This fanfic provides examples of:

• Adaptation Amalgamation: The Start of Darkness behind Gero's obsession of getting revenge on Goku is this. Taking the elements of Dragon Ball canon and Dragon Ball Z Abridged, the story reveals that Gero was at the Red Ribbon Army base with his son Gebu, who would soon become the basis of Android 16, when the young Son Goku attacked it and wiped out almost everyone. Gebu died protecting his dad from the enemy Goku's Kamehameha, which Gero vowed revenge for the death of his son.
• Adaptational Badass:
  • Wendy gains Storm Dragon Mode after consuming the Storm Magic attack from Erigor/Grim Reaper.
  • Lahar in canon never actually displayed combat capabilities as he was more of an officer sending out orders to his troops. Here, he learns Chain Magic and Elemental Fist Magic after learning his lesson from the events of Tenrou Island, allowing him to fight against Racer of Neo Oracion Seis.
  • Jenny Realight is a capable fighter with mastery of her Machina Soul and had defeated Klodoa who used the Jackpot Mark II in battle. She joins with Ichiya manning the Magic Bomber Christina.
  • Cardinal Lapointe in the anime was oneshotted by Gildarts who use Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Empyrean. Here, thanks to the Combat Drug, he catches the attack with his bare hand and used a palm strike on Gildarts that sent him flying. He later stood his ground against Gildarts, Byro Cracy and Solaseed.
• Adaptational Early Appearance: The Four Gods of Ishgar; God Serena, Draculos Hyberion, Wolfheim and Warrod Sequen appear in Chapter 32 compared to the Fairy Tail canon where they were first briefly mentioned by Ooba Babasama and fully debuted in Sun Village arc (Warrod Sequen) and Alvarez Empire arc (God Serena, Draculos Hyberion and Wolfheim) respectively.
• Adaptational Heroism: Android 13 is a member of the Magic Council as one of its Rune Knight Captains, Tyson Hammer, after finding himself in Earth Land post-defeat by Spirit Bomb-enhanced Super Saiyan Goku. Gone from being a pawn of Gero with no free will, he let bygones be bygones with Gohan and Future Trunks when they meet again.
• Adaptation Expansion:
  • In Fairy Tail canon, the Custody Enforcement Unit of the Rune Knights was mentioned to have the 4th under Lahar, and it was ambiguous which number Gajeel's Custody Enforcement Unit was under in Avatar arc. Here, there are revealed to be 5 of them:
    • The 1st Custody Enforcement Unit led by Head Captain Balderich Wilhelm.
    • The 2nd Custody Enforcement Unit led by Head Captain Amber Celadon.
    • The 3rd Custody Enforcement Unit led by Head Chief Tyson Hammer.
    • The 4th Custody Enforcement Unit led by Head Captain Lahar.
    • The 5th Custody Enforcement Unit led by Head Captain Furena Sakazuki, one of the Ten Wizard Saints.
• Almighty Janitor: Downplayed as Android 13 may be powerful than his fellow Rune Knight officers like Balderich Wilhelm and Amber Celadon, both Head Captains of the 1st and 2nd Custody Enforcement Units and the Ten Wizard Saints as a whole but he is Head Chief of the 3rd Custody Enforcement Unit as Tyson Hammer.
• Ascended Extra: From one-time movie villains, Tyson Hammer/Android 13 became a major heroic character while Hatchiyak/Rancor became a massive threat that outplayed the Neo Oracion Seis.
• Broken Pedestal: Downplayed as Indian Knight Trio were not happy to find out that their Chief and mentor is Android 13, one of the machines whose purpose is to kill Goku and destroy anyone who stands in their way, by Gohan. They still follow him but vow to put him down if he go back on his old ways.
• Deep South: This southern accent is a dead giveaway to Gohan and Future Trunks that Chief Tyson Hammer is actually Android 13.
• Dramatic Irony: In Chapter 32, God Serena remarked that he would hate to work for Zeref upon hearing that Hades was killed by the Black Wizard despite the former 2nd Fairy Tail guild master's devotion to him. In Fairy Tail canon, God Serena made a Face–Heel Turn and joined the Spriggan 12 as Zeref's Praetorian Guard.
• Coat Cape: As a Rune Knight officer, Tyson Hammer/Android 13 wears one.
• Expy:
  • The Indian Knight Trio are based off from Hugo, Jillian and Weinheidt who were members of Dawn Roar from The Seven Deadly Sins.
    • Hugo Steelsoul - he is a Composite Character of Hugo and Slader as he possessed the latter's Overpower Magic. He is a Rune Knight Lieutenant as Chief Tyson Hammer/Android 13's second in command.
    • Jillian Solaris - she is a Composite Character of Jillian and Vivian. She is a Rune Knight Corporal.
    • Philip Weinheidt - he is a Rune Knight Specialist who is a Mage Marksman as an Arcane Archer.
• Enemy Mine: Fairy Tail and Legion Platoon had clashed with each other over the parts of the Infinity Clock but when Neo Oracion Seis appeared, they team up to defeat a common foe.
• False Flag Operation: Cardinal Lapointe sends Centurion to intercept Midnight/Brain II from destroying the last seal of Will Neville's corpse in his tomb underneath Magnolia, giving an illusion that Zentopia (he controls after making the Archbishop his unwilling puppet) is fighting against the resurgent Dark Guild. However, he did not warn the Neo Oracion Seis leader about the Machias warrior's true capabilities that almost got him killed.
• Fantastic Racism: Towards machines in general.
  • The Machias race were regarded as threats to the Magic Council back in the First Trade War, and Lapointe outright calls Centurion "a literal piece of trash", stating that they're unfeeling machines who mimic humans with personality settings similarly like Wall Eehto of the Spriggan 12.
• Insistent Terminology: It's Head Chief Tyson Hammer, not Head Captain, boy!
• Heroic Sacrifice: Centurion saved Alzack and Bisca Connells and Weinheidt from Midnight/Brain II's Genesis Zero. Fortunately, he had a teleporter that whisked him away from the Genesis Zero's void back to Zentopia Church.
• The Man Behind the Man: In Chapter 31, it is revealed that Tartaros was behind propping up the Neo Oracion Seis by providing them with new Magics in exchange for sacrifices, using them as pawns to sow chaos on Earth Land and assess the threat level of their enemies that engaged the Neo Oracion Seis.
• Military Maverick: Android 13/Tyson Hammer is this as his laid-back attitude annoys the members of the Magic Council especially when he propose a team up with Fairy Tail, a thorn on their side. And when the Council forbids him from taking further action after the threat of Neo Oracion Seis skyrocketed, he decided to go off duty and dress up in his old clothes as a loophole. His fellow Head Captain, Furena Sakazuki, dislikes him for it, doubting why he is in the Rune Knights.
• Mythology Gag:
  • Klodoa's Jackpot Mark II is from Fairy Tail x Rave Master OVA where he's the main antagonist that Natsu and Haru team up to defeat him.
  • This isn't the first time Laxus fought a machine-like being who is immune to lightning.
  • Gray's Absolute Zero Armor is somewhat similar with Invel's True-Ice Kamui.
  • The three corrupted Celestial Spirits (Leo/Loke, Virgo and Taurus) take their appearance from the Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc.
• Not So Above It All: Despite being cold and cruel dolls made by Personification Magic, Michelle and Lapointe address themselves casually instead of their codenames Imitatia and Zero which Midnight/Brain II call them out on.
• One-Winged Angel:
  • Erza of all people undergo this when she manifested her dragon heritage from her mother Irene Belserion thanks to being empowered by Future Trunks' Ki energy mixed with her magic power.
• Original Character:
  • Chapter 16 reveal two more members aside Guttman Kubrick to be added into the Legion Platoon as part of reinforcements:
    • Solaseed, a formerly Retired Badass who wields Arc of Heavens, a Lost Magic.
    • Centurion, a Machias warrior who was The Dreaded in Zentopia that Byro Cracy was wary of him when Cardinal Lapointe reactivated him to combat duty.
  • Chapter 32 reveal the three other members of the Ten Wizard Saints in contrast to canon where they're The Ghost:
    • Natasha Undine, the 7th ranked Wizard Saint who is the Guild Master of Mermaid Heel.
    • Furena Sakazuki the 6th ranked Wizard Saint who is the 5th Head Captain of the Rune Knights.
    • Ranni Elspeth, the 9th ranked Wizard Saint who is a mysterious figure.
• Pretender Diss:
  • Solaseed rebukes the creation of Sorano's Angel Magic to be Demons pretending to be holy beings and that she is no real angel. Sorano doesn't take it well.
  • Klodoa in Jackpot Mark II mocks Jenny Realight that her guild Blue Pegasus is a joke, stating that even a false guild Cait Shelter posed more of a threat back when the Allied Forces faced off the Oracion Seis 7 years ago. This backfires when she defeated him.
• Sixth Ranger: Laxus is this when he joined the Fairy Tail strike force en route to Zentopia Church compared to Fairy Tail anime where he was not around.
• Super-Empowering:
  • The Neo Oracion Seis were given the Combat Drug that allows them to unlock their Ki and combine them with their magics.
  • Future Trunks gives his Ki energy to the Fairy Tail mages, empowering them to even the odds against their enemies.
• Spared by the Adaptation:
  • Aside Katja, at least one female Celestial Spirit mage who was targeted by Neo Oracion Seis to use Anti-Link on her was saved by Tyson Hammer/Android 13.
  • Cardinal Lapointe was saved from being reverted back into the lock of hair of Brain/Zero after his defeat.
  • Imitatia didn't revert back to a doll and became a real flesh and blood person, taking the name of Gonzales Heartfilia.
• Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Fairy Tail and the Indian Knight Trio did not get along with each other in first meeting due to the guild's terrible experience with the Magic Council. Eventually, they became Fire-Forged Friends when fighting against the Neo Oracion Seis.
• Terrible Trio: A heroic example in form of the Indian Knight Trio who are subordinate to Chief Tyson Hammer a.k.a. Android 13.
• This Is Something He's Got to Do Himself: Downplayed as Future Trunks refuses Lamia Scale's offer to join him in helping Gohan and Fairy Tail out of concern that they can't handle this scale of battle, citing that Lyon Vastia almost died in the crossfire. This also includes Jura Neekis, the 5th ranked Wizard Saint who was the "Strongest Human Wizard".
• Undead Tax Exemption: Despite having no records, Android 13/Tyson Hammer is able to rise up as a high ranking Rune Knight officer. Lampshaded by Furena Sakazuki when she questions why Chairman Gran Doma let him join the Rune Knights despite he had no background.
  • This also applies to Gohan and Future Trunks when they arrive on Earth Land and joined Fairy Tail and Lamia Scale respectively.
• The Worf Effect:
  • The Indian Knight Trio were known to be the strongest Rune Knights, trained by their mentor and superior officer, Tyson Hammer/Android 13. They were defeated by Cobra, Grim Reaper and Midnight/Brain II who gain their new level of power by consuming the Combat Drug that boost them to new levels.
  • Solaseed and Centurion were the strongest Legion Platoon members who were brought back to active duty as reinforcements to Byro Cracy and his comrades to counter the threat of the Neo Oracion Seis. However, this was inflicted on them:
    • Solaseed was soundedly defeated by Angel who took the Combat Drug that amplified her abilities and can summon higher level beings of her Angel Magic.
    • Centurion gets trashed by Midnight/Brain II who enhanced himself with the Combat Drug and broke through his defenses like paper mache, severely damaging his Machias body.
  • This happens to Tyson Hammer/Android 13 at the hands of Rancor, the Tuffle Hatchiyak, after some of his Power Limiter seals of the Neo Oracion Seis were released, demonstrating how much of a threat he is.
