Admiral is a crossover between Worm and KanColle by Veriseple.

Taylor has a public Trigger where she is rescued from the locker by a Shipgirl. German U-Boat U-505, also known as the USS Nemo, to be specific.

Taylor proceeds to assemble a metaphorical fleet of German Shipgirls from both the Kriegsmarine and the Imperial German Navy, attracting the attention of Empire 88, Gesellschaft, the PRT, and even the US Navy.

• Drill Sergeant Nasty: The USCGC Eagle (formerly the German sail-training ship Horst Wessel) acts as one to Taylor.
• Exact Words: To avoid being Mistaken for Racist again, Taylor orders her shipgirls not to speak with Empire 88 members. They simply dump any skinheads they meet at the nearest police station without saying anything.
• Godzilla Threshold: Hookwolf's dogfighting ring so riled up SM U-20 that she ignored standing orders not to speak to Empire members or use lethal force and smeared Hookwolf across the floor with a deck gun.
• Just Following Orders: Most of the time, shipgirls will obey any instruction without question; fortunately their standing orders include not using lethal force and not speaking with members of Empire 88. SM U-20 is the only one to avert this, as she's so riled up by Hookwolf's dogfighting that she ignores instructions and goes all-out.
• Mistaken for Gay: Taylor and Danny have another awkward conversation about the fact that most of Taylor's shipgirls manifest as pretty blond, blue-eyed girls and note that people will assume she Has a Type.
• Mistaken for Racist: Danny assumes Taylor is falling in with the Empire based solely on the facts that Sophia is black and she was rescued by a German U-boat shipgirl. The ensuing "I still love you even though you're a racist" speech results in massive awkwardness.
  • Similarly, while some of the shipgirls have Nazi symbology in their uniforms, they consider Nazism as a blight on Germany.
• Moe Anthropomorphism: The Shipgirls in Taylor's 'fleet' include:
  • German U-Boat U-505, also known as the USS Nemo, currently a museum ship in Chicago.
  • U-2540, which later served in the Bundesmarine as the research vessel Wilhelm Bauer.
  • RV Vityaz, a hospital ship formerly known as the Mars.
  • SM U-20, the first of Taylor's Shipgirls from the Imperial German Navy rather than the Kriegsmarine.
  • Saar, a submarine tender.
  • The training ship Horst Wessel, now the USCGC Eagle.
  • SMS Rostock, Taylor's first shipgirl that isn't a U-boat or support vessel.
  • SMS Kaiser, Taylor's first Dreadnought.
• No Kill like Overkill: Hookwolf is literally blown to pieces by SM U-20's deck gun in retaliation for his dogfighting rings.
• Oh, Crap!: Taylor's reaction to finding out SM U-20 killed Hookwolf after everyone else heard of it.
  • Compounded when Mr. Gladly asks her about life as a Parahuman.
• Oktoberfest: The submarine tender Saar, upon becoming a shipgirl, starts wearing a dirndl and cooking bratwurst and other German goodies.
• Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Taylor ends up having to leave both her home and Winslow after her public Trigger Event, as a result of subsequent accosting by gang members and teachers alike.
• Steel Eardrums: Averted. Naval artillery is some of the biggest and most destructive conventional armament (ie. not missiles or nuclear weapons) in the world. Standing to close will result in tinnitus and temporary hearing loss. A direct hit from point-blank range can overcome even a high-level Brute rating. Standing too close to Saar firing her "sidearm" causes a ringing in Taylor's ears.
• Supreme Chef: Taylor's personal submarine tender shipgirl.
• What the Hell Is That Accent?: Averted. Velocity is able to recognize U-2540's Hamburg accent.
