Anthony Sagar, born James Anthony Sagar, (19 June 1920 — 24 January 1973), was a British actor best known for his small roles in the Carry On films.

His first role on TV was in Dixon of Dock Green, followed by more police dramas such as Z Cars, Special Branch, and New Scotland Yard.

Alongside his seven Carry On roles that weren't cut, he appeared in many other British films such as Barnacle Bill, Law and Disorder, I Was Monty's Double, The Bulldog Breed, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, and Hill in the Offence.

He appeared in a few popular sitcoms at the time though, in one episode of Steptoe and Son and two episodes of Dad's Army as well as the spin-off film.

He died at the age of 52.
