Anthony Sagar, born James Anthony Sagar, (19 June 1920 -- 24 January 1973), was a British actor best known for his small roles in the ''Film/CarryOn'' films.
His first role on TV was in ''Series/DixonOfDockGreen'', followed by more police dramas such as ''Series/ZCars'', ''Special Branch'', and ''New Scotland Yard''.
