watching his house after he opened it, which leads to him deleting it to get the man to go away.
  • Talking to the Dead: Jonas in "I'm Done" yells at Bree with futile anger while watching of their old videos, demanding to know why she didn't trust that they'd have a plan to help her, before he completely breaks down in tears.
  • 10-Minute Retirement:
    • Daniel says he's going to stop blogging in "My Parents Suck Too"... which lasts until "The Email" nine days later.
    • In "Sluttiness Prevails", Sarah tells Taylor that she's done with vlogging, but posts "Sexy Librarian ;)" two and a half weeks later.
  • The Voiceless:
    • Jonas, in "Speak To Me!" and the first 2 minutes or so of "I'm Done", thanks to his Heroic BSoD.
    • Daniel's parents make no response to their son's attempts to talk to them in "My Parents Suck Too".

"Look, if I was you, I'd... look for your parents!"
