  • The Gambling Addict: Teruo was addicted to gambling and had been pestering bento shops, including his uncle's for money. He even ended up borrowing from Waido Finance, which turned out to be his downfall as Togo knew people there and he decided to have him taken away since he was bothering his favorite shop.
  • Get Out!:
  • Girly Bruiser: Amane was taught martial arts from a young age but still has a girlish personality. However if she is in danger, she will not hesitate to use martial arts on her attacker.
  • Gossipy Hens: Mrs. Hino is a housewife who loved to spread gossip. This is deconstructed as the other housewives chew her out for it, driving her to target quieter housewives instead. However, her gossiping comes back to bite her when she calls Rina Satou on the latter's husband cheating on her with a younger girl. But Rina replies that her husband is a detective while the girl was a hostess and the fiancee of a Yakuza executive. After the Yakuza beats the lovebirds up, it turns out the hostess' lover was Mrs. Hino's husband.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Kasano-san was helpful towards employee Saori Nishida until the latter talked with Kitagawa-san, a man whom the former had a crush on. From then on, Kasano-san stopped being helpful and went out of her way to bully Saori into quitting her job and have Kitagawa-san all to herself.

  • Happily Adopted:
    • Eito Yamano was adopted after his parents died in a traffic accident, however his grades never improved and he became a delinquent, though he eventually cleaned up his act. Despite his rebellious childhood, he and his adoptive parents still love each other.
    • Mao and Yuna choose to live with their stepfather Kazuya because he was the one who treated them kindly while their mother Manami neglected them for selfish reasons.
  • Henpecked Husband:
    • Yusuke got mistreated by his wife Masami and his step-daughter Sayuri, who see him as an ATM. He couldn't take it anymore and divorced Masami.
    • Takashi was mistreated by his wife Karin for his inability to have kids. She stayed at her parents' house so often, he offered her massages and did the chores for her in order to keep her from leaving him. However, she eventually divorced him.
    • Keisuke was abused by his wife Mikiko after they married and silenced him whenever he complained.
    • Yoshihito was abused by his wife Maki whenever he talked to other women other than her, as she was deluded about him cheating on her. Eventually, he was fed up with her jealousy and divorced her.
    • "Father’s revenge on wife and daughter who forces him to do house work": Yui's dad was treated like a servant by both her mom and sister Airi, who badmouthed him every day. Since Yui was the only one who defended him, they also mistreated her.
  • He Knows Too Much: Downplayed, Keita's father was fired from his job for finding out that a co-worker of his was spending the company's money with permission. He told his boss about it, however he fires him instead because the employee is his best friend. However, it's later revealed that the boss was actually blackmailed by said employee for having an affair with another woman.
  • Hikikomori: Several stories have the antagonists becoming shut-ins in the end after they get what they deserve for causing pain to other people.
  • Honey Trap:
    • Sana cheats on her husband Makoto with a man named Hiroki, when the couple arrive at the hotel room, they find Makoto lying down on the bed. It is revealed that Makoto and Hiroki work together to expose Sana.
    • Ryoma was introduced as a man who Erika cheated on her husband Seiji with. Another episode reveals that Ryoma is in fact a friend of Seiji. While technically Two-Timing with the Bestie, it turns out Ryoma and Seiji were working together the whole time. Seiji originally wanted to marry his childhood friend Haruka, but Erika's father blackmailed him into marrying Erika by threatening the small businesses of Haruka's family. Ryoma suggested to Seiji that Erika's the type of girl to cheat on someone, and says he'll seduce her, giving Seiji the evidence he needed for a clean divorce.
  • Huge Schoolgirl: Minato is the tallest girl in her class which is the source of her insecurities. To make matters worse, her family is too poor to buy her a uniform that fits her.
  • Hypocrite: Yuya's father initially approved of Haruka before he found out that she worked as a hostess. However, it turned out that when he met Yuya's mother, she was working as a hostess herself. He does realize the error of his ways as he approves of Haruka once again.

  • Japanese Delinquents:
    • Wataru and his friends were delinquents in the past, though they became clean and started their normal life. They eventually reunite to intimidate a tough guy and his unwitting brother for destroying Wataru's house.
    • Shoya Domoto is a delinquent who skipped class, earning himself the complaints and scolds of his younger sister Chiyo, who is the opposite of him. However, he also has a younger brother, Kyosuke, who looks up to him.
    • Takeo Terada became a delinquent because his father left his mother for another woman. One day, he and his friends attempt to pick on an old man, however they are defeated by him. The old man turns out to be an ex-professional boxer named Kenzo Takemura, and Takeo decides to follow in his step as a boxer to quit his delinquent ways, with his friends supporting him.
    • Kazuya met Mayuna Sutegoro when she defended from a delinquent who was trying to rob him but he is scared of her. When Kazuya's mother married Mayuna's father Sho, they lived in the same house. Kazuya soon learns to be less scared of her and Mayuna warms up to him especially after he tells her to go to the hospital for her condition.
    • Mitsuki Nishiyama was a former delinquent after her parents' death before she became an adult. She does retain a rough demeanor but is kind deep down.
    • Sana Oizumi is a delinquent with the usual blonde hair who transferred to Minato's school. She intimidated the entire class except for Minato.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Karen may put down Nishioka and his friends but she was proven right about Yamada after he transferred from Nishioka's company to a bigger company and took all of their clients leading to their bankruptcy.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold:
    • Kento was a rough delinquent but he is kind deep down. He helped Mari despite her wanting to do things on her own due to not wanting to rely on others on account of her prosthetic leg. It is revealed that Kento's mom passed away from overwork and that is why he is so worried about Mari pushing herself too hard.
    • Alissa may seem like an Alpha Bitch but she is kind underneath despite being rough around the edges. She organized a fundraiser to help Koro get a new prosthetic arm.

    K 
  • Karma Houdini Warranty:
    • In this story, Aya's past affair with a married man comes back to bite her when someone uploads the beach incident with a waitress (revealed as the wife's younger sister) to the internet. From there on, she became the target of rumors, leading to her boss avoiding her. To top it off, even her parents got sick of her BS and kicked her out of the house because their neighbors know about her adultery.
    • After getting away with his crime, Satou ended up getting what's coming to him when Nakamura exposed the former's tweets about attempting to break the latter's computer and his foiled harassment of a female employee. Since he had pictures of himself in his tweets, Satou couldn't deny it and apologized, only for the CEO to fire both him and his dad.
  • Kawaiiko: Mari kept making mistakes at her hotel job and fakes a ditzy personality to cover it. The staff is powerless to get rid of her because her politician uncle is a regular customer. When the hotel's CEO failed to get a room due to Mari messing up, he decided to fire her.

  • Lady Looks Like a Dude: Fumito thought that Nanako was cheating on him when Rio called him and told him that he saw her with another man. That "man" was named Yuki Shugisawa and is actually a woman.
  • Lazy Bum: Misaki's father was lazy and refused to get a job, forcing her mother to provide for the family.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Aya dated Fuyuki for being the only one unaware of her past affair with a married man. She tried to keep him ignorant of this until she was assaulted at a beachside café by a waitress. When Fuyuki showed up, the waitress reveals that Aya stole her older sister's husband. He takes Aya's side at first, but then the waitress plays a recording of Aya's conversation about the affair.
  • Loony Fan: Kaito is chased down by a knife-wielding one, but she is stopped by Akihiro before she could do any harm.
  • Lured into a Trap: Miki tricked Mariko into attending a matchmaking party and left her alone with a playboy as punishment for attempting to rat her out to John. Thankfully, she escaped before the guy could have his way with her, although traumatized.
  • Lust Makes You Dumb: Fukawa is a lazy assistant manager who forces his subordinates to do his work while he watches porn on the company's computers, which results in the company's network catching a virus. Making this extra stupid is the fact that there were cameras in his workplace. Unsurprisingly, he ends up getting fired for this.
